Phenomenal customer service. Recently, the battery died in my Kia Forte - and it's not your regular battery. Other auto parts stores informed me that it would take 3 to 4 days to get my ceramic battery, but 9th Street Tires got it within 40-minutes at a far lower rate than expected. Since I lived just half a block from them, I asked if they could possibly send a technician to my house to install the battery - and they did. Professional, kind, understanding, and helpful - and all at a low price to boot. I was extremely impressed with their service and kindness, and they helped me in under an hour. Took my car there for two tires and an alignment they told me my power steering fluid was leaking and they tightened something to fix that but when they went to top off the power steering fluid they also topped off other fluids and ended up putting motor oil in my transmission wuch u didn't find out til I drive my car around and my transmission is no longer any good had a mobile mechanic come to my house and low and behold he found the motor oil in the transmission and 9 the street tire was the last place I took my car I'm going to take further action about this they owe me a car read more

Was recommended to 9th Street by a good friend of mine Chris. Needed front and rear brakes on a Cadillac CTS and had been given a crazy high quote from Midas up in Mt. Pocono. Vinnie and his guys at 9th Street did the brake job and an inspection the next day and the cost was over $400 LESS than what Midas quoted me for the same work and they then did the inspection too. Honestly what a complete waste of my day calling the tire shop seeing if they have 2 used tires for my car, they say YES and I go there and he tells me actually they're "dry rotted" and hes not gonna bother selling them to me. I said wow, I drove all this way. He said I should've mentioned that I wanted them to pass an inspection. So... You're just gonna sell these dry rotted tires to some other schmuck? Why did I NEED to tell you that they needed to br state legal tires?? w h y. I wasted SO MUCH TIME AND GAS driving to the shop and back for absolutely no reason. I came in around 11 am just for a tire change the rude girl at the counter said it would be about 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours well needless to say 2 1/2 hours later still no service and no one to give us any information regarding when we would be serviced when asking the Rude girl proceeded to talk over me then saying she has no control over the time it takes them well if thats true why tell me I would be waiting almost 2 hours ??? if want good service in a reasonable time frame with friendly workers DONT COME HERE read more

My husband took our truck for inspection today. He has over 17 years mechanical experience. The mechanic had the audacity to lie and said, #1 motor mount broken, #2Transmission mount broken and #1 wheel's bolt joint broken. After my husband and mechanic took a look, all 3 were lies. Nothing was wrong with vehicle. No charge to pass or fail inspection because it was all lies to charge more for these issues. Very disappointed. read more

Inexperienced and shady. Do not bring your car to this shop. You will regret it. I brought my truck in to have the fuel pump replaced. 3 days later they towed my truck to the dealership and charged me an extra $400 to have them fix the problem. Do not trust this shop. read more

Buyer beware! Sold dry rotted tires. Lasted 2 days then blew out. Paid for new. Tool box was stolen from car & tires not balanced. The man running the desk "Sal said video tape would not rewind "to review the tools taken Right sure. Apparently very little works in this shop. Tire jockey moved his car as this was taking place. Noone would give his name up. Please beware of your property and know that their work is poor at best. read more

This place customer service sucks. Snotty ass people. Sold me used tires that I was told a week later are definitely cracking already. Broke a tire sensor and won't take responsibility or replace them. Use to recommend people and bring my company vehicles here.. never again. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD!!!! I purchaed 4 (qty) Nexen N5000 tires size 225-55-18 on 1-3-14 at Ninth Street Tires In East Stroudsburg PA after being informed by my Nissan dealer that I needed tires. At that time there were approximately 28,000 miles on the vehicle. On 4-15-15 I was informed by Meineke during a PA state inspection I would need tires very soon, there were 53,319 miles on the car at that time. Thinking this couldn't possible be they took me into the shop to show me the wear, tread depth and flaps of rubber coming off of the tire. I immediately went to Ninth Street tire to inform Sal the owner of this issue. At that time he told me to come back in a few days and he would have a representative of Cooper tire look at my tires and determine the next steps because "Nexen is manufactured by Cooper". Upon meeting this rep he informed me that I would need to drive the vehicle to the 58,000 mile mark to have used the tires for 30,000 miles and be eligible for a prorated refund. They also tried to blame the lack of maintenance on the vehicle until I pulled out my folder with every service ever performed on the vehicle. He even put the car up in the air on the lift to double check everything. On Monday 10-12-2015 I returned to Ninth Street tire having 58,715 miles on my vehicle. At this time Sal informed me he would again need to have a representative from Cooper come out at look at my tires. Having already spoken to both Cooper and Nexen and been informed that Cooper does not have anything to do with Nexen tires I asked Sal to call Cooper while I was there to sort this issue out, which he declined to do. At that time I informed him I would be contacting Nexen directly again to process my warranty claim as well as filing a complaint with the BBB about this tire establishment. 9th Street Tires also does not provide a mileage in service date on their invoices and or a mileage in or out when you have your tires rotated. This is necessary information when trying to have a warranty claim processed. Great price until you need help, then he claims not to have any recollection of your situation!! I highly recommend steering clear of this place. I have never heard of a tire dealer needing a rep to tell him how to process a warranty claim. They should've processed the pro-rated tread depth warranty claim and submitted the claim form on their end and sent it to Nexen, which by the way is the correct way according to Nexen. read more
