Go to the 99 in revere and there is 15 open tables and they tell me 15 minutes wait I ask half the tables are empty she tells me there only 2 servers . So I have to wait .... 3pm on a Sunday .... terrible service ....let's see have some waitress on they make 3 dollar a hour read more

Served me an actual raw cheeseburger. How do you mess up a medium rare burger? I called and the manager promised me he would send a gift card to comp my meal, i still haven't gotten it. I worked for a 99 for sometime and this restaurant is absolutely volatile. When I walked in to pick up my order the tables weren't cleaned, there was popcorn ALL OVER the floor and when I went to pick up the food the hostess walked away when I came in and I stared at my food sitting there getting cold for 10 minutes when she went to get someone to work the p.o.s sales system. The food seems pretty consistent. The fish n chips is great at 10.99 great value. My only complaint this a Sunday night is the cluster fk of service. They were way understaffed. Our server was a sweetheart even though she was worked like a government mule. read more

This place is great ! Great atmosphere, delicious food and great service every time. I have eaten here a hundred times ( I live close by ) and have never had a bad experience. Also if the Red Sox win you will get a free kids meal with the purchase of an entree. Can't beat that. This location also has a charging station for your electric car. read more

Stopped by for an early dinner after a day at the beach. We were promptly served at the bar but after that the bartender did not check in on us at ALL. She forgot a number of things that customers asked her for and laughed it off. She also did not write our orders down and one of the orders was incorrect but she was nowhere to be found to tell her and then dessert was wrong as well. The portions are getting less and less but yet the prices keep going up. Every time I go in the service is so very slow. read more

I have it two stars because they took the stuff off the bill without making me ask. Otherwise this experience was absolutely terrible. We ate at the bar like we always do at the location we regularly visit. The bartender couldn't be bothered to pay attention while we were ordering, walked away while we were still talking more than once..... Rude is the only way to described it. Next the food comes out wrong not just once but twice. We were done. I accepted an offer for chicken fingers and asked her to pack them to go since my husband had reached his tolerance level and was waiting in the car. Out they came on a plate with the sauce on the side in the little cup. I asked for a box because i wanted them to go, she asked away with a bit of a huff and came back with the box, dumped the chicken I and asked away. Big surprise, no dip on the side to go. Enough is enough. We won't go back but one good thing came out of it..... We now know just how awesome the crew in Salem really is. read more

The food is always delicious, the hostess is ALWAYS polite. I generally get take out, haven't dealt with waiters but really enjoy the take out experience from ordering, to taste, to politeness of hostess. Had lobster rolls before, salmon, burgers, enjoyed all of it. read more

My family and I have been coming to this 99 for years. Actually, we came two/three times this week. We love it there. However, today we were in a rush and went to the 99 to go. We waited there and some woman came up to the car with an attitude. My mom said to me that she was there the other day and this woman wasn't happy to be working and was really rude to her. When she got up to our car, she immediately had an attitude and when my mom signed the piece of paper and she rolled her eyes. Another nice woman came out, and handed us our food and told us to enjoy. It's just not professional to have workers who don't care about the customers. read more

My family and I frequently eat at the 99 restaurant in Revere, Ma. I was shocked to here about my families experience there today. There was a women who treated my family so rude that she had another employee service my family. My family did the 99 Togo this women rolled her eyes at my wife and kids made them all feel uncomfortable. She seemed to carry some sort of negative attitude from a separate experience prior to this one. Obviously she has the customer service skills of a true professional, NOT! Management wake up you have loose cannon on board and you need to fix the problem. I personally will not be returning to this establishment until she is terminated. There are a lot of great employees at this location. So my conclusion is hiring manager and training manager must have been on vacation the week this women was hired. 99 please fix the problem! I got there first and the waitress was very nice. I got a drink and appetizer before my friend arrived and she even asked what they looked like so she could bring them to where I was. Service with popcorn, drinks were quick. The appetizer took a little longer but came out hot which is way better than Luke warm food. I've never gotten any bad food from this 99 and they are very good about recovery for unsatisfied customers. Didn't happen this visit and hasn't happened in years, but love the service, kindness all the waiters and waitresses. Managers too. Then we ordered the fish taco's and they were delicious!!! I love them and they make them exactly how you want. I was there Wednesday 7/19 and noticed I usually get a bigger and longer piece of fish in each taco. They were very small that night. I did love how we both ordered the same thing, requesting it different and the orders were exactly right. Usually if you ask for no dressing on one thing, the other person who asked for the dressing on the same dish usually gets no dressing too. Not done intentionally, but it can happen. Not at this 99. Even sitting at the bar is fun and service great even when very busy. I have and will continue to visit this 99. I would highly recommend it! read more

Enjoyed visiting this restaurant on a Sunday evening when it was fairly busy but not crowded. My sister Lynn and I sat at the bar where we received prompt and pleasant service. The steak & salmon combo I ordered was delicious, the chowder lived up to it's reputation, and the attentive bartender kept us happy as he served up glasses of Chardonnay and Sam Adams Oktoberfest. i went to the 99 in revere last night to eat and the food was very dry..and when the manager came out to ask what happened, he acted like he didn't believe me and told me that he has never heard of anyone complain of, dry chicken breast!! lol.. he stood there so long that my food got cold and i couldn't eat...he just kept saying that he couldn't believe that this was true..he made me feel very uncomfortable and like a child lying...i had a horrible experience there and all the food tasted dry and overcooked!! There was another review of dry chicken too so there goes the managers statement of never hearing any complaints ever read more
