Big fan. Dolly is very pleasant and truly seems to love what she does. Have always been pleased with our (doodles') groomings.

My husband left work early and everything to meet them. The day of the appointment, I receive another text that stated "Hi, this is Mobile Pet Grooming and due to equipment issues this morning, Ron will be running approximately 1-1 1/2 hour behind schedule for today. He will text you when in route. Please let us know of any issues, thank you." By this time, we were already home, so of course there were no issues. That is....until the clock slowly ticked by without the groomer arriving or texting. I texted the company multiples times asking for an ETA, no response. I didn't hear back from them until the next day with a message asking "did the groomer not show up"? Clearly they were receiving my texts, just refusing to answer them. Without an apology or anything, the person responding to my day old texts offer another day the groomer was available. Ummmm, no thank you! Schedules were already changed around to accommodate the previous appointment, why would I take another, days later and in the morning! When refused the appointment, I then get a sad excuse for an apology, followed by a message stating that "Ron is bad at communicating". Well sure, go on and reschedule me for the poor communicator. Will never get my money again!

I spoke to the office and she admitted my zip code was a constant parking problem, but then denied it was her responsibility to contact me for other suggestions, like an afternoon appt when parking is much easier. I had never used a mobile groomer before and didn't know what to expect or what questions to ask. They also refused to refund my deposit. Just an awful way of doing business.

Yesterday, 5/4/26, my sister took our dog to PetSmart in Owings Mills. Zumba has been to this…read morelocation several times and no problem. In fact, we have used been using PetSmart, different locations, for probably over 20 years without incident. UNTIL YESTERDAY!!! Well, maybe I should say his previous visit as well. So, on the previous visit, around Dec. Zumba's underside was washed but apparently was not conditioned. Zumba is a Shih Tzu, so he is very short. After his last groom, he walked across the grass which was damp and immediately started to matt. I thought they probably did not condition his underside - no big deal. Anyway, he went to PetSmart yesterday for grooming. He had some matting issues under his coat and also on his underside, where he had immediately started matting from the previous visit. The groomer called and said it would cost extra - no problem. 4 hours later the dog still was not groomed!!! He had been washed and partially cut. The dog had apparently been sitting and waiting while they groomed other dogs even though Zumba had an appointment and also paid for additional time. When my sister picked the dog up, the dog looked like he was 96 y.o. and had been drunk for days. The hair on his head is chopped up, his face is chopped up, his beard is uneven, his feet look like he has boots on, hair is hanging down from his genitalia - lots of it. They told my sister they will finish him in the morning (today), now today they are saying Thursday. How they could even let a dog leave their establishment looking the way this dog looks is beyond me. They offered no refund, no discount, charged extra, said they would finish the job today, and now rescheduled to Thursday. This is the worse customer service and grooming service I have ever experienced. I do not recommend this particular PetSmart Grooming service at all. If I could give them a lower score I would. My dog looks so bad, that if I saw him on the street, I would not he was my dog.

As someone who has worked here and QUIT:…read more Employees were expected to handle large numbers of dogs under extremely stressful conditions, and I witnessed dogs being roughly handled and verbally mistreated. Dogs were called names (bitches) and spoken to in ways that I found completely unacceptable for a business whose entire reputation is supposed to revolve around caring for animals. When I was first hired, the staff did not give me the required safety and training video. From my experience, there was no apparent urgency to make sure I actually received or completed the training before being put to work. It came across to me as pure, unadulterated laziness and negligence. The treatment of employees was just as disturbing. We were not allowed to sit down, even during long periods of physically exhausting work. I eventually passed out on the concrete floor in the large-dog section. When I fell, my eyeglasses went into my face so hard that they left a visible indentation and caused bleeding. One of the moments that really shocked me was when I specifically asked what I was supposed to do if dogs got into a fight. I expected a clear answer or established safety procedure, especially in a workplace responsible for supervising groups of dogs. Instead, the response I received was essentially, "Shit, I don't know." That was extremely concerning to me. When you're responsible for multiple dogs in an environment where fights can happen, employees should know exactly what protocol to follow before an emergency occurs. Being met with "I don't know" when asking a basic safety question made me question how prepared the staff actually were to handle a serious incident. The incident was visible on camera, and a coworker's mother witnessed what happened through the camera footage. Despite the seriousness of what happened, I received no meaningful assistance. Instead, when I regained consciousness and attempted to get out of the pen on my own, the dogs got out. Rather than checking whether I was injured or making sure I was okay after literally passing out and hitting my face, the focus was on the dogs having "escaped." I was then told to take a ten-minute "break." The entire response made me feel as though they believed I was exaggerating or faking what had happened rather than dealing with an actual medical incident. The owner's retarded son was present during the incident and, in my experience, did nothing to assist me. There were also serious concerns about the way people were treated. I personally experienced and witnessed behavior that I considered racially insensitive and discriminatory, and I found the owner's conduct toward certain people deeply bigoted and unacceptable. These are not the values I would expect from a workplace or a business serving the public. I would strongly encourage anyone considering employment here or dropping off your animals, to ask detailed questions about employee and pet safety, breaks, incident procedures, and how both employees and animals are treated when nobody is watching. Additionally, Neil (if currently employed at this location) is in desperate need of some proper oral hygiene. Perhaps a trip to the orthodontist, or the use of this Listerine (the strongest I could find) that I've attached below. No one should have to deal with that torture in the workplace.
