On 9/11/25, brought in a 2015 Honda Civic to A-1 Accurate Automotive after another shop couldn't fix a check engine light. Hai was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He quickly found that rodents had chewed part of the wire harness, repaired it, and the check engine light was gone--the car even passed smog. They also recommended and replaced the engine air filter and cabin air filter. Hai also noticed the center brake light was out and replaced it at no charge. The cost was fair, he even offered me a ride to the shop from home and washed the car, which I really appreciated. A week later (9/18/25), the car wouldn't start, and Hai kindly had me bring it back. He found the issue was due to an old key fob battery, car battery and a kill switch on the car battery. After replacing both and removing the switch, the car started perfectly. I really appreciated Hai's honesty, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. The car has been running smoothly ever since, and I'll definitely return to A-1 Accurate Automotive for future Honda repairs. Highly recommend! Thank you! read more

I won't leave a 1 star review just because I use to really trust this place and have recommended many people here. Brought in a car because it wouldn't shift out of drive. Quoted $800 and 2 days of work. Went home and watched a YouTube video of what it could be and found out it was a $6 bushing I got straight from Toyota and I fixed it myself in 10 min. This is just my personal review of this one time. Just disappointed because this was one of the only places I trusted and now have my doubts. They have done great work in the past for me and friends. Let me start by saying my story is very unique....... I was driving to work one day & a scorpion crawled out of my dash. Yes, I said scorpion. Let me add that I purchased my car in Arizona because I was moving there. Anyways, I pulled over immediately, jumped out of the car & did the dance as if it was on me. Yes I'm a girl. I did not know what to do. I called my boyfriend and we tried for about 45 minutes to flush it out with hot and cold air. We lost that battle. So I had my boyfriend drive it back to my house. Without having to mention all the names concerned, allow us to start out by saying that the managerial team and the mechanics of this small shop are the BOMB, yes, yes, yes, I know it is an old term as sayings go, but if you do not like that one, how about the word AWESOME, comes to mind whenever I have dealt with these wonderful persons over there at; A1 ACCURATE AUTOMOTIVE! How many of those bankers hours institutions have you been to, that open between the hours of 8 to 9 am maybe, if you're lucky (but you had to be on the road headed for work by 7:30 or 8 am) none the less this had to be done, and you called into work to say you might be a bit late; Those very same bankers hours institutions will CLOSE at 4:30 pm sharp ( a half an hour before you get off of work or will act as though they are doing you the biggest favor in the world by staying until that very minute you get off from work and NOT A MINUTE LONGER)? 2 STARS: For A1 ACCURATE AUTOMOTIVE, in that their customer services are superb; When inquiring about your particulars A1 ACCURATE AUTOMOTIVE by either management directly or the office administrator, (a real GEM) can usually always answer your questions over the phone, (but really come on folks let's be realistic) like most professional shops, in 9 out of 10 cases the shop would have to see your vehicle to make a more precise accounting or opinion on the causes to your particulars.... 2 Stars: As for the mechanics workmanship; These persons know their stuff, and their workmanship is in my opinion "superb" and; 2 STARS: for the mechanic's getting the job done correctly and precisely!! 1 Star: Aside from this, when you step inside; They have a small but very nice waiting area, with a nice couch, and chairs to accommodate the business at hand, also giving the ones waiting, a chance to converse with one another, and for those with a sweet tooth, a jar of chocolate squares! 2 Stars: Management guides you every step of the way; We are the type of person's that want to know precisely what needs to be done every step of the way, but also if other work needs to be done and the additional expenses (if any) that might come along and (THEY ALWAYS CALL US TO BE SURE THE WORK IS APPROVED), before proceeding! Here is an update for you, since I wrote that first review in 2013. Jim at A-1 is still my hero. I have since taken my wife's car there and again we are so pleased with the team, the work they do, the price, everything! When we have any kind of problem with our vehicles, we pay extra to have it towed down to Jim. It is worth it to me to know that I am not going to get tricked, lied to, overcharged as I was at the stealership. Over the years, more than once, A-1 has impressed me. A few times, I have left there thinking to myself, another shop would have told me it was something more serious, more expensive than what it really was. When I get home, I lay under the car, and I can always tell that they did the work, replaced the part, etc. that they said they would. Another thing that I noticed is that they do a lot of nice collector hot rod cars there. I don't have anything like that at all, and my wife's car is for hauling kids around. Yet Jim and his team have always treated us with respect and we feel welcome and just as important to them as a customer with a classic show car. read more

I had recently taken my 1972 Chevy K5 Blazer to another mechanic to have a rear seal replaced on the transfer case and when I drove off, I began to hear a grinding noise come from underneath the truck. I drove back to that mechanic and he began to tell me that I now have issues with the transfer case and he'll have to call I his "transfer case guy" to come in and help out. I was done dealing with that mechanic at that point. So, I paid a visit over to A-1 Accurate and the problem was quickly resolved in 5 min. The grinding noise was due to one of the front wheel locks being set at "free" while the other was "locked". I was so excited about how it was a quick fix and Jim didn't charge me a dime. Not only are the reviews great at A-1 Accurate but another thing I noticed while I was there was the number of classic cars/trucks that were getting serviced and that's a good thing cause a classic car/truck owner can and should be picky when choosing a mechanic to work on their classic vehicle.
