As far as the locale, small signage, fair parking, open space once inside. Super clean, grooming area in the back. The only shots required are thee rabies....I'm learning that other places require more, sheesh I learn new things everyday. When booking online, the system prompts you to enter your card information immediately after selecting an appointment. Typically, this step indicates that a deposit will be processed, but that wasn't clearly communicated at the time of booking. When a team member later called to confirm my appointment, I mentioned that I had already entered my card information during the booking process. There was no follow-up from the team to clarify whether the deposit had been received, and since no additional communication was sent, I reasonably assumed everything was confirmed. However, I received a text message at 5:40 p.m. on 10/10/25 -- about 20 minutes before closing -- stating that my appointment scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on 10/11/25 had been canceled. I immediately called and texted but didn't receive a response until the next morning when the business reopened, at which point the appointment was already canceled. Given that appointments here are often booked weeks, if not months, in advance, it's extremely difficult to pivot or make alternate arrangements on such short notice. The lack of follow-up and the last-minute cancellation were disappointing, especially considering the time and planning it takes to secure a spot. I'm sharing this feedback constructively, as I understand things happen, but clearer communication and more proactive customer service would go a long way toward improving the overall experience.

Laura's Pet Grooming gave me an appointment the next day and I sat there while she removed them- she was amazing!! It didn't take much time and she cleaned up his undercoat and he looks great! A few other groomers told me they'd have to shave him to get the knots out - I'm so thrilled she could do it without shaving. Plus, he didn't even make a whimper when she was removing them. When I found Puttin On the Dog and met Jade, with Freckles. I was shock to see how spotless clean her shop was a nice warm friendly environment. I made an appointment with Jade to groom Freckles for me and all I could say when I came to pick up Freckles was WOW. What I mean by WOW is while grooming dog(s), her shop is super clean, and what an outstanding job Jade did on Freckles cut her how I wanted her to be cut. My dog was so happy with her new groomer and Freckles smell so clean and was pretty looking, Jade even puts a bow on her collar depending on what season it is. If christmas is christmas bow, easter with easter bunny, etc. No cut in her skin or toe nails too short that blood was coming out compare to other groomers. Yes her prices is a little high but the workman ship is what counts. I continue taking my dog back to Jade, and when I do bring Freckles, my dog knows where she is and carry on in my vehicle and drags me over to the door to Jade shop. At first when I took Freckles she would shy away from Jade shop, and not to mention dragging me up the steps to get out. What I like about Jade is that you can take a course in grooming your dog with Jade and you can groom your dog. Jade tells you what supplies you need, type of clipper, blades, etc. No other groomer does this and was the best money ever spend on this course, as I can groom my dog too. I purchase the shampoo for Freckles and the wipes to wipe Freckles off when we come in from walking. The time Jade promise you when you are done, I receive a call from Jade saying Freckles is done ready for you to come pick her up. Jade understands Freckles medical history as she is very sentative dog and will take personal care of your dog like it is her own dog. Jade also told me about Wysong dog food product and said this would be best for Freckles due to medical history on Freckles. I tried the Wysong dry dog food products and have been stop by other dog owners asking me what do you feed your dog she looks great and when I tell them Wysong they said I am going to switch my dog. Jade told me about home made food, I search the internet for homemade recipe food for Cocker Spaniel, made it for Freckles and she is doing wonderful on her homemade food and I still add in the wysong dry dog food. If I would get another dog I hoping Jade is still in business I would go to Jade. She is the BEST. Would recommend people to Jade.

Our doodles coat was longer than we wanted due to him having a prior leg injury so we had to wait to get him groomed longer than we normally would. That said, my boyfriend requested to go down half in length and to trim his nails. The words "shave him" were never said; however that is exactly what they did. I have never been so disappointed. Not only is he quite literally SHAVED his tail has a poof at the end that we never requested...not sure where that came from. I will NEVER be bringing him back here again. For reference, the one photo is what he looked like before and the other photo is how he came home. I'm sure you can guess which is which.

We specifically requested to keep his hair length still long/normal overall and just trim specifically notated areas for hygiene and to even the coat. We weren't provided any indication that the haircut may have 'accidentally' resulted in this new undesired length, instead we were just given our unrecognizable baby who depends on regulating his body temperature based on his dual coats... but with any coat left.
