I absolutely must update my VCA rating. After my previous 3 star rating, I was contacted by Ashley…read moreT, the business owner. We talked for quite some time and she patiently listened to everything I had to say. She told me that the experience about which I wrote is definitely and emphatically not in agreement with their mission to be a source of aid to their clients and their fur babies (not her exact words, but my interpretation of what she said). So today I took my dog Ruby in for her annual checkup and could not have been happier with how I and my dog were treated. It was just like it had been for all those years before! From the wonderful young lady at the reception desk, Lani, to Bobby the vet tech, to Dr. Espinola...they once again made me feel valued and appreciated. Thank you so much!

They insisted on payment with no leeway in paying. After all that he recovered with no medication, and $1000 wasted. They used to be compassionate and caring, but a few months ago they changed, the doctors and desk techs became clinical with no emotion After my cat is gone, I will never enter this building again. I've never seen a vet that the building is so difficult to enter when disabled, up a hill. Should be a direct entrance. Taking him in one last time for probably the last time, how much will they rip me off for this, for over 40 years of having my babies put to sleep, with most vets providing low cost of no charge services, even coming by my house for the procedure.

I am once again eternally grateful that our friend recommended us this vet. Please make sure to give the beautiful hearts here kind words because they have a tough job. And they will appreciate your kindness in return. Thank you to Trixie the Bet Tech and Karen and the other sweetheart at the front desk, and especially Dr Margadant (sorry if I have the spelling wrong) and those unseen in the back for all that you do and the patience and love you show our fur family.

We went to Cornerstone vet after the mobile vet we called told us our cat had diabetes and they…read morecould not handle the followup needed. Our other vet did not tell us anything about the bloodwork; basically scared us by telling us we would have to give two shots per day or our cat would be in a diabetic coma. The place is in a shopping center (same as senor tequila in winter springs); it was clean and has two entrances, one for dogs and one for cats. They even had a separate exam room just for cats! The room we were in was very nice and comfortable, also. This vet had a completely different take on the bloodwork: that when cats are stressed, the blood sugar goes up; that since our kitty had allergies recently (she asked us), the creatine levels could be high; that the bloodwork did not show diabetes but rather could be signs of kidney disease instead; and that it's unusual for a cat to start having diabetes at such an advanced age. To make a long story short, the vet spent a lot of time with us explaining the bloodwork results the other vet had done and what they could really mean instead; made the recommendation that we get new bloodwork in a few weeks; and NOT to change anything in his diet or life at this time as he seemed to be a happy cat. At the end, the price was so much less than the mobile vet ($50). We were so relieved and grateful for the great advice and knowledge that the vet had (sorry I cannot remember her name). Cornerstone, 5 stars for you!
