He ended up charging me $300 and had it done in about an hour. I've avoided dealers for many years because of this crap and I'm sorry I came in. I asked him about a discount due to the extended wait time and walk-ins being serviced before me and he said there would be no discount. I would never recommend this particular location to anyone that needs service quickly. Very poor customer service, I know if I make someone wait 2X or 3X longer than they should have waited then I would issue my deepest apologies and a discount. The male Manager at this store did neither he just stood there with a confused look on his face as to why I was asking for a discount. We were driving on the highway, this Mavis has an excellent location, on the way up north when we ran over a random tire in the middle of the road. it Damaged some parts of the car. we went there on a Saturday. It was pretty busy. Service was polite and excellent. We got seen rather quickly and we really appreciate that. The guy who worked on our car, I'm not sure his name, was friendly and fast and efficient and accurate. I wish I'd gotten his name, but he was a very nice, fit, bald Caucasian male. he knew a lot about cars and made our experience and our time worth it. I wish I had gotten his name :/ we had an excellent experience there. Plus the auto shop is clean. They have a nice area and there's plenty of parking. We pulled in 45 minutes before they closed. They were literally the kindest people. They fixed our car which had too much transmission fluid in it, causing it to overheat (which was filled by the dealership mechanic). They had to stay late past their closing time and allowed myself, two children, and dog to wait while they quickly worked on the car and for an extremely reasonable price. I have never had such a positive experience. I only wish I lived closer to give them all of my business.
