She said it was a typo. Why am I responsible for your typo? I decided not to order anything and just sit with my friend while she ate.. the waitress came back about five minutes later and said that they would honor the menu and give me the ricotta. So, instead of leaving, I ordered my calzone. That might have been one of the best calzones I ever I had in my life. I will add this restaurant to the list of restaurants that I make sure I visit whenever I come into town. Next time I come, I hope they have fixed that menu or I'm going to cite this review and this picture.

Subway has survived, somehow, and I'm quite thankful. Belchertown's "restaurants" section of the phone book is pretty slim pickins. The interior is modern, clean, with lots of seating available. I've never had to wait more than 2-3 minutes to order, as there's hardly ever a line. Thankfully, this Subway is always staffed with at least two people on the sandwich line. What sets this Subway apart-- for me-- is that everything is so well stocked and FRESH every time I walk in the door: drinks, chips, sandwich toppings, bread. I consistently see them "picking out" unsightly browned lettuce, wilted spinach, and mismatched toppings that have fallen into the wrong container. If you're like me, nothing grosses you out more than icky lettuce. The staff could use a little pep talk, their energy levels are pretty low. I mean, I get that they're working at Subway and not some Michelin star restaurant, but they really are doing a great job at sandwich making. So... you know, kudos. One thing, though... can we please all start calling them pepperoncinis? deferring to banana peppers is just so... erroneous... even though (apparently) the box they come in at Subway apparently denotes them as banana peppers. I asked to talk to the manager and got a call back from a rude person who claimed to be the owner and to sum it up he said that I placed the order and they fulfilled it and he would not give me a refund! Then he hung up on me!!! Total unprofessionalism!!! How can he think that it is okay to charge $31 for a 2 topping medium pizza that goes for $6.99 and not correct the error? Will never go back to this place again!!
