I brought in a beaded dress that I originally just wanted cleaned. I was planning on getting it hemmed later at a different cleaners, but when I got the dress back, the beads had fallen off and it was honestly really bad. I was freaking out because I was planning to wear this dress for a friend's wedding. I took it to A1 Cleaners and they seriously saved my dress. They took the time to hand sew the beads back on, literally bead by bead, and were so careful with it. You could tell they actually cared and weren't rushing through it. After that, I decided to have them hem the dress too, and it came out perfect. The length was exactly what I wanted and everything looked clean and well done. I'm genuinely so grateful for the work they did. If you have anything delicate or detailed, I would 100% trust A1 Cleaners. They really know what they're doing. read more

I would give ZERO stats if I could! We had an alteration on a bridesmaid dress and they hemmed the inside of the fabric at least 6 inches but never hemmed the overlay of the chiffon so it was 6 inches too long. They are not a quality cleaner and can not do alterations. I would NEVER EVER use them again. If you value your clothing do not take it to them. read more

I had been using this Cleaners for many years, probably 15 or so, through at least 2 owners and have always been happy...until now. I took in my comforter style bedspread to be dry cleaned along with some other items. My husband picked it up and di not check it, so when I put it on the bed, it was quite wrinkled and looked like it had been laundered not dry cleaned. I took it back and told her it was wrinkled and looked like it had been laundered. The owner told me that it had been dry cleaned because of the braiding around it. I asked if they could press it or steam it...She was not happy but took it. I just went to pick it up and I asked if it looked any better? (Tough to tell all folded up in plastic?) THIS time she told me it had been laundered and then dry cleaned! She was having some trouble communicating as English is not her first language, so she got a young man from the back to help explain. She explained to him and then he told me that it had to be laundered because of the stains and the smell! THE STAINS AND THE SMELL! This is my King size Master Bedroom bedspread! Not from some kid's room. So, first she lied to me and told me it had been dry cleaned and then she insulted me. I understand mistakes, I really do, but be honest don't just make stuff up to cover your error. Very disappointed... Both there are plenty of other dry cleaners around here to try. read more

I brought a dress in for a wedding to be cleaned and the dress was the exact same. They also snagged the material from the hanger they used! The dry cleaner lady when asked if I could not pay immediately said I had too and was not very friendly. I don't appreciate her unkindness especially over a dress. read more

I was a fairly new client of this firm. Their cleaning services are quite expensive, but at least they do OK with that. The problem and the purpose of this review is that the off-site alteration service they use is REAL bad and the owners do not back up issues that occur through them. In the 3 months I was a client, I had 3 alteration issues in only 4 requests. The last one was the final straw: I took a brand new sweater in to have the sleeves shortened. They marked it while I wore the item. When I got the sweater, the sleeves were at least 4 inches too short, ruining the sweater. I complained asking them only for the alteration fee back (should have been for the whole sweater). The owners refused and after talking back and forth in Korean in front of me (they both speak English too), they had the gall to blame me somehow for their issue and refused the refund. Never again - clearly a disreputable business. read more

I really wanted to like this cleaners. Several of my "picky" friends said super positive things. So, I took a custom-made bedspread to them. It was returned to me very clean and lovely looking. However, it no longer fits the bed. It shrunk. I took it back twice and offered to pay extra for their time to stretch it, but it still does not fit the bed. Trust me, it was extremely expensive spread. Now it's an extremely expensive unusable spread. If you want shirts done, I'm sure they'll be fine. Sweaters, skirts or slacks, probably the same. But I would not trust them with drapes, spreads or valuable items. That said, I will not return for any services. read more

We've been coming to this cleaners for years. I've never had a complaint up until now. I was given a " something blue " handkerchief for my wedding and my new husband put it in the pocket of his tux. He also had another handkerchief in the pocket of his tux which was embroidered with our wedding date. When the tux was returned to us the handkerchief that was embroidered was also returned. However, the other handkerchief was mysteriously lost. I ask to be reimbursed $20 so I can purchase the same handkerchief. They acted like they didn't understand what I was saying. We spend over $100 a month at this cleaners and have been for many years. I think $20 isn't a lot to ask for a lost item. They may have lost a customer. read more

My family has been using A-1 for over 20 years for dry cleaning & alterations. We were very happy with their service. The last time I left 3 Tommy Bahama shirts & brought home as usual, I was shocked how 2 shirts were stained & never cleaned. One was stained with brown marks & starched. When I came back to show the owner that the 2 of 3 shirts were not cleaned, he insisted that they could not have done that & that I probably got them dirty in the couple of days I had them & was bringing them back for a freebie. He refused to take any responsibility for the damage. I took them to a different cleaner who said that both shirts were burned. They are ruined & cannot be restored. read more

I've been coming to this cleaners for just short of a year. Never had a complaint until now. We brought a total of 19 items in and when we picked up we're given someone else's clothing and only 5 pieces of our clothing. We brought back the other customers belongings and picked up all our pants 9 pair. The problem is they have lost 5 shirts. I've spoke to the owner who has said "what do you want me to do?" I'm getting the run around and being avoided. I've also had my intelligence insulted by both the owner and her employee. These are not 10$ Walmart shirts! They are expensive and they were practically brand new. I will continue to fight this and if they do the RIGHT thing I will give them another review but right now how they have handled this is very unprofessional. I would expect a little better customer service especially from a small business owner. It shows such lack of respect for their customers and certainly no honor in their word. Sad, very sad. read more
