Awesome place for everyone! Including family with kids. Service was incredibly attentive and responsive. The food was very good and the vibe was very low-key and welcoming. We had the lobster melt which was delicious! The truffle fries and regular fries were both very good. We also enjoyed the burger, chicken wings, signature chicken sandwich and chicken tenders. All great choices! There were no misses with food and flavor. The drinks which included a hot toddy where a great price during happy hour and also on point! This will be a regular spot to return to!

I'm a fan of 99 Rogers for multiple reasons: - If you're looking for a local spot, it doesn't get more local than this. There aren't many places on this stretch of Rogers Avenue, and the people who come to 99 Rogers are people who live nearby. - If you like good beers and a food menu that is something more than fries and burgers, you will be pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu at 99 Rogers. Everything I've had here was great: from the burger, to the salads, to the quesadilla. Plenty of small plates to share, or large dishes if you're hungry. This is a step or three above your average bar food. And the prices are great! - Kids-friendly. I've come here with my wife and kid multiple times, and I've seen families with small children all the times. If you come here on a weekday when there are no major sports events going on, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. -With 7 TV screens, this is also a great place to watch sports. I've been here when the Knicks were playing in the playoffs, and the atmosphere is just fantastic. I'm a fan.

This place was a KNOCKOUT!! Such a great find. The food was AMAZING, and they were even willing to make a bunch of fun customizations to my orders, like adding bleu cheese to the fries and pulled pork to the gruyere avocado melt. Service was friendly and INCREDIBLY fast. Like weirdly fast. I'm going to text my friend right now and ask her when we can go back!

This is a good Ole American Bar. This was an impromptu girls not out on a weekday. At 1st, we didn't have high hopes and just wanted to get a bite. We walked in, and this place is not afraid of using wood. The NBA playoffs were playing, and I was really happy. Orders are made at the bar, and you choose your seat. We sat at a high top outside with a clear view of the TV. We ordered: 1. Nachos - old-school baked cheese nachos. Toppings included black beans, jalapenos, Pico de Gallo, and sour cream. This was a traditional dish. Flavors were good. 2. Thai Chili Wings - the wings were good, not super spicy or overcooked. Juicy and seasoned well. 3. 99 Cobb Salad - this was a traditional Cobb. They were not cheap on the chicken or the bacon. The chicken was not dry, and the salad wasn't overdressed with dressing. 4. Shrimp Caesar salad with avocado - this hit the spot. There was a good amount of shrimp, but I wish they were larger. 5. Zucchini sticks - coated in an Italian breading. These were really good, not sloppy with loose breading. I would have preferred marinara sauce instead of the tarragon aioli. My margarita was regular, nothing special. Shout out to our server, Conner. He was nice and helpful. I would definitely return.

When I think "American bar" the image of this place comes to mind. Everything inside is pretty much made of wood, tvs are playing whatever game is on that day, and alcohol is flowing effortless from the various bartenders on site. I happened to go during an important football game so the place was packed but we were lucky to find a free booth in the back (self seating & you order at the bar - they bring the food to the table). It was an alcohol-free night for me so I went with a lemonade which was surprisingly good. We split the firecracker shrimp appetizer which was crispy and pretty good. I then went with the fish sandwich which came with fries. The fish sandwich was actually really good and those fries are a must! My friend went with the sampler platter and said the chicken was super juicy and delicious. I also happened to steal a few of her onion rings and those were great too.. not too greasy or overly battered. Considering the amount of people in the bar, our food came out relatively fast & we were occasionally checked on by staff even though we ordered at the bar which was nice. I really enjoyed my meal here & would recommend if you're looking for some good bar food.

Review for COVID times: My husband and I was wandering the neighborhood and came across 99 Rogers for a drink and a bite. First things first: safety. I love how they turned their little patio into individual green houses (about four or five to seat at least 4 people comfortably). I am not sure if you need to have reservations but we just stopped by and were able to snag a greenhouse. All food is served on a tray and drinks are served in plastic cups. Tables/each greenhouse does NOT come with hand sanitizers, only one at the ordering window. Also, all guests need to fill in a form including phone number and address. Now, let's talk FOOD. We both ordered the beyond burger and it was GREAT. This review is also biased because I don't eat meat, so I'm not sure what a juicy beef patty is like but this beyond meat is texture felt like actual meat. (My husband eats everything so I gauged that from his feedback). Oh, it's served on brioche buns. F A N C Y Order came with a side of salad, fries, tater tots, or truffle fries. Truffle fries were okay; I thought it was going to be glorious, but it's okay. It was still tasty. A nice variety of beer selections from light stuff to good stuff (IPA FTW). Food is delivered btw. But you bring yourself trays and trash to the window where you order and check out. Nice staff! I'm happy to go back. My husband is a fan of the food and safety precautions in place.

Was here earlier tonight. Upon entering here I didn't recall seeing any signage outside so I had know idea where I was going. However, I enjoyed what I saw inside the wooden furniture, several tvs to watch and the low key vibe. They were playing classics like OutKast, Lupe Fiasco, Talib Kweli and more. My friend and I ordered the pomegranate margarita which was just right not too sour or sweet. They do happy hour till 8. For food we ordered wings and nachos which were both tasty. I'll definitely will try the other foods. The bartender was also nice her gave free shots. They also do Taco Tuesday $2 tacos.

As someone who has come to this bar regularly to watch Knicks playoff games, I can confidently say…read moreI will never return after what happened during the NBA Finals last night. What this bar pulled was completely unacceptable. They were openly reserving seats at the bar for certain people while telling everyone else they were unavailable. There was no advertised reservation policy, no advance notice, and no opportunity offered to regular customers. Apparently, the only way to get a seat is to know the owner, know the bartenders, or be part of the inner circle. What made it even worse was that my group had been sitting at the bar, ordering food and drinks starting around 7:30 PM, only to be forced out of our seats at 7:45 PM. The reservation signs on those seats clearly stated they were reserved for 8:15 PM. We were paying customers actively spending money, yet we were removed 30 minutes before the supposed reservation time. That is absolutely egregious behavior. I've worked in sports bars and have owned sports bars in New York City. In all my years in the business, I have never heard of reserving seats directly at the bar--especially during a major sporting event. It goes against everything that makes a sports bar successful. Bar seats have always been first-come, first-served. That's Sports Bar 101. I've spent plenty of money here over the years because it was always a great place to watch big games: good atmosphere, sound on the TVs, and a fun crowd. Unfortunately, last night proved that customer loyalty means absolutely nothing. Regular patrons were treated like second-class citizens while preferred customers received special treatment. For a bar that markets itself as a neighborhood sports destination, this was incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. If you're planning to watch a major game here, don't assume you'll be treated fairly. Unless you're friends with the right people, don't expect the same experience as everyone else. There are plenty of other sports bars in Brooklyn that understand how to treat customers. After last night, I'll be spending my money there instead. I won't be back, and I certainly won't be recommending this place to anyone. Let's Go Knicks

One would…read morethink that by now the establishment would employ individuals who understood and appreciated the people of this community. One of the things I enjoy most about living in this neighborhood is that when people frequent these specific establishments, often times they're coming in for fellowship and connection. Last night, my friend and I walked in to the ale house and went straight to the back to use the restroom. When we walked in we didn't see anyone at the door and it was rather late at night, but we walked in quietly and fully expected to purchase something from the bar in order to use the restroom. In fact, I was standing by the bar with my friend when she went to use the restroom. When she tried to go in, a middle-age woman with glasses and blonde hair, proceeded to put her physical body between my friend and the bathroom. The employee escalated the situation incredibly quickly and did not start by explaining that we had to purchase something in order to use the bathroom. It was only when I noticed the commotion and went to the bathroom and asked the worker to bring down her voice, to understand that we were not here to start any trouble, and that in order for us to move forward, we need her to calm down and de-escalate. It was then that she said that there is a sign that says only customers can use the restroom. To which I said that is fine. I can buy a beer and I will buy a beer for my friend to use the restroom, but it doesn't make any sense for you to treat people this way. We are grown adults, we did not see the sign initially, but to be treated in that way without any explanation at first was disheartening, hurtful, and disrespectful. The bartender apologized profusely for the employee's actions and explained that she had had a rough morning. To which I said, she should've been sent home when you noticed that she was not having a good day. We all have bad days, we all are human, but this is yet another example of people minding their business, not trying to start any issues and other individuals assuming the worse and bringing unnecessary anger, fear, and anxiety to a situation. I also went to share that I had noticed that before the woman proceeded to block the bathroom, she had approached two black men sitting at the bar and then pointed towards us. As I exited the bar, I asked them. What did she say to you because I find it very interesting that she approached you and then proceeded to act in the way that she acted. To which one of the gentlemen said, "Because of other incidents, she told she told us to be alert and to keep an eye on you." My question is, is this something that is said to every patron that enters the Fulton ale house. Lastly, I didn't start with this, but I'll note that one of the last things I said to the bartender was this was particularly hurtful because this event was carried out by a white woman, who asked two black men to essentially "police" two black women on Juneteenth! To the management of Fulton Ale House, I don't want a response because I don't want to hear excuses...I just need you all to do better. Peace!
