As a CPP alumni, I still make the time to stop by this place for a good beer and good pizza. Today, after stopping by the CPP Farm Store, we waited for this brewery to open. We decided to try their seasonal brew and a typical brew. I had gotten their Attendance Grade with notes of marshmallow (It really does taste like it). My fiancé had gotten their Dr. Ortiz Orange. For food, we ordered their Margherita pizza. The pizza had whole garlic cloves! It's been a while since we've had pizza and finished it. Not only that, we ate all the crust, too. It was thin, fresh, and delicious. The beers were amazingly brewed, too. The idea of supporting students always plays a big factor into our purchases. So glad CPP is giving students so many opportunities like this, and allowing us to support them. We will definitely be back again!
Our go to spot when we're on this side of town, craving a beer and yummy pizza! Lots of seating inside and outside! TVs all around to watch the game. This location is on the Cal Poly Pomona campus. There's tons of parking on the evenings and weekends. Bathrooms are located outside around the corner on campus and has a code. They're clean and the area well lit. Always clean and easy to find a seat and hang out! The pizza is always hot and fresh made to order. The sides are always super hot and steaming when you get it. Food always tastes great!! Beer is always great tasting! They have a core set of beers. And then a seasonal menu that changes. They also have wine and non alcoholic beverages in a cold cooler. Staff is always super friendly and nice! Have your ID no matter what your age as they check and will put a wrist band if over 21. Probably because on a college campus. We'll be back!
Walking distance from my office, so this is a regular lunch stop for us. Friendly staff, but it does take a little bit of time to get your pizza. Salads are served much faster. The beer selection is always changing, but unfortunately, we can't partake during lunch. They do have a happy hour from 3pm - 5pm, 7 days a week, which is a plus. Inside and patio seating available, as well as a corn hole game out on the patio. Brewery tours are available on Sundays.
Great pizza and sides, good vibe - pretty chill place to hang out with friends for food and beer. They have plenty of seats and outdoor/patio seats as well. Very close to Cal Poly Pomona (walking distance). We have ordered takeout before and also dined in - good experience.
We had such a wonderful experience at Innovation Brew Works! The beer selection was great, but what really made our visit memorable was the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly nice and sweet. They took the time to learn what each of us liked and offered thoughtful recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. Their genuine warmth and attention to detail made us feel so welcome. It was the kind of hospitality that leaves you feeling refreshed and appreciated. Great beer is easy to find, but service that makes you feel at home is rare. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable. We can't wait to return.
Here you try out bees and pizza. Pesto pasta and pizza were delicious. Open mic was fun and pleasant to watch and the outdoor patio vibe. Service was good too.
I love Innovation Brew Works! I came here when they first opened and have been back many times since. They always have a rotating variety of craft brews made on-site, and they even offer growlers if you want to take some home. My personal favorite is the Cattle Rancher (hoping they bring it back soon!), but I'm also a big fan of the Brethren Belgian and the 66' Blonde. All solid choices on their own or paired with food. Unlike a lot of breweries that focus just on the beer, IBW has some seriously good food, too. Back when I worked at CPP, I'd eat here all the time! Some of my go-to favorites are the Cheesy Sticks, the BBQ Pizza, and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza--can't go wrong with any of them alongside a pint. Service is always quick and friendly, and while it can get a little loud on busy days, the overall vibe is relaxed and fun. They've got TVs inside as well if you want to catch a game. Innovation Brew Works is definitely on my list for repeat visits, whether it's for lunch or just a quick brew stop. If you're at Cal Poly, it's a must, and if you're just passing through, make the stop--you'll have a great time!

This is my go to stop for a quick pizza and craft beer! Always fast and friendly service from the students working in the brewery and food service. Lots of big screen tv's on the walls to watch sports events too! Today I ordered the Hot Honey Pepp, ( red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, ricotta,hot honey) the ricotta is the star of this pizza! Also my beer was the Home EC. Ube cream ale on nitro. 5.5% Very smooth and creamy. Lots of great food and beer choices here
Stopped by for a quick lunch. Fast service and pizza was out in a few minutes. Yummy pizza! Saw that they have a wide selection of craft beers and seasonal beers. Will need to stop by another time to try some of those.
Dissapointing.. They updated the menu and got rid of sandwiches. Also happy hour time and menu changed. Previouslt 3-5pm now 2-4 pm and only applies discounts to a few items and limited pizzas. This really sucks because they also raised the price of everything by a few dollars so the happy hour isn't much of a deal anymore. More like a deal breaker. The food is still great but now overpriced, expect to pay $30 for a pizza, side, and beer now.
We have lived in Diamond Bar for 10 years and I'm mad we didn't discover this place sooner! Best pizza and for someone who doesn't drink beer, I ONLY drink beer here. So far everything we've tried has been delicious. My husband is obsessed with the Bubba Pizza and the Esquite (like Mexican street corn) so good

The Margherita pizza was delicious! I liked the full size garlic, diced tomatoes and thin crust. My fiancé and I were able to eat and finish it in a sitting. The space is a perfect location with plenty of seating inside and outside. There is corn hole in the outside patio and is very family friendly. I like that it is student centered and a great place to hang out. I went with my fiancé right when they opened. Employees were nice and fast. Lastly, I got the Dr. Ortiz Orange witbier and their seasonal year of the horse witbier. Both were pretty good. Although I do believe the pour I got for the year of the horse was a bit less than expected, it had a good citrus taste with lots of pulp. Felt more like an orange juice drink but was still pretty good. Would definitely come back to taste other beers and food. read more

Food is pretty good. We've tried every single one of their pizzas. My favorite is the elote with sprinkles of hot Cheetos. Delicious! Plenty of parking, inside and outside are decent. They have a large chalkboard wall that's neat. Messages and artwork from top to bottom. The beers are decent too. My husband enjoys their pop quiz and I always get their seltzer. The service is kinda slow though, which is the only downside, but the staff is polite. I'd recommend. read more

The Skinny: Beer, pizza, and service here is fire!! Clean, spacious, with plenty of seating indoor & out. Great food & drink options with good prices. TV's with sports on & good music throughout. NOTE: It is in the Cal Poly Pomona college campus but entry and parking isn't bad (for Thurs @ 4pm). Bathrooms are outside and require a code. The Fat: Was looking for something unique on the way home from Anaheim to Rancho Cucamonga and found it here. The young man behind the counter (Jacob) has amazing service and really knows the menu. He helped me figure out the best beer flight & pizza: Dr. Ortiz Orange is the star of the show. The Math Tutor was a refreshing and different. Brethren Belgian had deep flavor. "The Bubba" Pizza is the one! With light jalapeños that I crumble & sprinkle around to evenly give a kiss of heat to each bite. Probably the Best thin crust I've ever had... Could use more sauce in some slices. Feeds 1-2 people. I was highly impressed with the guest excellence Jacob provided, the quality of food, value, & overall ambiance. Valerie, the manager, is amazing as well. I will be coming back!! read more
Came here with friends on a Groupon deal for flights. It was a good time and ended with a tour of the brewery. CPP is my Alma Mater so it was kind of cool to see that they have this program and that it is all student run! Restrooms are outside and the facility is clean overall. The pizza dough is really very good. There was some confusion for our food order and, after waiting a super long time I'm glad I went up to check on it as it had fallen off their radar! Fortunately, we weren't in a rush and no one was starving. But then when it finally came out, they forgot to make it vegan (for my vegan hubby)! They were apologetic and made another pizza (we shared the first with our non vegan friends) and also gave us a coupon for a free pizza the next time we visit. So, that was nice. Definitely low key good hang. Want to return on their open mic night. read more
I finally got to try this place! This is a late review but we came here during baseball season Dodgers vs. Padres. They had the game on and we saw several tables being so into the game and food. Great atmosphere because there was a lot of energy but most people were just there to spend time with their family and friends. You order at the counter before getting a table. You pick up the food and drinks at the counter. I'm not a beer person but I heard they have a great selection. My favorite is the elite pizza. It's personal size and a bit spicy just the way I like it! The wings were also good. We got the buffalo. The fries on the other hand, was not crunchy at all. read more

The place was on or near the Cal Poly Pomona campus. apparently, it is ran by students of Cal poly. I went in and experienced their happy hour which was a $7 pizza, I got pepperoni, red onions, olives and then I ordered hazy ipa which was tasty as well. The staff were all very nice and efficient. It was a quiet setting. Nothing too big. I feel like it is a nice place if you happen to be in the area and want to support college students for decent bar prices. It is quiet in there. Every one seems to watching TV or studying so I'm not sure about the party vibes read more

I'm not one for drinks but my friends are so I came here just for the food and still left happy. The chicken club sandwich is a little pricy for the size but it's delicious. The hint of rosemary in the aioli provides a burst of flavor and gives it the creaminess that the sandwich needs to make it cohesive. I also asked for extra veggies and they were kind enough to accommodate that request for free although it seemed like a normal amount when I received it. There was plenty of seating inside for when I went around Saturday noon but I could see it being busy during a big game. If you do love beer though, they have an amazing selection and everyone at my table loved theirs. read more
The beer was solid, I'll pass on the food. I had the Belgian. It wasn't over hopped like so many breweries like to do to everything. Good malt flavor with a hint of sweetness in the heavy feeling golden liquid. The pizza was an overly crispy crust with not enough of anything else. The service is at the counter and friendly. It was a cool crisp February night but felt like Florida summer inside. Took some acclimation but it worked out. Overall the beer is better than the food with good service. I'd go back but not out of my way. read more

Ok this place is close to my school and we went on a class celebration. They were very nice and happy hour was even nicer. I really loved the pizzas. I will be back as will the classmates. I highly suggest. read more
what a great concept and a fantastic location. Got together with some colleagues for a campus tour for their sons to attend Cal poly. We decided to have lunch and be there first. we were a group of 10 and had plenty of space available outside. The experience was truly amazing. The pizza was out of this world good#, and I had the orange Hefeweizen that was absolutely astounding!! so crazy when you think that this is all student ran - - kudos to Cal Poly and congratulations to the students for such outstanding food and service definitely plan on going back again. First time trying this place on 02/22/25. Stopped in around 1:30pm - wasn't crowded but there was a good amount of people there. We were able to get a table for 6 inside. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, cheesesteak pizza, 2 orders of the boneless buffalo wings, waffle fries, & cheesy breadsticks. Food was good, pizza was really good. As far as drinks, we ordered a Brethren Belgian, a '66 Blonde, a Home EC, & a Luther Holt - all great. Will be returning for the beer but mostly for the pizza. read more
