There are a few parking spaces next to the building and the lot is paved. I walked into the door to the waiting area and waited while the owner finished a phone call. I told him I wanted an estimate on tinting the door windows darker. He said he was rather busy so it would be a couple weeks until he could get to me. I was fine with that so we checked my vehicle. He said I already had the darkest tint allowed on my windows but suggested tinting the windshield would help reduce sunlight into the cabin quite a bit. I was given a decent price and he said the phone call was a cancellation for the next morning so me could squeeze me in if I could get there. I returned the next morning, and he went to work right away. The windshield tinting took only about 30 minutes and looks great. I appreciate the honesty of not selling me something I didn't need, and for making a suggestion that really helped reduce interior heat. I will definitely return for my next tinting needs.

Do not use this company as an UPS access point. My $500+ package was delivered there, where Mick…read moresigned for it. They lost and/or stole my package. UPS has confirmed Advance is responsible. Advance claims they are not. The manager, I believe his name is Joey, lied to me 2 times today over the package. Joey stated that he spoke with Tom at UPS, and Tom wanted me to call him and he could solve the issue. I called UPS, and Tom was never there today. That was really cute, Joey. I also loved your blank stare when I confronted you about that lie. Then, your quick recover, and claiming you misspoke that you actually talked to Scott and Scott said for me to call Tom. According to UPS, that didn't happen either. He also claimed this location does not have cameras, after I asked him to view the footage of the disappearing package. It has been one month since I first filed a claim for a missing package. Unfortunately, today, I had to resort to filing a police report, due to the package being missing. Today, I also had to call the Advance corporate office and speak with the manager. He stated that he will contact the sender, and verify the package was indeed lost. That is all I wanted. Period. It took one month for someone to call the sender and officially say the package was missing. As of now, I still do not have an answer. I am hoping the corporate manager makes good on his word, and can resolve this matter. Advance, if you would like the police report case number, I would be happy to give it to you. Your move, advance. ***UPDATE*** Regional manager still denies that the lost package was Advance's fault. He did, in fact, contact the original sender. So, I'll give him credit for that. However, he said that the sender can only file another complaint with UPS. I informed the Regional Manager that has been done 4 other times. He apologized and said that's all he could do, and that I should wait 10 more days, if not resolved, and contact him again. He then would "run it up the chain," and see what they can do. So, I've waited one MONTH already, but he feels I should wait 10 more days before he contacts anyone above him at the Advance Dept. That's fair, right?! I should wait 40 days total before anyone chooses to speak with someone that could possibly help me. You know, since I only have over $500's in limbo right now. Thank you, Advance Auto Parts. Tomorrow I am gathering my police report, and will be heading to the courthouse to officially file for a civil lawsuit. I tried to be nice and patient. I gave you 30 days of my time, that you chose to waste. You could have resolved this in a professional manner.

The mechanic recommended an upsell for a $250.72 Air conditioning Test (which showed no leaks), $63.14 for the Cabin Filter Service, and $206.93 for the Premium Cooling System Service. My mileage was at 74490. Since I have used them in previous years, I decided to trust them. Fast forward, and I try using my AC only to find that the first three settings on my fan no longer work. Zero air comes out on setting 1, 2, and 3. It will only emit air when on the highest setting. Prior to this "service," my fan worked perfectly. I tried submitting a contact form about this, but did not receive a response. I scheduled an appointment today with them to check the fan to see if something was just not put back correctly, and low and behold there is suddenly a leak that will cost an addition $980 just for the parts! Even though I have driven my car less than 1000 miles (my current mileage is 75241) since the appointment. They didn't even look at my fan, even though that was what I brought my car in for. Edit: I had another local mechanic take a look at my car. They confirmed that there was NO leak and replaced the fan on my car for $182 total. HTek is a total joke - save your money and go somewhere else instead!

The vehicle was as advertised. Vehicle and salesman were waiting for me ahead of my appointment. Was also updated by Carmax via text message about my appointment times and the required documentation that I needed to have ready. The transaction was a smooth as I've ever experienced buying many vehicles from traditional dealerships over the decades. No pressure at all to buy, unlike traditional dealerships where you get pushed constantly. Carmax lets you input most if not all of the required information online ahead of time prior to your scheduled visit- this can be done at your home computer, and I even uploaded some documents with a mobile device. The salesman and staff were very honest and helpful during the process, snd help me close the deal smoothly. If you can input your documents online ahead of time and also bring all the required correct, accurate, and up-to-date information with you, you should have no issues with the purchase process. I live out of state and they had the correct out-of-state paperwork there ready to fill out, and even had plates and stickers at the dealership so I could drive it home out of TN. I was in and out of there in less than two hours. I suspect many of the negative reviews come from people who do not have the correct paperwork or documentation, or do not have their finances in order prior to visiting the dealership. This was my first experience at Carmax and has changed the way I will purchase my vehicles in the future, as I will never go back to all that nonsense at a traditional dealership again.
