Currently standing in looong line. From what I counted there are 11 people in front of me & I have people behind me. Everyone talking about how there is only one lane open. I see one other employee in the isle the line is going down but shes calmly "organizing" shelfs. As Im writing this review the fam of 3 in front of me put their stuff down and left. Wow! They are losing customers.This is ridiculous!!!! So dissapointed. Are there only two employees working on a Monday evening? The line behind me is getting longer and longer. Overall it's clean and great, stocked all the time BUT they do not check their bathrooms frequently and I'm shocked by why I had walked into. I was waiting for a stall to open up as there's only 2. The handicap stall was completely obliterated by somebody and nobody had cleaned it up so I don't know how long the stall had been like that, but it is disgusting and they really should frequently do bathroom checks. read more

We have been regulars to this location. Loved it. Then prices went up and didn't know what was what price. Nothing was clearly marked. Now it feels like 90% of the store is $1.49 or more. I understand inflation, but these mark ups are insane. I do not find value shopping here any more. There is a major problem with product labeling here. The shelf will say one price and the product rings another. The staff will not go look or change the price. The staff used to be friendly but that culture has changed as well. There is an African American girl that works when they close. She tends to argue back a little when there is a discrepancy with an item or you choose that you do not want something. I don't want the item. Just accept that and don't try to convince me otherwise. Just move along with my transaction. Overall, this is NOT a 99 Cent Only store. Inflation has changed that, sure. This feels more or a Dollar General or Family Dollar just with worse products. My wife and I have chosen to no longer visit this store. The mislabeling of products is really what got us. Stopped by for the first time in a few years. We weren't in there for longer than 3 minutes. We went through a few aisles and realized that almost every other item was $3+. I miss when 99 cents stores actually carried things that were 99 cents. Now you have to search through each aisle to find something for that price. I'm definitely a fan of the 99 Cents Only Stores! Everything in the entire store is $1.00 or less. Yes, $1.00, not .99cents. They all switched to rounding up to the dollar pricing a few years ago. I was a little disgruntled for a while, but I got over it. I was so happy to see this store as I was out and about! I'm from California and wasn't sure there were any out here. This store is a bit older. The store looked like a typical 99 Cents Only Store, meaning that it was slightly in need of cleaning and rearranging. I got some fresh (enough) produce. I passed up others that I wanted because they looked like they were past the selling date. I also got some breads. If you take your time looking over your potential purchases, you can find good things. This store is excellent for having just about everything you need or didn't know you needed! Paying items at cash register. Only had a $20 bill. Cashier, Laura, asked if I had a smaller bill. I stated no. Laura got upset and was rude. Unfortunately this store did not have friendly staffers working there...expecting you to move out of their way when they're stocking the shelves. It's unfortunate that they hate where they work but the fish stinks from the head down. Hope management realizes that staffers should greet customers when they are processing their orders to establish a good report. I came up to the check out today and asked the checker to pull her mask up to cover her nose. She refused saying that she has worked there and has not gotten COVID! I asked her again, and she refused! Needless to say, I asked for the manager and she said that she was the manager! (. My original review of this store has been deleted. It wasn't very favorable as there were a few things that needed to be taken care of: 1) Several items were at or near expiration 2) Many of the shopping carts were in need of repair 3) There was nowhere in the parking lot to return your shopping cart (no cart racks) I'm happy to say that all of these issues have been addressed. Easily the best store on the planet! Every trip I save big bucks. From produce to chips and drinks. Also many garden tools housewares, even auto and handy man items. This store really has it all. Amazing how much you can get for a dollar. Some items could be 1.99 or 2.99 but those items are easily 2 or 3 times the price at other stores. Ughhh this is the WORST 99 cent only store. It is so freaking dirty. Seriously, who manages this place??? The workers are down right lazy and rude. I wonder if they keep their home the same way?! This place is huge! They have a whole grocery section, including some fresh (ish) produce. My grandpa recently scored boxes of Christmas ornaments 9 for 99 cents in the after Christmas sale, so now he's set for next year. My favorite buy a while back was a Topsy Turvy tomato plant holder. I grew all kinds of herbs along with my tomatoes - that was a great summer! Love this store. read more

Only giving 1 star because you have to. I purchased $75 worth of party decorations. When I got home I realized I had gotten too much for the amount of kids attending the party and that most of my items were way over $1. I went to pick up my daughter from school and took the items I wanted to return, unopened and with my receipt. I didn't anticipate any problem. I was sorely mistaken. They have a sign that says Exchange or Store Credit within 9 days of purchase. No where does it say "NO REFUNDS." I do not shop at this store - ever- because you have to pay close attention to what is and isn't $1. So, even though nothing was open or damaged and i had my receipt and it was the same day, the assistant manager REFUSED to give me a refund for $33.16. Nevermind the fact that I still spent $40+ dollars there. These GREEDY, greedy people could not be reasoned with. I explained that I do not shop at the store and also that they do not have a "no refunds" policy posted anywhere. She still refused. Not to mention, she was the assistant manager, the ACTUAL manager was not in the store, and she had to have a cashier walk her through the return process. Terrible, TERRIBLE customer service. I will not ever be going back there. Update: The corporate office just called me back because I filed a complaint. She sat there and argued with me just like the "assistant manager" at the store. They don't care that they don't have a NO REFUND policy posted and they have the most HORRIFIC customer service I have ever witnessed. Absolutely disgusted. read more

Always got what i need when i dont have much cash...even when i do they have cute trinkets and accessories. They always have mi sour mamba candy and have deals on just about everything! They have socks and beanies in the winter and sandals and sunglasses in the summer. Fun to shop!! read more
