My car had a rock chip two days before I had to go on a big camping trip in Eastern Washington. When I asked a local friend where he would reccomend, he told me A-1 Auto Glass. This place was awesome, great service, great price. I called to buy just a piece of glass. it didn't take her any time at all to look up the price. said she could have it the next day. I went in to pick it up, very nice, easy process. I was going to have it put in by a friend.... turns out they didn't know what they were doing... and I couldn't afford to pay them to do it at the time. So the next day I took the glass back. It only took them about 2 hours to fix and they called my insurance company for me. I simply had to approve the claim over the phone with them while I was there. I wish I could have given them more stars. First I would like to say I did auto glass for about a year in PHX so I know pretty well what happening when it come to cars in that regards. My front driver side glass slipped off the track on a Sunday. I called them on Monday and set up a appointment to be seen at 3pm the same day that was nice. I had to stay late at work and missed my appointment with them that day. Tuesday I got off a little early and decided I would go By and see if they could at least look at it since I did not have any tools because I just moved here from PHX about three weeks ago and did not have much time to fix it myself anyways. I was 25 hours late for my appointment at this point. When I walked in I explained who I was and what happen. Martin was the one I was talking with and he completely understood and was very kind and professional in every aspect. He said you can park it we will try to get to it today but he was clear that there were people ahead of me and I would have to wait. At this point I was ecstatic and taking back at how much they were willing to help me even though I was 25 hours late showed up with no appointment and to make it worse they were closing in about two hours with at people in front of me waiting for there cars glass to be done. I said that's great do what you can do if you can't get to it no problem I'm the one that messed up by missing my appointment. I hand him my keys grab my fishing pole out of the back of truck and back pack and wonder off down the road to maybe get in some fishing while I wait, why not right. I'm fish for about an hour or so and Martin called me on my cell phone and explained what had happen to my window and what needed to be done. He said he could fix it but he going to have replace a part and in the process the window might break and if that happen it price would have gone up 3x the estimated price I was giving. I told him to do his best and if it broke then so be it No worries just for him to be careful and try to keep the price down. After about another 30 minutes of fishing I decided I would start to walk back since there were very close to closing down and I did not want to keep them after hours. When I arrived at the shop now 5 min to close he had my whole door ripped apart and laid out and Keith was down on his hands and knees really getting in there trying to set my glass as perfect as he could have. I was asking him questions about the process knowing I already knew the answers to the question I was asking and he was very truthful and experienced in the way he explained it to me not knowing I have ever done auto glass in the past. He did such a great job he did not break the glass like he said he might have and was very carful in his approach on was he doing. After everything said and done they were there 15 min past closing for me, on a day I did not have an appointment and was giving the most excellent care and consideration. They could have easily just happen tapped my glass, broke it and charged me arm and leg to replace it gone home on time and made me come back the next day for repairs but the didn't. There both were truthful, honest, understanding, careful and professional in every aspect. Efficient friendly service. They were able to replace a window on our vehicle on the same day. The vehicle had been broken into and we were worried about leaving a gaping hole overnight. They even vacuumed up the broken glass that I didn't have time to get to (because they were so quick to fit me in!) in the back seat. That was a pleasant surprise. read more

Amazing, fast service! I attempted to pull my Tahoe into my garage with the lift gate up on a Friday afternoon. The window in the gate shattered. I called A-1 and spoke with Danielle. She was so understanding and sympathetic, and scheduled a appointment for replacement for the following Tuesday. She told me to bring the car in that afternoon and they could vacuum the glass in the car as well as cover the open window so we could use the car over the weekend. When I arrived at the High St location Martin worked me in and installed a new window that afternoon. I am so grateful I called them. They are now at the top of my call list for car window repair. EXCELLENT. I had to get a window for a friend's car replaced, I guessed on the year and was of course wrong, despite this they were able to adjust the order and have the window replaced the same day! All told within 3 hours I was able to call, bring in, correct my incorrect order placed and get the window replaced and back on the road. They even gave me the original quoted price even the the correct window size was more expensive. I don't have experience with other auto glass replacement companies but A-1 Auto Glass absolutely earns its name. read more

A few years ago we had windows replaced in two cars and those went without a hitch so i gave them an extra star for that, but our recent windshield had two gaps in the trim, a broken wiper arm cover, and now we have a leak... it kind of seemed like a rush job to get to close up early... so we will not be going back again. read more

I needed to have my windshield replaced on my 2005 pathfinder. I called and the receptionist was very helpful. She quickly quoted a price and offered an appointment the next day. Since I am new to the area she helped pick the closets location as they have 3. I took my vehicle to the 6th street location, drop off was quick. I was told it would take about 4 hours but after a little over 1 hour they called and let me know it would be ready in about 1/2 hour, total time at the shop was only 2 hours. The first experience I had with A-1 Auto Glass was great, which I why I decided to go back to get my windshield replaced on my other car. I called a week early to schedule an appointment (a day before my car show I might add) and somehow they ordered the wrong windshield. (Wrong model and year). The younger girl at the desk did not go out of her way to source a new windshield for me, but instead just gave me the most fake apology I have ever heard. She did not care that I trusted them to do the job, but I also woke up early and will now be going to a car show with a nice cracked windshield.
