One greeted me quickly and then went back to chatting. I walked the entire perimeter of the store - picking up purses and inspecting them. Not one time did anyone offer any assistance. As I walked out the door, there was somewhere there who told me goodbye. I went a few doors down to Kate Spade and was greeted and offered excellent customer service. I bought a purse. I then returned to speak to the manager of Coach to let her know of the customer service failure and lost sale and it turned out she was the chatterer that briefly greeted me.
