Jason at the Port Angeles branch is creepy and he will fail you repeatedly. His objections to your driving will be random and subjective, rather than about driving rules that you've broken. For instance, during parking, he will say you were too close or not close enough but he will not bother to actually get out and look at the distance (or even open the door to look). If I were you, I'd go literally anywhere else for my driving test.

I checked out the reviews, the websites and I took the time to drive around Skagit, Whatcom and Snohomish counties looking for a great truck driving school - driving around their yards and snooping around. I chose TaylorMade Truck Driving School in Burlington and I have no regrets. They are not the least costly school, but the program is very thorough and anticipates all of the costs extra. They will work with you, and they won't give up on you. This made all of the difference for me. The instruction was top notch. The instructors are all very different, but they meet and talk in the mornings and at the end of each day. Each student's learning day is graded; the score cards are used as talking points between the instructors. This communication of student progress really allows for a high level of individually tailored instruction. The best part is that the lead instructor is a natural at teaching. The manager, Ramiz will talk all day long without saying anything, except maybe for a few oft-repeated racist anecdotes. We both chose the Manual Transmission course and were berated by the instructor Alex, who insisted constantly that we should give up. The equipment is failing and they do not allow you to practice in the same truck that you must take the DOL test with, setting students up for failure. Overall, we probably received half of the training hours that we were promised. Practically any other school would be preferable. It is vastly overpriced for the quality of the product provided.
