Their pizza is really good when they choose to serve it warm. Three straight visits for a slice-to-go resulted in pizza that was cold in the middle. The third time, I just gave it back to them and walked away. Not a fan of stupid Fox News always playing in the place, either. Excellent wings, baked, tender loaded with sauce. The buffalo sauce w garlic are unbelievably good Meatballs are good size with sauce and mozzarella cheese. The best I've had in the area. Got an eggplant sub which was good but not exceptional. It could have had a little more sauce and been done a little more to a melt in the mouth level, or else been nice and crispy. The line was short and the pizza was amazing! This is a locally owned pizza shop and all of the I gradients are fresh and full of flavor. The crust isn't as thick as it looks, it's in between a pan and hand tossed thickness but the fresh meats and veggies are what give the pizza it's depth. Village Never Disappoints! In town right surprise my brother for his 50th and there is always the after party at Village! The dining area was close to closing so we ordered it to go. When we got there, they knew my brother and allowed our party to sit down and eat. Man was the pizza good!! Ordered takeout here: a couple of pizza pies & buffalo wings (mild & spicy). Living in New York, I suppose you can say I'm a bit spoiled by how great the pizza is there but I tried to be as fair as I could with what was given. The pizza was ok, average but nothing I would say stood out. All the chicken ordered on the pizza was folded into the pizza so it didn't look like there was any chicken on it, but there was. The pizza is cut into squares which is ideal for parties so they can taste several differently types of pizza toppings but I was taken aback when I first saw it since its an unusual way to cut a pizza ( for me, at least). The wings, I found tasted pretty good with a side of bleu cheese. However, I was appalled when I went to pick up my order and found that no one was wearing a mask but one employee and even that employee was wearing the mask on her chin. I think in times like this, it is unacceptable to do that, so it's safe to say I will not be coming back here, if I am ever in town. read more

Village has been a staple in Greenfield for decades and their pizza is always consistently good. Generous toppings and cheese, making "extra cheese please" unnecessary. They are being sold to new owners who claim they will follow the successful recipes; we all hope that proves true. But on a recent (12/2022) visit I found their prices increased a whopping 24%! Yikes! There is NO reason for a price hike that large all of a sudden. Although their pizza is good, I will be buying less often due to the increased cost. read more

Family owned and operated in the same location since 1974. I've eaten pizza at Village Pizza since 1982. The one thing that has not changed in the last 33 years is the great tasting pies. They have changed the crust a bit opting for more of a deep-dish, Chicago styled pie and they have added some glitzy, non-traditional red sauce based pies as well as an expanded red sauce based pie selection. Bbq chicken and buffalo chicken pizza come to mind. They have updated the establishment and it looks really nice from the "old days" I remember as a youth. Bathroom was clean and modern with one of those new-fangled hand dryers. One thing I would have liked to have seen was a little more full service. They have a supremely brisk take-out business and a small dining area but, drinks are still served in the can or bottle. They have no ice to pour it over. When I asked for a cup, I was handed a tiny little disposable cup. Really? The cup was about the size of a cup you get at a water cooler. Overall, a great dining experience along with great tasting pizza just don't ask for ice. read more

Dropped in to Village Pizza tonight to try them out for the first time, and have to say I was neither impressed nor dissatisfied. The pizzas we bought were good but were a bit greasy. When I ordered they gave me a reasonable wait time, and the pizzas were done before that time. I would have to say that the quality is ok, but these pies aren't anything to write home about. The parking was tough since it is situated on the hill near the train bridge and the price was a bit high for the quantity. Overall the pizza was ok, and the staff seemed pleasant enough. read more

This is IMO the best place for pizza. I'm gonna be honest it's my favorite place to go. The other menu choices are also very good. The lasagna is another favorite of mine.
