Holy Smokes! This place is great! Ok, so to quote my mother: "This place is a mix of dracula's castle, and a cosy mexican cabin." What a mix, but very much true. It's super cosy, great place for a date. It's dark with colors of burgundy throughout. The lamps that look to be decades old are actually chianti bottles. I find it funny that the wallpaper (that also looks to be decades old) is of Mexican landscapes and yet they serve Italian food. Even the sign outside is a dude wearing a Mexican sombrero yet it's a pizza and spaghetti house. Gotta love that. They have free parking across the street. You come in, sit where you like, and they'll bring you a menu and silverware. The pizza is different than what you normally see in most places. It's super thin crust. You remember Boboli pizza crust? Something like that but man... it was very good. We got the caramelized onion pizza, and it was really great. A lot better than what anyone of us was expecting. But let me tell you what the star was at Dracula's mexican castle, the shrimp scampi pasta. Oh my word... This was honestly the best version of shrimp scampi I've had. Once they brought out that plate, you immediately could smell the wine. They do it right, it was absolutely delicious. Buttery, garlicky (to dracula's demise) Shrimp cooked perfectly. I'm drooling as I write this and wanna go over there to relive that moment. I'm just upset that in all the time I've been coming to visit Western MA, It took me this long to give this place a shot. That's a mistake that wont be repeated. Also, my brother ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and I could see how tender the meatballs were. He says it was some of the best he's ever had. Come give this hidden treasure a shot.

This local hotspot gave us out of towners a good meal after a long day. We had attempted to dine here the night before but the very long line and the paucity of parking temporarily dissuaded us. The next night we finished our activities earlier so we gave it another go. It is definitely a popular local spot featuring pizzas and pastas in a quirky locale. We watched some scrumptious looking pizzas emerge from the kitchen but my heart was set on pasta with a white broth and my dining companion went for the lasagna. I have included pictures that barely do the dishes justice. In truth the experience deserves 3 1/2 stars for unpretentious food that walks the line between cheap and expensive. It is a local hangout as noted earlier and the locals are loud so not a place for intimate conversations. The Mexican themed decor gives it a funky vibe. I would go back to sample the pizza, just to see if it tastes as good as it looks.

This is a great place to go for pasta and pizza. Casual atmosphere. Family-friendly. Good service. Nice beer list with local brews. I had a local English Brown Ale that was wonderful. Good food at a good price. We had wings as an appetizer. They were meaty and flavorful. Hubby enjoyed the Chicken Saltimbocca. My daughter had the Mexican Pizza and liked it. I had the eggplant parmesan and kinda wished I'd ordered something else. The eggplant was heavily breaded - more breading than eggplant. (I would have preferred no breading and should have asked before I ordered.) They do have gluten-free pasta for those who need it. We had their homemade creamy garlic dressing on our salads - delicious. And the garlic bread was very tasty. A half loaf was more than enough for the three of us. Ample portions. We took a lot of food home. We'll definitely be back.

Not many people in the place for dinner time, but it is a large dining area; very pretty inside. From there, not much to brag about. Service was non-existent. Either flagging out waiter down, or never seeing anyone in the dining area. Started with the crab cake, which was done with claw meat and not lumb crab. Very little taste...maybe from being overcooked? Looked and tasted more like a mackerel patty. Also had the carpaccio, which was cut super thin, and probably about an ounce of meat...again, no flavor at all. For the main meal, my wife had the salmon and I had the filet. I lump these together, since the thought is the same. Overcooked and lacking flavor. Mine was supposed to be medium, but was very close to well done with no juice or color left in the steak. I would have sent it back, but no one came anywhere near our table for at least 10-15 minutes since the entrees were served. I had one cocktail...would have had at least one more if anyone would have come by the table again. Pretty place, but there has to be better places for a nice meal close by.

Busy place early afternoon, but my wait time only about 10 minutes. Lobster roll excellent, the smallish bun being overstuffed. I ordered the onion rings instead of fries and was disappointed that they were NOT onion rings. Onion strings (or some people call them onion straws) were given. Large mass of oily straws. Open year-round, although reduced hours off-season. Interesting menu, with various hot dog, chicken, and seafood options. I would rate the lobster roll as 4.5, and the glob of onions as a 2.5. Overall, 4 stars.

Lobster was tender and flavorful with not an over abundant amount of mayo just the tiniest bit to hold everything together and it was tender, flavorful, and overall delicious. Arnold Palmer wasn't powdered lemonade either, it was perfectly fresh and not overly sweet. Then shop at the Amazing food co-op next door. Looking forward to our next trip here. We got there around 1:40 p.m. and they closed at 2, so my friend was a little worried, but we were still welcomed and the staff was very friendly. It's a small place, but I actually liked that it felt cozy. We ordered 12 oysters, two orders of gumbo, a kale Caesar salad, the catfish special to split, and a bourbon-based drink. The oysters were $2 each, which I thought was a pretty good deal. The gumbo was really, really good. It came out a little lukewarm, but the flavor was absolutely there 10/10. The oysters were fresh and also 10/10. The bourbon drink was another standout. The presentation was beautiful, the little flower was such a nice touch, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The kale Caesar was where things dipped a little. It was pretty dry, so we asked for extra dressing, but the dressing didn't really add much flavor. When our waitress checked in, we were honest and said it just wasn't our favorite. I hate sending food back or complaining. I'll usually just stop eating it but she was so kind and apologetic. What really stood out was how they handled it. They told us they were taking the salad off the bill, which they absolutely did not have to do. We had planned to just take the one we had already eaten from home and fix it ourselves, but one of the staff members made us a completely new salad to go. She even massaged the kale so it was actually tender and enjoyable. That was such a thoughtful touch. The catfish was a hit for my friend. It wasn't my favorite, but I still ate it. Overall, I would definitely come back. Next time I'd probably keep it simple; oysters, gumbo, and a drink and I'd be happy. The service was phenomenal, and honestly, service really makes a place. Feeling welcomed and comfortable matters, and this place absolutely gave that.

Our server was equally delightful--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations. Now, the food: outstanding. We started with the beets and peas salad, which was bursting with flavor--our plates were practically licked clean. The house arugula salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly balanced with a light, lemony vinaigrette. For mains, we shared the roasted half chicken and the bucatini. Both were phenomenal. I rarely order chicken at restaurants since it often feels too plain, but this one was perfection--crispy skin, juicy meat, and seasoning that carried through every bite. The bucatini, made with homemade pasta and loaded with crispy pancetta, was absolutely irresistible. We couldn't resist finishing with the "Little Mason Jar" dessert, which was indulgent and delicious. Everything--from the service to the food to the ambiance--was exceptional. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to the area
