I hired 916 fast moving to move four fish tanks from the inside of my home to the garage. The two tanks were 8x2x2, a 6x2x2 and a 4x1.5x2 and they moved them all within 50 minutes! I was beyond amazed how quickly they had the job done. I asked that the tanks were placed in a partial order and stacked right to each other, and they did exactly as asked. I have had experienced with movers in the past, but they were by far the quickest, detailed and clean when moving.

Everything! Our third time hai g this company for moving. This time we had used 3 Uboxes for a cross country move so we had a lot of questions and were nervous about packing them right. Jessica was very patient and answered all questions in detail. Helped with mover anxiety and she also was patient when I had to reschedule 3 times. No matter how many delays we had she made sure we had a good experience. Peter and Javier came on the day of move right on time and took right over. They managed to get everything packed in tight with nothing left behind. We're so skeptical but they got it all in. We will always use your company for any of our moves! Zero and Pedro arrived at my house swiftly and with good attitude. The service i requested was successful even though they couldn't accommodate some stuff which i didnt mind and understood. I definitely recommend this company because i originally had a company to move my items to my new house but they cancelled last minute and they came to the rescue! Very friendly and helpful. Value was great and swiftly.

WORST moving experience I ever had. I have moved for four years in a row, so I know. When they showed up, I noticed that they only sent two people to empty a storage bin and a one-bedroom apartment. The two people they sent were not up to par. Two men, one man in maybe his late thirties and another man in his late 70s, early 80s, all bent over. I never got their names. They were putting my items into a POD for me to move out of state. They did not listen to any of my directions or concerns. They did what they wanted to do. They put my items in the POD they way they wanted. Never tied anything down. I wanted my storage items in first and my home items in last, so I could get them out first when I got home. That didn't happen. They wrapped up items so weirdly. My printer was attached to the top of my dresser by the wrap. So odd. My dresser leg was broken off. My armoire leg broke. My TVs were not tied down, so one of my TVs had a huge crack in it when I went to take it out. I am so sad and angry that I hired them. I paid a lot of money for things to be broken, men to not listen to me because I am a woman. It took them over four hours to do a storage unit and a one-bedroom apartment, and they didn't finish. Be careful of who they send to your house and then charge you over $550. To reply to you: you said about my moving in June and not getting back with you. Also, the pod wasn't even delivered for three weeks I have very bad autoimmune disease. I use a cane and I can't walk around really good sometimes it depends on how my body is feeling I wake up some days feeling like the tin man. So five days after moving here, I fell and broke my wrist. Five days after that, I had surgery to put a plate in my wrist with screw. Two weeks after that I went and had x-rays done and the plate had moved. So it is not fixed and I have to have it re-broken and the plate refixed. I also hurt my back during that time and I have been in excruciating pain. I have been without my prescribed medicine from California because Iowa is a horrible state that I moved to. I've been trying to get a doctor. I've been trying to get a job. I've had a lot on my plate. I even have tried to get my car fixed because I got my car fixed right before I left and paid $4000 to get it fixed and now my engine light is on again. What the hell is that???? Yeah, I've had a fun time since I left and I'm just now getting back to you. Sorry. I don't care how long it's been your company was the worst moving company I've ever used and I would not have anyone use you or recommend you to anyone. For you not to offer any compensation for what your guys did to me? Or treated me...That's ridiculous. They took all my blankets that were on my bed and used them as things to stuff and cover things with and I said I'm gonna need those for when I move because my POD isn't gonna be here for three weeks. Well they had already put all my blankets at the very back of the POD, like I asked for them not to do so they had to go and take everything out of the POD to get to my blankets and then put everything back so that wasted about 20 minutes of them doing that. So don't tell me they didn't listen to me because I'm a woman they just walked around doing whatever the fuck they wanted. I can take pictures. I don't care if I documented it or not you know the two worthless men you sent to me and they didn't do it. I said. I am a woman and I had a witness there, and I can prove that they didn't listen to me. My friend was helping them put boxes in there to be faster. He also had to help me finish up because they couldn't finish up. Horrible service you guys have and horrible reply you sent back to me. Your customer service just lacking too. I can call the pods and have the guy that dropped the pod off give me a written statement saying that when he dropped it off it was horrible when he opened it. He said nothing was tied down like you're supposed to have it. My TVs were the front they weren't even wrapped in anything no special anything. Just sitting naked. . Your men knew it was time to leave and they wanted out of there and be done. I know it was a hot day. It was like 100°. I am not happy and I think you guys should give me back some of my money. Ridiculous .

This is perhaps the best moving service in Sacramento. Priced fairly, these movers take care of your stuff and move it FAST as their company boasts. We had some very large and heavy items which they moved with ease and without a scratch. They are very up front about charges and insurance and have no hidden fees. I have used them twice now and will use them again.

Peter & Team were amazing! Showed up right on time, were incredibly fast and efficient. Wrapped and took care of all items, and made sure everything was handled with care. I HIGHLY recommend and will absolutely use them again in the future. Jessica was also amazing and super easy to work with and was on top of all communication and very timely! Wonderful experience and prices are fair and slightly less than what I found when comparing prices to other companies around Sacramento. I communicated with the Jessica who coordinated everything. She was extremely responsive. There's no hidden fees or prices. We opted for 2 movers at $130 per hour to move items out of our 1800 square foot home in Sacramento to Del Dorado hills. It started at 9am and didn't finish until 7pm. Didn't realize how much stuff we had, only thing I wish I did was select an additional mover. One main thing that I truly appreciate is how they took the time to properly wrap items such as the dressers and any pieces with corners that could easily get damaged. They know how to pack everything in the truck to ensure items are placed correctly without damaging anything. The workers/movers were extremely professional and continuously checked myself and my husband to ensure the items were placed correctly and if we wanted it moved they were willing to move the items to a different location in the new home. I would recommend this company.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Planning, estimate/quote: I communicated with Jessica to plan my move from a 2 bed apartment to a house and she was very thorough with their services and expectations. She sent a confirmation and reminder for the day of my move and also let us know who'd be helping me. Packing, moving, unloading: Alex and Zhao were the two that helped with the actual moving process. Alex was also very communicative and always made sure to confirm with me on what to pack and where to unload after moving. Him and Zhao made it look so easy to load their giant moving trailer and really did things pretty efficiently. They wrapped everything that looked fragile with either plastic wrap or a moving blanket and made sure to also tape it. When they started unloading, they also put down some covers to make sure the dolly's weren't messing up the floor. How long: It took them about 4.5 hours to load the trailer, move, and then unload everything. My wife and I did some packing beforehand (mostly kitchenware, closet stuff, and tech), so it would have been longer if we had them pack everything. However, I thought they did a fantastic job and worked faster than expected. I really appreciate and thankful their work and would recommend using their service!

I have moved from coast to coast and across the Pacific Ocean and this is the first time I've been absolutely wowed by the skill, professionalism, promptness and speed of execution by any moving company. It started with the almost immediate response online from Jessica, who was so efficient with an estimate and then provided a detailed follow up once I booked a date. I was also sent a confirmation reminder just before the scheduled date so I didn't have to wonder. Peter, Ivan and Javier showed up precisely when scheduled and after a few minute walk-around they sped through my 4 bedroom house wrapping, lifting, disconnecting appliances and packing the moving van with a degree of precision that was amazing. I missed a refrigerator (hey, moving is stressful for me‍) after they had fully loaded the truck and told the crew they could leave some other stuff behind to make room for it. Without skipping a beat, Peter told me it was no problem and it was important for customers to be happy; he rearranged the back of the truck like a magician and squeezed the errant fridge in. Presto. They did not show one bit of irritation whatsoever. When the truck arrived in Elk Grove from Yuba City, they unloaded it with the same speed (they had already been doing heavy lifting for hours) and not a SINGLE item was bumped, scraped or scratched in any way. They rapidly removed and replaced doors to get my appliances in and out and reconnected everything swiftly and competently. As you know, movers charge by the hour and this crew worked at a rapid rate without compromising the careful attention paid to my home furnishings. They are very reasonably priced compared to their competitors (I looked at a LOT of companies) but the quality of their service is top notch. Hire 916 Fast Moving immediately, you will be raving about their fantastic service and great pricing just like me. read more

I decided to hire a moving company when my daughter was moving back home after life threw her a curveball. I wanted her to be able to avoid that stress. OMG! 916 Movers are OUTSTANDING!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE!!! Not only do they "literally" roll out the red carpet when moving furniture in and out of the home, but are VERY professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Andrew and Sky picked up and delivered furniture from two separate locations in the rain ALL within 90 mins!!! Each piece of furniture was well wrapped upon arrival. I'll make this succinct. I was taken in by all the 5 star reviews. So I set up a job for them - storage unit with everything already packed to a 2 bedroom house 4 miles away. It doesn't get any simpler. On the day of moving they show up, and then change their minds. They refuse to perform the move citing a parking issue with their trailers. But the move was only cancelled once they saw the storage unit was full. They did refund the deposit but at this point I feel like I should have taken a deposit from them. Now I'm stuck without my stuff for three days while I wait on another moving company. What a joke. read more

Showed up on time and got right to work. They moved multiple washer dryers up and down stairs. They broke down our king and queen size bed frames and reassembled them at the new house. They wrapped everything to prevent scratches and dings. There was no wasted time during the move and it was 100 degrees outside. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend. read more

Alex and team were on it and went straight to business! I was surprised at how fast they were moving while still handling my items with care. I didn't have to give them any direction. I just told Alex what I needed moved and they got it done. From a 1 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor on Arden to a 2-story home in Elk Grove, everything was done in 2 hours. Absolutely AMAZING! This was my partner and I first time using a moving company and we were blown away. I reached out via YELP to get a quote and immediately received a follow up with details of prices, process, and availability. We went ahead and scheduled for 9am on Friday (weekdays are $10 cheaper). They were responsive with any questions I had. And received a text and email of all information. Promptly at 8:57am, they showed up at our door. Asked questions on what we needed to move and immediately got to work. We lived on the 3rd floor of our apt with no elevator so this was not an easy move. They carefully wrapped all our furniture and equipment to ensure no damages. They were able to move everything from our 3rd floor apt to our new house in TWO HOURS!!! EXCELLENT company to work with. Great communications throughout the whole process from quoting to the day of the move. The two gentlemen who moved our house was VERY EFFICIENT. By the time I finished giving him a tour of all the items that need to be moved, he already grabbed some smaller items on the way out and started the moving process. They got the truck and trailer (32 ft of combined cargo space) loaded and unloaded in under 4 hours. The movers are honest guys. One of the movers found a pair of wireless earbuds in our couch and he gave it back to me :). Will definitely use these guys again even for a small move! read more

Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

I didn't have that many items to move since I live in a studio, but I did have some larger furniture that I couldn't move myself-- which is why I hired movers. I picked this moving company because I thought they would be extra careful with my furniture. To my surprise, 1 of the 3 men wound up damaging 1 of my wardrobes to the extent that I now need a new one, even though it was wrapped up, and injured himself in the process. The top and back popped off, the doors are uneven, the screws are exposed, the connecting pieces are out and/or missing, the wood is chipped and broken off, and the shelves don't stay up in the wardrobe. Their customer support had the audacity to only offer $45, saying the "plan" I paid for covered $0.60/lb and estimated (with no research) that the wardrobe was 75lbs. Wrong! The wardrobe is actually worth $200 and is over 100lbs, so they are already lowballing me. It shouldn't matter what "plan" I paid for; if YOU break it, YOU need to make it right and replace the wardrobe! I could have saved myself $300-$400 and a wardrobe by getting movers through Task Rabbit, which I've done in the past and had no issues with. Definitely never booking with them again. The only positive experience was the friendliness of the movers themselves.

Once we got to Sacramento, they started unloading everything. The move was to the 3rd floor of an apartment building with no elevator and down the hall from the stairs. Though it was a tough move, Manny and Trey were both patient, kind, and efficient. They even cracked a few jokes, and we shared some laughs. Shortly after our conversation, she sent me an email stating that if the movers were not treated well, they could cancel the move. This completely caught me off guard because nothing in our conversation suggested that the movers were being mistreated. I responded asking where that was coming from, and she replied, "If no language, then nothing to worry about. Wishing you a great day!" I later posted a review about my interaction with her. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that my move had been canceled. The office instructed the movers to leave my belongings in the driveway. I was mortified. I called and pleaded with them to have the movers put my belongings back inside the house. I was told they would only do so if I deleted my review. To avoid being left with my belongings in the driveway, I reluctantly removed the review. We then paid the movers directly in cash for their time, as none of this was their fault. I waited over a month to post this review because it took an unusually long time to receive my deposit refund. I would be very cautious about booking this company. My experience with Paula was extremely disappointing. I don't know why she was so aggressive, but this is not the type of customer service or business practice I would ever want to deal with again.

From start to finish, the move took just under 5 hours. They made the move fun and packed while playing some old school jams! They used blankets and plastic wrap around furniture for extra padding. Not a single item was damaged! They even lower the dolly very gently when unloading boxes. They packed everything like Tetris masters into the 26ft truck and made it 1 trip. When unloading at the new house, they confirmed where we wanted each box and piece of furniture unloaded. I had such a great experience with 916 Fast Moving, specifically Gorge and Zhao! From the very beginning, they communicated clearly and let me know when they were on their way. Once they arrived, they walked through my entire apartment before moving anything so they could plan out the space in the truck. I really appreciated that level of care and attention to detail. Throughout the move, they kept me informed about the status of the items and how everything was fitting, especially since I still had a few things I was finishing packing. Jessica, the one who booked our appointment, was honest and communicative with the time frame and cost. She gave us a 30 minute courtesy call when the movers were on their way. I booked a move on the 7th of this month. The whole booking was very smooth. Jessica answered all my questions professionally and the price was very reasonable. A deposit of 50 was required when booking, and I paid it on the same day. But unfortunately, I didn't get the key to the new house on time, so I needed to postpone my move. Jessica responded to me quickly, but I thought the scheduled date was fully booked. Their business is really good, so I had to cancel. Jessica immediately refunded my entire deposit. They had good prices, were available on short notice, called and offered to arrive earlier than planned (why YES that will be fine!), and were very efficient--skilled and fast-moving. The only (very slight) problem was caused by Zelle, since there is a limit on how much you can send to a new recipient and I had to run to the ATM to get cash at the end of the day. The movers were good sports about that and followed me to the bank. I highly recommend these folks. Make sure that you have cash for anything that exceeds the $500 zelle transfer limit to avoid end-of-day inconvenience. read more

I was amazed by every person working at this company. From (Jessica) the quick response to my initial inquiry to the communication at every stage, I was very satisfied. The movers(Sky and Tim) were also very professional and fast. They packed my furniture, bed, TV, etc. very carefully and placed them in the correct location in the new house as I requested. I recently had a long distance move from SAC area, and this moving company came through to help me move all my big bulky appliances and furniture. There were two movers and they both worked very hard. One of the movers, Alex, stood out as going above and beyond. He took apart many of my appliances and furniture, and wrapped all the tiny screws and washers together with them so carefully and diligently. Just finished my move with this company and I'm genuinely impressed. From the first phone call to the last box unloaded, everything was handled smoothly. The movers were courteous, fast, and clearly experienced -- they knew how to maneuver tight spaces without a scratch on the walls or furniture. What stood out most was their calm and professional attitude, even when the elevator broke down midway. Moving is always stressful, but they made it feel a lot easier. Alex and John moved us from El Dorado Hills to Rocklin, they were punctual, fast, experienced, and professional. They were very careful with our properties, and carefully wrapped all the furniture and other stuff, they also put the runners on the floor to protect the hardwood floor and carpet, Jessica was very responsive and prompt with the arrangement, we had a great experience and very glad that we found 916 Moving. From the time we made contact with this company, Jessica was pleasant and provided ALL of the information needed to make a decision. Very transparent with the cost. Pete and his team were exceptional! The guys worked quickly and took great care of our items. We had the BEST experience with Andrew and Saul!! Moving can be so stressful, but they seriously made the whole process so much easier for us. They were both so kind, friendly, and hardworking, and they handled all of our stuff with so much care. They were quick, efficient, and just genuinely great guys!
