Jamie listened to my description and experience with the issue, and took into account the steps I had already taken with another AC technician previously. He spent over an hour diagnosing the situation, spending a lot of time in the attic, on the roof, and on a ladder inside checking vents and skylights. He did not ask any redundant questions and was incredibly courteous at all times. he completed his work and sent the report forward to my property manager. Jamie was a consummate professional, and a business is only as good as it's people. I am impressed and very happy with my entire experience with Bruce's thus far! he was not able to go into specifics as I am not the one making the decision on how to resolve this, but I am confident that his report is thorough and accurate. He spent 10 minutes at a time in my attic and it was quite warm up there. Thank you for brightening my day and setting the bar for what good service should be.

So I didn't feel comfortable with them so I asked them to leave. I looked on Nextdoor to see who people were recommendating and Bruce's A/C was listed several times. I asked them to come out and do the $1,300 repairs that I was told I need to do before I got a new A/C unit. When Franklin came out, he probably spent an hour in our attic, he came out and told me that he wasn't going to do the $1,300 of work as it would be wasted and that I needed a new unit. I was absolutely fine with that. When I bought my house it was something that was mentioned to me, it was an OLD unit and it was time. The whole thing started because we have a smart thermostat and turned the A/C off when we went on vacation. We turned it back on a day before we got back and it was still not cooled down as much as we would like when we got home. We knew it was on its last leg. So we scheduled them to come out and they were very professional in every aspect of their multiple times at my house. Initial meeting, install, and follow up. I'm very pleased with them and I signed up for the 2 times a year service without anyone trying to pitch it to me. Overall the only thing I am disappointed with is that I wasted my time with the first A/C company.

He took the time to discuss what might have caused the issue, answered my questions, and never tried to sell me repairs or services that were not needed. It is so refreshing to find someone who values long-term customer relationships over making a quick dollar. Called Perfection Air on Friday morning and they kindly added us to the end of their schedule THAT day. Turns out it wasn't a leak but ordinary condensation from the unusual humidity here in AZ. It was also a sign of a mismatch between our old house and fairly new unit (2020). The swapped out a feature that helped the unit accommodate the humid-condensation. Its been about a month plus and this fix is working great! BUT more important -and why I strongly recommend Perfection Air- is that the owner Keith showed a detailed and holistic knowledge of how HVAC systems work. In my experience a lot of HVAC service providers how about HVAC units and that's it. Duct cleaners know about the venting system. Keith knows how these work together. He was able to describe a number of strategies we could choose from to improve the efficiency of our HVAC and comfort of our home. Some were simple and others more extensive. Never did Keith's explanations feel like the "up-sell" because he was able to explain and diagnose the whole system issues to us. His recommendations made sense. We aren't able to act on these now; but Keith wrote up estimates for the various strategies so we can plan and budget for these improvements. In south-central Arizona, every dollar spend on HVAC efficiency comes back equal or more in power bill savings. Looking forward to working with Perfection Air in the future.

I figured it was going to go out any time so I asked for a quote on a new 3 ton. Bobby came out and decided to inspect the current system and found that it was not wired properly. He fixed the wiring and estimated the AC will last us a little longer. It's running great and cooling the house better than ever. Also we are happy that we don't have to spend thousands. I did ask for a ball park figure on a new AC. Airamedics are far less than most competitors.
