Not a bad stop for a quick bite out. They've changed alot in their menu so it's better than it was. Good apps, salads and most of their entrees are good. Drinks are weak though...I think it's better than Applebees/Chili's/ ruby Tuesday's type of chains. Definitely better than bicycle chains, key chains and 2 chainz. Minor improvement in food, and I do mean minor. My dining companion requested that I go do a curbside pick-up, so I did. We both chose the exact same dinner, so the comparison will be to the photo on the website and past experiences only. The dinners were far from piping hot and fresh, sadly the norm based on past experiences and a plethora of excuses from management over the last ten or so years. Both biscuits were extremely dry and clearly over-baked. Rather than a the lovely golden hue of my home-baked scratch biscuits (or even the desperation, rush-job refrigerated tube biscuits) we had dark brown "P-Bruins Practice Pucks. Yes, folks, now you know where the pucks used in practice sessions come from! This proved equally disastrous due to the shocking amounts of gristle and clumps of disgusting congealed chicken fat we both encountered. Granted, a value priced menu item is not expected to have stellar quality, however I see no valid reason why it should be such poor quality........at any price. The food went directly into a very warm vehicle for its short ride home, so there was absolutely no excuse for the internal temperatures of both the mashed potato and the chicken to be hovering at barely 105 degrees, far below a safe serving/eating temperature. Yes, I used my properly calibrated food thermometer to check the temperature before we ate. It will likely be a very long time, if ever, before restaurant gets another chance. Think twice before you invest your dining dollars at this venue, there are far too many superior LOCAL dining options where you can invest in our LOCAL economy, strengthen the fabric of life in Rhode Island and enjoy a delightful dining experience. read more

Ok, so I'm aware that this is a chain and not to expect too much but..... We, along with another couple, went for dinner this past weekend. The night started out okay with drinks being good and brought quickly. The night declined quite a bit from there. First, we orders some appetizers and besides the fact that there were only about 10 other tables of people in the restaurant, took about 20 minutes to get to our table. When the buffalo chicken tenders arrived, they were waaaaay overcooked and just simply awful. We ate about 1/2 the order between the 4 of us and left the rest for trash. I didn't bother reporting the bad food since I was looking forward to our dinners anyways (My Mistake). The dinners took another 20 minutes to arrive and were brought by 2 kitchen people who simply dropped the food onto the table, never asked if we needed anything further - just left. Our waitress was busy most of the night talking to the bartended and not paying any attention to her tables. Her name was Ashley and she needs a lesson in customer service and smiling every now and then. I'd like to not feel as though I'm bothering my waitress when asking for another drink that was about 45 minutes overdue! Meanwhile, we never saw her from the time she brought our appetizers until we were almost finished eating our dinners. Never came by to ask if we were all set or if we needed anything. Just to see if we needed anything boxed. Furthermore, I needed vinegar for my fries so after waiting about 5 minutes, I finally walked up to the bar to see if I could get some there but apparently, the bartender was too busy with Ashley to hear my repeated requests for help. The hostess who was seating people actually left her podium to come to the bar and ask me if I needed something. She got the vinegar for me. The Backyard BBQ dish was awful. The chicken looked like a frozen patty and the ribs were just dry and gross. What a waste for $15.78!!! GARBAGE. The kicker came when the check came.... they actually charged me 79 cents for a slice of cheese... I kid you not. I saved the receipt as proof. A $95.00 meal for 4 people and you have the nerve to charge 79 cents for a slice of cheese??? TERRIBLE FOOD, TERRIBLE SERVICE. Will NEVER, EVER, EVER go here again! Where to start.... this was one of our go to restaurants but even before Covid the food has gone down hill. The last two times we went the food was just bad. Not cooked well, bland, and just not restaurant standards. I would compare it to fast food but at least McDonalds feeds the family of 3 for under $50 and the food tastes good. I haven't been inside the restaurant in a while so I can't comment on much else but the food alone earned this rating. The final straw was last night. My mother went to warm up some mashed potatoes and let me start by saying sometimes a strand of hair my end up in food. Should it happen no but does it sure. That I understand and accept but when I tell you the end of the fork had a ball of hair on it that came out of the mashed potatoes. I almost lost it, the only reason I didn't bring it back was the restaurant was closed for the night. This is a difficult time due to Covid I get it but it's not an excuse for bad food and terrible cleanliness. Won't be going back unless current management clears out the kitchen staff. Disgraceful to say the least. I'm not interested in discounts or even for an apology but I will gladly try to save someone else from experiencing that if I can. read more

I've been going here for a number of years. The food is pretty decent and the prices are fair. The service is generally pretty quick as well, taking less than ten minutes for the food to arrive. If you are looking for someplace for a quick lunch this is worth checking out. A greater attention to detail while preparing the food and turning down the music volume help the dining experience quite a bit. read more

Basic chain food. The staff is friendly. Chicken pot pie is delicious. Have had it several times in house and as takeout. Nothing else is really worth trying. Chicken kabobs are dry. Asked for a grilled cheese sandwich one time and it put the place in panic mode. It isn't possible for them to serve that, even though they had sliced bread and cheese. Writing this as I sit in the booth at the restaurant. Horrible experience, I think our waitress is on something. She took our drink order and asked if we wanted waters while we waited for the drinks. We said sure, but the never came. 10 minutes later the drinks arrived. We ordered dinner at the same time and I wanted a side salad, she asked if I wanted it before dinner and I said yes. 15 minutes later, no salad and our food arrives. The whole time we also had no silverware so we couldn't even check if our steaks were cooked right. I also mentioned I did not get my salad and she said oh I thought you had an appetizer. So she went to get the salad, we also said we need silverware. She came back with the salad and still no silverware. A few minutes later she finally came back with silverware, then took off again in a zombie like trance. I swear she was on something. We cut into the food which is now kind of cold and the steak tips were so raw I swear I heard a heartbeat. I pull into the take out spot about a half hour after calling and I had to sit and wait at least 10 minutes. Finally a worker came out and asked my name and what I ordered...(then why ask what car I'm driving??) anyway she goes back in and take another 10 minutes to bring my food out..and stands around like she deserves some big tip...get outta hereeee with that. I ordered the All star burger which comes with fries and cole slaw...no cole slaw in my order. That's so annoying when you order something and they're too dumb to put it in with your food. Ugh. Anyway the burger was really good and the fries too. If they can get their service better then I would go back but after all the little things that went wrong there is just no reason to order again when there's so many other options out there. read more

I'm surprised at the lower ratings. The menu selections are great - anyone can get a meal they want. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The price was very good. The service great! We came on a Saturday evening with a toddler. They were incredibly attentive. They brought his food out in about 2 minutes. The food is staple American with an emphasis on grill/barbecue. I had a $9.99 lunch special that was decent, the steak a little overdone. I didn't want a starch so got two vegetable dishes. What's cool is the coupon offers. They'll come in the mail, so take advantage of the free appetizer one. Service is good for a family restaurant chain. Nothing special, but cheap and a place where you can sit and talk a bit without feeling they need the table turned over every ten minutes. read more

One of if not my favorite "chain" restaurant. Food is consistently good. Prices are reasonable. We love the mozzarella moons and potato skins for apps. The menu changes seasonally which is good. I do miss the Captain's Combo though. You really can't go wrong with so many great choices on the menu and the staff is very welcoming. Vermont Cheddar burger is delicious. Would LOVE to see a location return to the East Greenwich/Warwick area. There was one a few years ago but for some reason closed. read more

I would like to give this place 0 stars if I could the food took a longer time than average to come out. My burger was overly salted and the cheese was not american like I ordered. The fries were salty and unappetizing, tasting greasy and soggy. The lettuce and tomato on the side were both old and soggy and wilted. My mom's salad she said the dressing was salty and the overall presentation of the salad looked disgusting. I had to ask for new silverware because ours looked dirty and they brought us "new" silverware that looked dirty as well. Everything from trying to park outside this place to entering the restaurant to trying to eat here was just terrible. I was telling my mom I wouldnt serve this food to my dog because it is so salty and doesnt taste fresh. We were waiting awhile for the check and asked someone to get our waitress he said that he would and we saw him walk away and continue what he was doing. I am 58 years old, and in all my life I have NEVER had worse service than I experienced tonight. My husband and I went in to get out of the heat and have dinner, and we specifically went here because for the lobster roll. We get there and there is no air conditioning and it was unpleasantly warm in the restaurant. We decided to sit at the bar. It was not very busy, however it took the bartender over 5 minutes to notice us sitting there and take our drink order-we were just drinking soda and we had the menus out so obviously we were interested in ordering food. Another 15 minutes goes by and we could not get the bartender's attention to order food. Finally, she comes over just as we were about to give up and walk out. We put our food order in. She never came back to see if we needed refills on our soda-seemed like she went out of her way to ignore us. In the meantime, several other parties come up to the bar 20 minutes after we had ordered, order their food and drinks and they are served their drinks, given refills and their food comes out. The thing is my salad came right out, without the dressing on the side like I requested, but going on nearly 40 minutes still no food, and not once did the bartender come over and ask if we needed refills or check with the kitchen on our order. Finally, my husband gets here attention and asked when our food was coming. She goes over to the kitchen, and from the exchange with the kitchen which was right behind where we were sitting, it was obvious she had never put our food order in. A whole f-ing hour sitting there and no food. The bartender had a pissy attitude, was rude when we asked about our food and basically ignored us the entire time we were there.
