He nursed it along until I could replace the entire system. About 6 years later...AIR REPAIR installed a new system complete with Nest thermostat .....again, significantly less than 2 other companies I had checked with years earlier...to me there is no question regarding the excellence of their work and reliability. my new A/C keeps our house cool on those 95 degree humid days and my electric bill, due to the new efficiency of the unit..is 1/2 of what it used to be. I consider these guys to be new tech with old school service. I have been in my house 40+ years and will not call anyone else.... we are extremely pleased.

But here's a suggestion: don't agree to do a job provide a proposal by a date certain and then just ignore two or three follow up emails as a potential customer's time runs out. Pretty simple. We move on. Actually worked out better - found a far more reliable, friendly local plumber who was responsive and charged me $200 less. I should have known Service Tech wasn't reliable when they - well Denny, just threw out a nearly $600 flat quote to install one simple bathroom faucet...without ever seeing the job. I asked if he wanted the model number for the faucet. No need for that when he had no intent to follow through. Makes me wonder about all the other positive reviews. Maybe they were customers who paid for more expensive jobs. What a shame I just had a faucet.

Update on my review from October 2024. As noted in the review PES replaced one of my furnace units…read moreand also installed w replacement AC systems. As noted in my original review ( I wish reviews allowed editing) the install was done professionally, the crew worked neatly, and it passed inspection no problem. This winter the new furnace operated with no issues. With this year's early heat waves the new units have been put to the test and then some. The unit that cools the upstairs portion of the house, that always struggled with our old unit, was sized perfectly and it has kept the temperature even when we hit close to 100 degrees. The other unit has worked perfectly as well, keeping the rest of the house comfortable without straining. Very pleased, to say the least.
