I have used Airamedics before at a different house and they gave me a great deal for 2 new AC units. At this new house the AC is over 10 y/o and was struggling. I figured it was going to go out any time so I asked for a quote on a new 3 ton. Bobby came out and decided to inspect the current system and found that it was not wired properly. He fixed the wiring and estimated the AC will last us a little longer. It's running great and cooling the house better than ever. Also we are happy that we don't have to spend thousands. Additionally I discovered the tech broke the lock to my electric box AFTER telling me he locked it back up. (He didn't) I called the office for a return call. Never heard back. When I called again I discovered the office "woman" blocked my number! Real professional. I hope the owner sees this and realizes what he has working for him! Interesting the tech spent 10 minutes trying to connect my phone to the thermostat (which I greatly appreciated) but couldn't spend2 minutes programming it. One guard also told me the company didn't send them a proper invoice. Before I knew what the 2nd tech had done to me I asked him if I could request him and he said he was the only tech who really worked for the company and they outsource their other jobs to someone else!! I agree with another reviewer who said that this company pushes back on their customers due to their own office mismanagement. Airamedics was hired by my home warranty company and sent me to collections for $22 that I supposedly didn't pay in 2019. I called Airamedics and asked why they didn't just call me or send me a letter through snail mail, and they said they don't have the ability to contact all of their customers who haven't paid their invoices. They said that they emailed me ONE invoice the day of the service OVER TWO YEARS AGO for $22 that was not covered by my warranty. However, I never received said invoice, my guess is that it went to my junk mail, and I never heard from them again after they completed the service until a collections agency called me today. I have no problem paying what I owe, which I usually do on the spot. 1) Why wouldn't they just ask me to pay what I owe before they left the day of the service? and/or 2) Why in the world would they not send another invoice or just call me and confirm I even received the first invoice rather than send me to collections? Ridiculous! I have perfect credit and make 100% of my payments on time. They better not have ruined it! read more

Our HW company recommended Airamedics. My wife spoke with Tina Thursday afternoon and they were completed booked until the following week. We explained our elderly mom lives there. She offered Emergency visit Saturday. We quickly agreed. On Friday we spoke to Tina to confirm Saturday and she said "let me call one of the techs Ryan he lives nearby and if it's simple he can maybe get you running. This would be 0 stars if I could do 0 stars. June 2020 we had a new air conditioner installed through eNergy Solar System. They used Airamedics Heating and Air Conditioning as sub contractor. On Wednesday 10/6/2022 we woke up to a huge mess. We had a large water leak coming from the ceiling. Discovered that the backup drip pan for our air conditioner condenser was FULL of water and overflowing. It took 2 days to talk to a live person at Airamedics. A tech did not arrive at our house until AFTER 5PM on FRIDAY 10/8/2021. From Wednesday to Friday Airamedics didn't even consider it an emergency to have water pouring down a wall. The tech was able to jerryrig things so water would drain the way it is supposed to. He said the drain lines were completely dry. He also discovered that the unit was NOT LEVEL. On Monday 10/11/2021 he brought a co-worker with so they could level this 300-400 POUND condenser. After calling Airamedics DAILY this week... a manager, Bob, called us today. Finally. AGAIN... with the weekend on us. AND said that "SOMETHING " must have crawled into , (literally the crawl space attic... where you can NOT stand up)... and that "SOMETHING" "MOVED the unit. So therefore, they refuse to repair the extensive ceiling and wall damage from the water. SO...SOMETHING MOVED A 300-400 POUND UNIT WITH NO EVIDENCE OF SCRATCHES ON THE FLOOR? Brandon at Airamedics saved the day! We own a 20+ year old home with 2 A/C units, both of which are original. We've been bracing ourselves for the day when one or both bit the dust. It had appeared that our downstairs unit finally did just that! We scheduled the service through our home warranty company, and the following day we had a scheduled appointment. When Brandon arrived, he was polite, cheerful, and asked a few questions before getting underway. (I was totally unhelpful - I know absolutely nothing about A/C units except ours 'didn't work'-but that didn't seem to phase him whatsoever, thankfully). He quickly went to work diagnosing the problem. Before I knew it, cold air was once again blowing through our downstairs vents, and Brandon was wrapping up. He explained everything he did in a way that I understood ( I even learned a few things ), without being condescending or making me feel dumb. And when I was preparing for the bad news about the price, I was pleasantly surprised to find that he had resolved the issue, and we were not going to have to fully replace the unit (not yet, at least)! He also recommended a maintenance protocol to ensure we get the most out of the remaining life of our units, so we can hopefully avoid the cost of fully replacing our units as long as possible. Generally, service calls are awkward and result in a hit to the paycheck. Today, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy, pain-free (financially), and informative the experience was. (I also appreciated that Brandon came 'masked-up', as we have a child with an auto-immune disorder.) 18 days without air conditioning in Arizona... We had to work with this company through our warranty company. Sometimes you get a good result - sometimes not so much. We filed our paperwork with warranty company but not not receive a call back for a few days.. then it was 4 days later before we saw a technician... then it was over 10 dats before the part for the AC arrived in town. The warranty company said there was a problem with the way the AC company ordered the part (compressor) and honestly who knows...not sure about the truth there but when the part arrived it was not a manufacturers part but an LG Korean part. This company was not helpful in sorting out if the Korean part was acceptable or not. Finally got compressor installed and they handed me the bill for the R22 Freon for $70 a pound. I was on the fence about this company - trying to decide if it was warranty company or AC Contractor - but that bill set me off. Buyer we aware... the first tech who came out told us $18 a pound then they charged us $70... I researched online and on the high side it was $35. A pound but more generally around $15. Update: We'd been having some further trouble with one of our thermostats since the original troubleshooting and repair, with the unit mysteriously cycling on and off. Again, since this is a vacation property for us, it was critical that we got the issue resolved 1) as soon as possible and 2) while we were actually in town. Let me start by saying my Air Conditioning Systems were working great before the following occurred: I contacted OneGuard Home Warranty on April 15, 2021 to schedule my spring AC tune ups. April 27: Jose from Airamedics arrived and performed the routine tests. He informed me that, "Everything looked good but both units had a lot of dirt and dust buildup" and for $198.00 he would clean them for me. I agreed, he cleaned both units and I wrote him a check. April 28 through May 4: My wife and I did not go upstairs until approximately 11:30pm. We noticed that the thermostat was set at 74 but the temperature was 79 to 82. However, the AC was blowing cold air and the temperature was dropping so we didn't think much about it. May 5: We were watching tv upstairs early in the evening and around 7:30 pm I noticed that the AC was blowing warm air and the temperature was rising. Around 10:30 pm the AC started blowing cold air again. May 6: Around 7;30 pm, again the AC started blowing warm air but it stayed that way for the rest of the night and didn't start working properly until the next morning. The temperature rose into the 80's. May 7: Warm air early evening, cold air around 11:00 pm. May 8: The AC worked fine all day and through the night. May 9: Warm air early evening and no cold air until 3-4 am. May 10: I had delayed calling Airamedics because Covid makes me leery of having an outsider in the house and I was foolishly hoping the intermittent problem would magically correct itself. But enough was enough and I contacted Airamedics, explained the situation and they scheduled a visit by the Service Manager for May 12. May 12: The AC was blowing warm air when The technician/Service Manager arrived, checked the system and offered several theories: · too much freon - he discharged some from my system. · the April 27, cleaning of the systems caused some type of imbalance that confused the system · the air filter (that I have used for 7 years) is too dense and caused the system to work too hard, overheat and shut down - per his recommendation, I immediately ordered the cheapest and most porous filters available, paid extra to have them arrive that afternoon via Prime, and installed them that evening · might need a new "board" but that would require another work order and another $69.00 to OneGuard He got the air a little cooler before he left and informed me that if it didn't work he would, "Try and get someone back as soon as he could." He left around 4 pm and less than 20 minutes later the AC stopped blowing cold air. I called his cell phone and apprised him of the situation. May 13: Received a call from Airamedics customer service at 9:08 am. Since my system was a Lennox they could only replace it with a Lennox part and 3) after finally getting the approval from the warranty company (OneGuard) they were looking everywhere for the part. May 15: Jose, the original technician from Airamedics, arrived and installed a new fan motor on the outdoor unit. After installing the part, he checked and rechecked the air temperature, pressure and freon levels. Everything seemed to be working well. Unfortunately, before he had a chance to drive away the AC started blowing warm air again. He came back inside, verified that the AC indeed was not working, and decided that the unit needed another part. At that time he installed another part to "boost" the fan and the AC once again started operating properly. He also added freon to the unit to raise it back up to the original levels it was supposed to be before the Service Manager had lowered it on May 12. He finally left approximately 2-2:30 with the unit apparently fixed. Unfortunately, I had to text him at 3:49 pm and inform him that the unit was once again blowing warm air and the temperature was rising quickly. His reply was that he had forwarded my message to his manager and that he was sure someone would contact me Monday, May 17. May 17&18: Not even the courtesy of a call from Airamedics. AC still intermittent warm and cold. May 19: Called OneGuard shortly after 10 am and informed a Mr. Lopez of the problem with his vendor. I also sent him an email with a copy of this journal so he would have a record of exactly what has transpired to date. Mr. Lopez assured me that he would contact Airamedics and get back to me. At the end of the day, not even the courtesy of a call from Airamedics nor an update from One Guard. AC still intermittent warm and cold. May 20 &21: Not even the courtesy of a call from Airamedics nor an update from One Guard. AC still intermittent warm and cold. I am posting this review in a last ditch effort to avoid legal action. I just want my AC to work as reliably as it did before OneGuard and Airamedics "serviced" my system. In summary, I paid over $300.00 to OneGuard and Airamedics combined to take a perfectly functioning AC unit and render it frequently inoperative during the hottest days of the year. read more

Hired Airamedics to install a mini split system in my garage. Had some issues with it initially but they were responsive and came back out in less than 4 days and had it up and running properly. They even showed great patience and professionalism as I was getting aggravated assuming this was going to be an all too common "its paid for, now it's your problem" situation. That wasn't the case. They made it right. Hopefully it works as well when it's 115 out as it does now. Well, the first hot day and the 2 ton mini split that Joe said would work, doesn't cool my garage below 88 degrees after running at 70 for 2 hours. I should've asked for an actual temp it would cool to because technically, it "works" but only to 88....which isn't how "I want it to" as Joe put it. When I got my initial quote it was for a 2 ton. I asked about what size the manual j formula called for and Joe said it called for a 2.5 ton and he'd be happy to install one for an extra $1000 but also thought the 2 ton would suffice. During this conversation lack of garage insulation was mentioned and I was offered to be up sold for $800 at a discount for attic insulation. This is something I can do myself so, obviously I declined and planned on doing it this winter as I was told it would still perform well. I moved forward with the purchase under the impression that the unit would cool my shop until I insulate and then it'll cool even better. I should've asked for more specific performance criteria. To wrap it up I'm out over 4K for a system that doesn't cool my shop below 88 on a hot day. Not feeling satisfied with my purchase in the least. An ideal situation would've been for Joe to shoot straight with me and say something like "don't drop 4K on this until you insulate" instead of "yea it'll work. Maybe not exactly how you want it to, but it'll work" I'm removing one star because I feel they could've been more forthright on the performance of the product and another star based off the fact that I have a 4K dollar paper weight hanging off the side of my house. On the same token I should've asked more specific questions on my end. read more

Airamedics was assigned to fix our A/C by our Home Warranty Company. While the service reps that came out appeared to be very knowledgeable and were very polite, the A/C is once again not working only three weeks later. I called Airamedics and they have refused to come back and look at the A/C unit as it's "not profitable". I now have to pay another company to fix what they didn't fix correctly. I would stay far away from this company if you want to work with someone that actually stands behind their work. I have never been more dissatisfied with a company or service before. read more

Our AC went out, One Guard Home Warranty sent out Airamedics. It's been 3 weeks and 4 visits and ac still not fixed. We have 5 kids oldest is 9 and still no concern to get AC fixed for us. They have incredibly green staff, and when senior tech was supposed to come out he was sick? The tech that came out rather than fixing tried upselling us a new system through them? Also all coolant levels were perfect until Airamedics came to our house, and on third visit tech said all coolant was gone? He wanted $50/ pound to refill and we needed 9 pounds. This experience has been worse than going to a mechanic. I wanted to be sure all were aware. Follow up to owner response We all know this kind of owner. Bully, has to have it his way, or he screams. No wonder his staff was talking negatively about him when at our house. If he would have shown half this kind of passion regarding the service he provides we would have AC. Since he wants to keep this going I decided to really breakdown my experience. You all can decide if you want Boss Bully coming to your house. First visit:week 1 Tech made sure all coolant levels were at acceptable level. All levels were full on all 3 units. Josh mentioned we had 4 AC units. Clearly he pays as much attention to detail as his staff. Then tech felt like he repaired system and left. Second visit:week 2 Same tech, very green, all coolant levels full. This visit it was the fan blade, changed that out, I was not feeling cold air coming out, tech said it would take 5-6 hours??? Cold air never came out? Third visit- week 3 We were told since green tech couldn't get it fixed they would send senior tech. Joe never showed. We finally got a call from office saying Joe called 3 times? We never received a call from Joe? I did however receive call from front office saying Joe came and left? Terrible communication, we had to re-schedule. So now we have terrible field service, and terrible communication. Fourth visit- Week 4 All confirmed Joe senior tech would come out, and would call an hour before coming to our house. Never got a call, different tech showed up. Today after he worked for about 30 min. he came in and said all the coolant was gone out of AC unit? He said there was a hole in the coil and he was going to fix it, and charge would be $50/pound? How many pounds needed? 9 he replied. So wait 2 weeks ago all coolant levels perfectly fine and today you want $450 for coolant? I said go ahead and fix it. Then tech came in and said AC motor broken? That's when he said one guard has only replaced 1 AC unit since he has been there, he could get me a quote of what they would pay out and I could buy another AC unit from him??? That's when we decided to fire Airamedics. Josh got many things wrong in this story. They didn't walk away from this job, Josh was fired. Clearly lots going on, most unfortunate thing is we are still without AC, and my 5 kids haven't slept well in 4 weeks. Alot to digest here, alot of AC companies in AZ. Do not use this one if you actually want to get your AC working again. read more

Airamedics service is wonderful. Elias came to my house for a heating and air-conditioning issue. He was very professional, and wore a mask the whole time he was here. He fixed my issue over two visits as a new fan needed to be ordered. He offered space heater to tide me over to the next visit if I needed one. Our A/C went out and our home warranty company sent out Airamedics to diagnose the problem and repair it. It is 17 yrs old. We called our home warranty last night and this morning I received a call at 7:40 am to let us know that they would be out that same morning between 8am and noon. I explained I had an apt with my car dealership at 11:30am and was moved to the first call of the morning because of it. Our technician Jacob called at 8:36 to let us know that he would arrive in 25 minutes. What a breath of fresh air and guess what..he arrived when he said he would! A professional A/C repair from our Home warranty Co what a surprise! Jacob arrived and was very professional. Went up on the roof and got to work. He told us there was a leak somewhere in the system and it could cost $$$ for freon because the A/C needed some to determine where the leak was. He went back up and notified us that he found it right away. Then he went over all our options. No pressure, just a good, honest diagnosis of our system. We decided to replace the unit at a reasonable cost and we were told they would be out this week or next Monday. Jacob answered all the questions he could honestly. If he didn't know the answer he said so. So much appreciated in light of what we've been through with other contractors. He had Joe from the company call us to go over all questions and the price stayed the same as what Jacob had said! Installation happens Friday, this is Wed. Our Home Warranty company had sent out Airamedics. Jose the tech was great. Office staff was out apparently and because of that, nothing is getting done and we had to follow up. The person we spoke to at Airamedics- Tina, said she was new & couldn't really help. I asked for ph#'s and emails of someone who could help, and we were told there aren't any except for the main yahoo email account. So, no communication at all from them. there is only 24-48 hrs for Airamedics to send reports to One Guard and there is nobody there to do it. Bobby called us and told us we needed to "give them a break" because they're having office manager issues (Bobby stated they "hadn't heard from the office manager - she might be in the hospital" is what he said). Hopefully the manager is okay, but this looks to be a culture issue because they push back on the customers for their mismanagement. Bobby said now he wanted to send a 2nd tech out (he seemed confused about the diagnosis completed by Jose). We called One Guard & canceled the work by Airamedics. We're paying an extra fee so we can get out of anything to do with Airamedics. I agree with some other reviews, they really don't seem to care and have zero sense of urgency while expecting their customers (or potential customers) to "give THEM a break." read more

Our home warranty company had Josh with Airamedics come out to check why we had no a/c from both units. Josh was friendly and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problems and gave us our options. We decided to replace both units due to them being 13+ years old and we have had constant issues with the downstairs unit since moving into the home 4 years ago. The guys Josh sent out to our home to install the new units were also polite and professional. They completed the job in one day. Unfortunately, a couple days later we started having the same problem with our downstairs unit as before. Josh came out on Saturday morning and spent over 4 hrs trying to find the leak in the copper tubing between the outside units and the rest of the system in the attic, which he had warned us may be one of the issues before deciding to replace the units. He was upfront and honest about everything. He went above and beyond to help us figure out a problem we had been dealing with for 4 years and was able to find the leak in our son's closet that was made from a nail used to attached the baseboard. Josh repaired the tubing right away and our air has been cold since. We are very happy with the service Josh and his employees provided. Thank you. I purchased a home A/C tune up on Angies list and so I didn't know exactly what kind of service to expect, however I was pleasantly surprised when the A/C technician showed up. Josh was extremely thorough and polite, and while he did mention a couple of items that might need to be addressed in the future, there was no high pressure sales tactics like I was expecting.
