I just picked up my latest order from APS and once again the order was perfect. All the t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, jackets and other merchandise I bought were done correctly with a very reasonable turnaround. Excellent screen printing and embroidery! From the initial design to the completion of the order, APS sets the bar very high for any other promotional companies. Her rudeness is irritating. The only reason I continued to shop there was for her employees Laura, Amy and Cheryl. Mainly I continued to shopped there because of Laura, she has a fantastic eye for color and was always willing to go above and beyond to help me with fabric selections or issues with my machine. She is a quilter and was always so encouraging to try new patterns and techniques. Many times I would call ahead and ask if Paula was in before I headed to the shop. In my opinion she treats her employees like dirt and her customers rudely as well. Laura, my favorite employee resigned recently. I will not be returning to Paula's and I have several friends who also will not return now that Laura is no longer associated with this shop. There are other fabric shops in Jacksonville and a Bernina dealer in St. Augustine who is 100% better than Paula.

When you walk in, you'll see a retail sales section where you can get shirts, hoodies, sports trophies, and other school-related gear. Through another door, you'll see their screen printing area, where you can get custom print and engraving jobs done. They also offer custom embroidery onto the clothing of your choice, and it can include your favorite school, team, or a corporate logo. I've used them several times over the years. We've done one printing job with them so far (wedding invitations). I've gotten custom engraving onto metal plates to create personalized gifts. Most often, though, I get shirts embroidered there. I'll find a few shirts that I like while we're out and about, and I just bring them in, and they embroider our work logo right on it. My last order took about 8 business days to turn around, which was a little ahead of what they'd estimated. I've been very satisfied with everything they've done for us. They provide a good service, and a very good value for that service. If you are sensitive to strong smells, I do recommend going in through the retail shop. If you walk into the print shop, just be aware that it very clearly smells like a print shop. The retail portion of the business is protected from that.
