916Movers! Are a JOKE. We've been moving back & forth all day because 916Movers came in with a small truck and needed at least 8' to block off just for TV's, then they told us what they would or would not take, and with a 4 hour window to work, they took the backroad instead of the freeway, & it took them 50 minutes, when it would have only taken 30 minutes on the Freeway. So, with me helping them move everything into the house we where 15 minutes over, and believe it or not; THESE A-HOLES STILL CHARGE US FOR GOING OVER BY 15 MINUTES. REALLY! They didn't use all the space in that tiny truck, took the backroad, I helped, and they still change us for going over by 15 minutes. ILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY "916Movers" TO ANYONE! I've gotten hosed previously by movers so made sure to do a little research on this one. I saw that 916 Movers were highly rated so scheduled with them for my move this past weekend. Great decision! They showed up right on time and all three of the guys were polite, friendly and very conscientious. They were extremely careful with my goods and very efficient. The move was finished earlier than I anticipated and they made sure to have me to do a final walk through to make sure everything was in its place. I've been struggling with a severely pinched nerve in my back and have been very limited in my ability. They even loaded and unloaded my pickup truck with breakable a and other items that were not permitted on the truck. I could not be happier with the service and price and would absolutely recommend them when you are in need. read more

This was the first time I have ever used movers.. They were great to work with and very fast and helpful. No hidden fees. They moved everything in my studio quickly. My TV fell in the truck which damaged the TV (still works) and my coffee table, but they gave me a discount to make up for it. These guys are the best in the greater Sacramento area. My parents recently bought a home and needed movers with a lot of their furniture. We were able to get a very reasonable estimate for their services. Luckily, we weren't moving far from our previous home, so the gas fee was not a problem. This was the first time I had ever used movers. I called them because of the great reviews on here. Steve was very helpful when I called to inquire about the cost. Jazz and Aaron were our movers. They showed up on time and started working as soon as I signed the document. Both guys were very friendly and worked really hard. They were very careful with all of your belongings. They wrapped our TVs and took caution when moving all of our furniture. The price was exactly as quoted and there were no hidden fees. I would absolutely use them again when/if we move in the future. These guys were great. As I was trying to pick out movers, I was a little skeptical of any movers we were trying to select. Would they no show or reschedule? Would they damage our items or new home? Would they be lazy and run up the hourly rate? From the moment Jesse and his crew arrived (on time with a call prior to showing up), they busted their butts and worked non stop. They went above and beyond, moving things we weren't expecting they would say yes too (potted plants and gym weights). They wrapped all our wood and glass furniture and loaded up the very large moving truck. Once everything was loaded, they drove to our new home and started moving everything in the home immediately. It was a new home and I was worried about the movers scratching the freshly painted walls when they were going upstairs, but they did a fantastic job being careful with everything. They finished moving everything in 4.5 hours in the sweltering 95 degree heat. Very happy with the work they did for us. read more

We used 916 movers for a move that was 13 miles. We also needed a moving date changed quickly and 916 movers was there to help. We had 3 guys and the guy in charge was VERY NICE. They did a FANTASTIC job! My wife and I were extremely pleased and would definitely choose them again. A three man crew showed up for my move. Two of the guys were great and hard workers. One man showed up late in his own car. He took multiple breaks and even the other crew members were calling him on it. I went to pick up pizza for their lunch and beer for when the job was over. I came back to find boxes clearly marked kitchen in the garage. The one man who was late had a real attitude about moving the boxes to the rooms marked on the boxes. He also grabbed a beer and drank it before the job was done. I told him that was for when the job was done. Next time I would just lock it in my car until they were finished. I found boxes stacked 7 feet high in the kitchen with the crystal and China clearly marked at the bottom of the stack. Plenty of floor space to not stack boxes so high when I am 5'5". Everything is unpacked and the remote control for my adjustable bed is gone along with a small electric chain saw that goes on a pole. The pole is here, no saw. Bed remote was under warranty and easily replaced. Unfortunately one person with a bad attitude would prevent me from using or recommending this company. They dump and run. Beware. Too bad my things were missing. Update-I spoke with the owner on the day of the move and he either wasn't listening or blew me off, so I see no point in discussing this again. I think his defensive response says it all, the customer is wrong. read more

I checked other reviews and decided to take a chance with 916Movers. As others have stated, they were on time, took care in moving our items (some were large and handmade), and I even observed them working together to lift, "set", etc. One mover even told me where the outlets were when he put large furniture down against the wall in the new house. I was slightly hesitant when I first saw 4 men scrunched in the cab of the truck pull up to the house...but I have to say that they were professional, courteous, worked hard and long hours, and just kept moving. We offered them lunch, waters throughout the day and a generous tip, all of which they appeared grateful for. We ended up needing a second day of moving and requested 916Movers again, but they were booked. So, we went with another company having to do with "hungry teachers" that didn't even compare. I will never call a different company again (not that I plan to move for a long while). read more

Read my review, it was based on YOUR horrible customer "service" over the phone. All aspects of your business are potential things to review. And how I was treated during that initial phone call was terrible. Calling me back to whine about a Yelp review was atrocious.
