Had an appointment after telling the it would be a 1.5hr drive to their shop, at 1:30om. My trick went into the shop after 2. At 2:30 they tell me they quoted the wrong glass. It will be $200 more and they should be done by 5:30. Found a cheaper option at a national chain! read more

I was referred to A1 when my daughters car was vandalized in her parking garage at school. I was obviously trying to get this repair done as quickly as possible so she would not be driving in such a rainy area with no window on the back of her car! Autumn and Devon couldn't have been more understanding or quicker for that matter. Within 1 day she had her new window installed and everyone we dealt with was professional and super helpful. I had to take my car in 3 times to get it fixed properly. The first time they left glass in the door and due to the negligence of the shop my door came flying open on the highway. The same night my car was broken into due to the door latch not working. After taking it in a second time the door would still not lock properly and the manager tried to put the blame on my actuator going out. After taking it in a third and final time they FINALLY fixed my car but refused reimbursement of the stolen items due to the negligence and faulty work of the shop. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I'm very pleased with my service here, I called at 4:20pm on a Friday and my window was replaced the next morning by 9:30am, I dropped it off 8:30am. Unfortunately living in Eugene this isn't the first window I've had replaced because of theft or vandalism. So, thank you Alee for making this experience so fast and easy. Finally decided to get the windshield fixed on my car...the horizontal crack was below my line of vision so it didn't bother me but when I heard that a windshield is part of the car's structure, I decided to get it replaced. Got an appointment at A1 quickly and while I was there they discovered my very flat rear tire and advised that I get it looked at NOW! Then on my way to the tire shop, I realized that the dash was nice and clean and the floor vacuumed!!!! I was sooo happy since I live in an apartment complex and am a senior, I just kept putting it off! Great people and great shop! read more

I had a window in an older car decide to have the regulator fizzle out. I called and told the girl I didn't want the car window stuff left open all night. I proceeded to bring the car by the shop. I noticed that hardly anyone was there. I asked the guy to look at it. He didn't t want to see it until I gave him $ 100 and signed 2 releases absolving them of damage. I had some rear bumper damage. After the inspection, he ( the tech) opened the door panel and put the car window back up and used tape and clear plastic. That was it. No mention of helping me further. A guy came in wanting a truck window replaced and they took him in. No appt. was needed. Another person came in and it appeared that no appt made either. So I went to Olsen' s Auto Glass. On my way here, my car threw an engine code. The shop foreman used a code reader to tell me the code and saved me a trip to Autozone- I didn't even ask! He was so kind. AVOID THIS PLACE! They "fixed" a driver side window for me and now the auto up/down feature doesn't work. I called them and the MANAGER GEORGE said bring it back in so I made an appointment and when I arrived they had no record of my appointment and said sorry we have other people scheduled and can't fix the issue! The fact they didn't check to make sure the window worked properly before giving the car back to me is unacceptable. Poor work quality and terrible customer service. read more

Being new to Eugene, and having an issue with a window off the track, these guys had me drop off the car and when we did, Steve saw the problem right away. It was a simple fix and I do think he would have fixed it right there and then but it was late. When they called that the car was ready, beside totally explaining to me what the issue was, they didn't charge me due to the simplicity of the issue. Should I ever have an issue again, they will be my only stop. read more

Very friendly staff. However, entered my information into computer incorrectly. Took 7+ days to get my glass in, so I drove around with a plastic sheet as a window during that time frame. Glass finally came in and took more than a day for the shop to "inspect" the glass. Informed me I had an appointment scheduled; then when I called to confirm said appointment they said they were mistaken and rescheduled me. Would not recommend A1 auto glass for your auto glass needs. read more

Had a 9am appt to get window replaced. They took car in @1030 then at 1130 said glass ordered was missing. .. They are polite..but this is not very organized. Called next day before going back to confirm my glass was there; scheduler a female I think named Amanda admonished me for not being there yet for a 9am appt. No kidding. When I said my 9am appt was the day before she scoffed. I had to repeat myself asking if my missing glass had come in and if so what time should I arrive. We agreed on 1pm. I went and spent 2hours more. I can't reccomend this business. The service tech Austin was professional and that's the only positive I can leave you with. read more

This A-1 location was incredibly unprofessional. I got a quarter sized rock chip on the passenger side of my windshield, called these guys up and scheduled an appointment because the repair would be free with my insurance. I show up and the receptionist is incredible disrespectful. She was very short with me and had an awful attitude. Then tried telling me I needed to pay a copay and when I told her my insurance was covering it, she just walked away and ignored me and started helping another customer, they also didn't fix the chip completely, there is still a crack/scratch, and I never got a phone call when my car was done, I didn't get an explanation on what they did, nothing. read more

Referred to them by a friend. Had cracks in my front windshield from rocks. Other companies like safelite wanted to charge over $700, while A-1 was less than half of that and explained to me that other companies will charge for recalibration (has to do with my rear view cameras but had nothing to do with replacing my windshield so it was just an unnecessary charge). Insurance worked quickly with them and had me in and out the next day within a couple hours. Great customer service and left my dash looking sparkly clean. Very grateful! read more

When I called to find out how to go about getting my windshield replaced or fixed and the customer service representative guided me about whether or not to have my insurance pay for it, which location would be most convenient for me, and she made sure the windshield that I would expect to have matched what I currently was replacing. As I arrived at the location the day of my appointment, another excellent representative greeted me and knew exactly who I was based on my car and what paperwork needed to be filled...I chose to pay out of pocket instead of using my insurance and forgot to call them ahead of time for the change...she responded positively and changed the paperwork effortlessly. My car was ready at 1p and since I had to walk there, they waited for me (it took me 20 minutes). The windshield is an exact match and they made suggestions on having my car checked since the automatic windshield wiper mode wasn't working correctly (I did notice this a few months ago, but forgot since it hasn't been raining). And they vacuumed my car! They got the job done for my car, but I didn't expect such an amazing service. read more

A-1 Auto Glass is the bomb! These folks took exceptional care of my truck after a non-law abiding citizen decided to smash my window and steal my stuff. The business (female receptionist) at the 6th Street location was very helpful. She took the time to listen to my story, look at my truck, get the right parts ordered and even suggested that I have the repair done at the Gateway location, as it is closer to my job. The gentleman at the 6th Street location took the time to vacuum ALL of the glass that had exploded into the can of my truck...and I do mean all of it. He then tapped plastic to the opening. On Monday I took my truck to the Gateway office where they installed my new window on time, and informed me all along the way what was being done and the time line it was being done on. Both of these businesses have excellent customer service. I will be recommending them to friends and family in the future. read more
