I don't know how they got such good ratings. I paid the price for a professional painter but they sent a little guy who certainly was not professional. He painted for 2 days and spent and 3 days trying to correct his mistakes. He had made such a mess of the painting and clean up. There was no way he could correct all of the problems. He didn't loosen any hardware but masked it off with regular masking tape. So everything leaked around the edges. Truly disappointed. Attached photos are just a tip of the iceberg. We are selling our house so put out an interior paint quote request for about 5 companies through Yelp! Oscar was the 1st to respond, the 1st to make an appointment on the same day & the only one who advised me not to paint the interior of our house. Instead of painting, he suggested cleaning the walls, doors,etc & do touch up painting. Most new owners are going to paint the house in colors they want. If we chose to do major touch-ups, he offered to help us rent the necessary equipment and hire some of his staff to do the painting. Oscar was the most thorough of all the other companies contacted. I painted my entire house myself, but could not reach the stairwell areas with my ladder. Oscar from A4 was one of only a handful to even consider such a small job. With a short video of the area needing painting he was able to quote me over the phone; the majority of our correspondence was by text. Within a week he was able to send two representatives (Arturo and Omar) in the evening. They came on time and said they could complete the job that evening (I was only expecting a quote). I agreed and the painters began prepping the area. I was asked to call Oscar and the price then jumped $100 more dollars, which I did not agree to because it was not what he or the painters quoted. After 15 minutes or so Oscar agreed on the original quote and requested in return that I leave a review on multiple platforms. Overall, I would rate the work as very good. After the area had time to fully dry I noticed streaks on the ceiling and one on the wall (unlike the areas I painted on my own, which are streak-free), which can be seen in certain light. The painters were incredibly kind and they completed the small job in about two hours. I worried about the area that was being painted because of the carpeting and wood banisters; the painters did an excellent job of covering and protecting these areas and left the stairwell in great condition which I appreciate. As a critique, the painters came without masks so I provided them with disposable masks; this is an oversight on A4s side, as we are living in a pandemic and I find it important to mask up even though I'm fully vaccinated. I'm thankful that A4 took on this small job. read more

A 4 did a fantastic job! My husband and I usually do our own painting, and we were hesitant to spend the extra money hiring painters, but these guys were well worth it. We have 17 foot high ceilings in the room they painted, and we wanted an accent wall in a fairly dark green. My house has been in need of a paint job for years. I've owned the house since 1995 and was still looking at the original paint. I finally decided to pull the trigger and have some estimates done. I went to Yelp, picked a painter in my area and submitted. Yelp gave me 3 more painters and A4 Painting Plus was one of the companies. Within in 20 mins of submitting, I received a message from Oscar about setting up a date and time to do the estimate. I was very impressed with his attention to detail, and he answered all of my questions. He took measurements around the whole house. I have a large sunroom enclosure and I asked about the possibility of changing the back wall of the house (which is stucco) to drywall to match the interior walls of the house. He advised me to keep the stucco and his team could change the texture to more evenly match my interior walls. When it came to the estimate, he sat in his truck for approximately 20-30 mins and came back with a detailed estimate. (I had to wait 2-3 days for the other companies to send me their estimates). Based on the estimate and the his availability, I decided to go with A4 Plus Painting and couldn't be happier. We had an idea of the colors we wanted but Oscar was able to give us inputs that really made our decision easier. His team was always on time or 15-20 mins early. They even installed new lighting fixtures and door handles that I purchased. They also do other jobs besides painting, and I will definitely look to A4 Painting Plus first.
