Veal Parmigiana was okay. Steak tips were average, but the issue was the tiny portion of tips.. 5 very small pieces with fries. The fries were very tasty though. Waitstaff doesn't seem to care about anything. I lived in Revere for 22 years and had never visited before. Had errands to do with a friend, so decided to give it a try. If it wasn't so expensive, it would have been hysterical!!!! No special menu. We shared the steak tips for approx $23. All it included was five smallish tips, nothing else!!!!! That's a lot per tip! We got a side of veggies (requested steamed and came fried), waitress doubled as the hostess. No one else ever came in during peak lunch hours. A few people came in for takeout and got subs. Chef was busy making salads, tray upon tray covered in paper towels. Have no idea how long before someone finally came in and ordered the overpriced salads. I wouldn't want one. I complained to the waitress/hostess how dirty the windowsills were, and that the bathroom door paint was all chipped. No reasonable response. No bar, beer and overpriced wine only. The price for the five steak tips and veggies, plus one sangria for my friend, two house wines for me, with a tip, blew $71.00. Learn from my disgusting adventure.....keep out! read more

Just received my delivery and I'm so disappointed. My daughter ordered steak tips with fries and the steak was hard and fries were soggy, drenched in oil, not to mention, so looked brown. I ordered chicken broccoli ziti and it's bland. Also got an Italian cold sub, almost broke a tooth, the bread was so hard and it did not look like the picture they advertise. Mussels are never over done. Great ratio of seafood to noodles. They are generous on the seafood (some places in the North End will give you half the seafood for twice the price). So good! read more

We walked to this little corner restaurant when we couldn't get a seat at a place down the street and I'm so glad we did. The service was excellent, the food was authentic and the atmosphere was romantic. I had eggplant parm and my husband had veal parm. We shared a delish Caesar salad. Overall disappointed after hearing great things. The steak and risotto was really just steak on a huge bed of rice. The steak porcini sauce tasted like straight up wine..wasn't terrible just overwhelmingly wine flavored. We both ordered our steaks medium rare but they more tough and well done. Some of my pasta was burnt. The bread is good, the salads and stuffed mushrooms were good. Restaurant itself is cute, staff was friendly. When we arrived, we were the only table of people, and two more tables arrived after us..it took a little too long to get the food out and all three tables food came out at the same time. With appetizers and dessert we were there 75 minutes total. The entrees were delicious. Very large portions and even my picky kids liked everything. They made a chicken and pasta dish not on the menu for one of Then upon request. Asked if pasta fagioli had meat in it, said no, turns out it had meat. Vegetarian ate it and spit it out immediately. Salade de la casa was nothing special. Eggplant rolls were not good at all. Cut way too thick so they were tough to cut and chew and the dish was bland. These are basic staples that shouldn't be messed up. What a disappointment. Will never come back. I'm not one to leave reviews, but I planned a trip to boston with my family and we got a hotel in Chelsea. We got to the hotel pretty late, late enough for us to decide to just get some dinner, get some rest and tackle the city of boston in the morning instead of that night. There weren't many places around. At least not any that were in walking distance, except D'Parma. Menu seemed okay with everyone so we went. I was absolutely floored by how good the food and service was. When asked how everything was we all said 'amazing" in unison. I cant think of even one complaint. If it weren't a 15 hour drive or 2 hour flight to this restaurant from where i live, i'd go every week! Our orders: My mom got the chicken & broccoli alfredo. i got the salmon pink sauce with a side of ziti. my sister got the lobster ravioli and some fries. 2 days after we visited here we decided to do delivery. i got the d'parma salad + feta. my sister got the lobster ravioli again and we both got an order of fries. once again everything was spectacular, even through delivery. Food (1.5/2): Ordered standard Italian dishes while family was looking to eat something quick. I personally ordered carbonara. Pasta was incredibly creamy and dense. The meat was surprisingly quite generous. Portion was large as well. It's a decent pasta that is quite to be expected in terms of quality--just so-so. Bonus points just because they are generous with the ingredients. Service/wait-time/cleanliness (1.5/2): Service was good as well. Courteous, attentive to refilling water. I have used this restaurant to cater many holidays for easter I ordered a large tray of fruit dimarr and a large tray of chicken ziti and broccoli it was 115.00 for the fruit demare and 70.00 for the chicken ziti broccoli large tray when my brother picked it up and came inside with the 2 small trays I asked what was that he replied that's what they gave him called and waiter asked the chef and was told it was food for 10 in a small tray the fruit demare had 10 shrimp in it and was no way the size that came for Christmas explained it to Angela and was told it was food for 10 in a small tray I had 12 people coming to to eat no one cared Angela the waiter or chef I had to call and order pizza and calzones to make sure there was enough to eat the small trays fed about 5-6 people Run the food was good that's why 1 star I paid way to much for half trays.poor management. not professional read more

Obsessed with the D Parma Salad. I eat it once a week at work and would eat here more often if I lived closer by.

The pasta was delicious. We got the lobster ravioli and mushroom tortellini. Staff was friendly. I'm not used to soda all being canned.

If you are considering going to this restaurant, I do not recommend it. The food was so strangely bland. Like it wasn't seasoned. I ordered a chicken dish that came with tomato sauce and it was so watery it was like broth. The chicken was cooked nicely and I ordered tortellini with it. The tortellini were good and tasted fresh but again, no seasoning. My date's pasta wasn't cooked enough. I know what al dente is and this was undercooked. I understand you can send food back but it doesn't change bad food in the moment. Her sauce was thicker but not at all good. No flavor at all. Her wine also tasted like it had been open too long and had gone bad. There was no one in the place (us and another couple). The servers were nice and attentive and the place was clean. That's really the only good thing I can say. Never been to the other locations so can't speak to that. read more

Tonight around 7pm, we came here to have dinner. I desperately wanted a good plate of pasta, so we figured we'd try it out after looking at the menu online. I am very happy with the experience we had here. The place is bright and clean, and had light music. We were sat near a beautiful decorative door. I felt like I was on my first date with my boyfriend ha! They provide warm bread and butter, a salad came with my entree, and the menu has lots of offerings. My boyfriend got a sub, and I got a simple ziti with meatballs dish. Both were very good. He got a house wine (Malbec), and I got a Snapple iced tea and they poured it over ice for me, which was a nice touch! Ask for the dessert menu - like the main menu, it offers lots of options. We didn't know what to order, so our server John (who was lovely) recommended something and, it was high quality and very good. Overall the service is polite, swift, and very professional. D'Parma just opened up a third location on Broadway Revere so of course I had to head over and take a peek. And peek I did. I stopped in for dinner early on a Saturday night with a friend. We were greeted promptly and seat the same. Water, menus and hot bread were quickly brought to the table. The hot crispy bread was served with butter but there was a little pot of oil on the table along with spices. We then ordered our meals which were chicken Parmesan and swordfish puttanesca. The chicken Parmesan with cooked to perfection with just the right amount of marinara and fresh basil on top. The swordfish puttanesca was presented perfectly including chopped anchovies, olives and Capers. We both had angel hair pasta cooked Al dente. Both dishes were delicious. The servers were extremely polite and point on. This D'Parma's offers beer and wine. Parking is on street only. Note you need to pay the meters until 7pm. read more

Yeesh! Where do I begin? Placed a take-out order consisting of swordfish, a meatball sub, and frutti di mare with pasta. Is there anything worse than getting all the way home and your food sucks or something is wrong. So my swordfish was over cooked to the point of being inedible. I venture back into the cold and return my dinner only to have the cook tell the hostess that this is the way swordfish is supposed to be and maybe I should change the sauce. What does that even mean???...and it really hit a nerve that he didn't just apologize and replace it. I mean, on the strength of him saying this is how the swordfish is supposed to be, is enough to realize this place is ridiculous...but it gets worse. As I got no apology from the hostess, I proceeded to tell her to just give me a risotto figuring it may be quick even though they already screwed up my nice relaxing dinner with a lady friend. I waited 15 minutes for my food ( the hostess just handed it to me without saying anything) then went home. I get home and open the risotto and it's soupy af. Don't know in what region in Italy this may be the style, but perhaps it's the Central American or Brazilian way since all the cooks and staff are from these regions. That's cool, but you're billed as an authentic Italian restaurant so.... So then I opened my meatball sub which I asked for with no provolone and add grated Parmesan. Naturally, it had provolone and no Parmesan. I brought this back and asked for a mgr. A woman who was waiting on tables comes over to help me. I told her about both situations and the cooks lack of accountability and she apologized and had them make another sub. I also see the cooks with a smug look in their faces talking to the hostess and I could totally tell they were talking about me. While I was waiting I asked the hostess if the head chef was there and she said no. So this raised my concern about how nobody is held accountable as there is no management in the building ON A FRIDAY NIGHT. No head chef and a lead server running the front of the house. How much does ownership care? So the icing on the cake...you won't believe this. I watch one of the cooks drop a stack of to-go tins on the floor and from the feeling I already got from this place, my sixth sense told me to watch him. To see if he picks them up and puts them back on the shelf. I got my food and left but watched through the window and sure enough! These disgusting oil picked the tins up and placed them back on the shelf! I raced back into the restaurant bc now I'm pissed at the lack of consideration for their customers and ask for this lead server again. I told her what I just witnessed and she apologizes to me like a broken record and goes to talk to the cook. I proceeded to tell her that about to Yelp the shit out of this place and left. I kind of wanted to contact the board of health also! Lastly, I returned back home and the meatball sub was dry and had barely any sauce. Do not go here. Since the owners don't care and nobody is accountable, it's up to us to hold them accountable! They got one star bc I think I had to give them one or else they would have got none. read more
