In December, they did a fantastic job with cleaning my 1960s orange couch that had all of a sudden become a pee spot for my dog. They were able to schedule me pretty fast despite being really busy recently. They also cleaned a corner connector that makes the two couches one for free so that all pieces would look the same. Beyond nice, professional and incredibly prompt. They got back to me with an accurate quote within the hour, and I had an appointment set up for the next day. They saved my couch from after my cat peed on the cushions while I was out of town. I did not expect them to not pick up that late - that's fine, I just wanted to leave a message. A guy called me this morning (fast! Thanks - I think, see below) to explain they are usually booked up 1.5 weeks in advance. I can understand that these guys must be good to be booked that far in advance. It's also good for other people to know this first, as other reviews on Yelp mentioned them being available last minute. I, my wife, and my baby don't really appreciate the 4:30 AM Pacific Time call. Since I found them on Yelp it's only fair I write a review on them. The owner Glen is awesome to work with. As someone that has to 3rd party out services I wanted to insure I was hiring a good company. I called his cell phone after not receiving an answer on the business line. He took the time to answer my questions and in return had many questions for me as to the condition of the sofa that needing cleaning. I asked that he contact my customer directly and/or I would have the customer call him as I didn't have have the answers. The issue with my customer was resolved within a week and he turned a rather ugly situation into a happy customer. Since my dog probably sits on my couch more than I do and had an unfortunate accident that regular household cleaners couldn't quite handle, I decided to contact A-Abace to see if they could save my couch before it went to the dumpster. I called and spoke to Glen, who gave me the rundown on their process, including the green/pet safe products they use. I explained I needed the service done asap and he was able to schedule my appointment for the next morning. Glen and his partner were awesome! They arrived a couple minutes early, setup and got to work. They were very pleasant to talk to and I learned a lot about why steam cleaning is bad and why you shouldn't use lint rollers on the couch (leaves glue behind that acts as a magnet). The entire process took about 40 minutes and my couch looked great and smelled so fresh and clean! The final cost was accurate according to the quote I received over the phone. I had Glen from A-Abace out to clean my sofa and he and his team did an excellent job. They actually specialize in cleaning heavily soiled (think puke and urine) carpet and upholstery. My sofa wasn't gross like that, just in need of a deep cleaning from day to day stains. It's also a very light cream colored sofa so stains show up fairly easily. I called A-Abace and they were very friendly and helpful and was able to send Glen out the very next day to clean my sofa. They also gave me a very reasonable tentative quote over the phone. Glen was very polite and professional and explained the cleaning and sanitizing process. They got right to work, and were able to get even the tough stains out of my sofa! It looks brand new! They were in and out in an hour and didn't leave a mess and even gave me some tips on how to spot clean it in teh future. And the best part is, they had a special going and only charged me $85! This is after I had gotten a few quotes of more than $200 from other companies for the exact same cleaning service. I high recommend this company. These guys rock! I called them for a couch that needed to be cleaned. I have 4 dogs and one of the poor pups threw up on my microsuede sofa. Glen told me the process he used to clean the sofa with all green products. He and his partner showed up, said hi to my dogs (which was SO adorable) and got to work. They provided an accurate quote over the phone and booked the appointment for three days later. They called ahead of the appointment to see whether it was more convenient to come earlier (it was) and they then managed in three hours to restore two chairs, a sofa and a bedroom carpet to former glories. After the process they took time to move everything back and provide instructions on maintenance. We had friends over for dinner that night who asked about our "new" sofa. He called me within an hour or so of requesting a quote and took the time to find out exactly what I was needing. He explained the process and explained exactly what set his technique apart. I got several quotes and ended up choosing him for his customer service, which was also echoed when he and another guy came to do the job. In the past I have gone through 3 or 4 carpet cleaners and certain stains never came out -- not so with brothers Glenn and Tom. Both were professional and proud of their work and very knowledgeable. These guys are the best. I had them clean the carpet in my room, 2 area rugs a couch and a chair. All of them had some stains from dirt and dog urine. All of that stuff is gone now (until my dog just peed on it again as I was writing this)! They were very friendly and Glenn told me he is a fellow "clean freak" so I knew I was in good hands. I had my carpet "cleaned" with a service through a groupon a few months back and all they did was steam it, left a bunch of stains and didn't really clean it at all, just got it wet. After reading all of the great reviews about A-Abace Cleaning Services, I was really looking forward to contacting them about cleaning my new apartment, which needs some detailed floor cleaning. I called them Monday evening and was told immediately that they do not clean wood floors anymore. When I asked why, especially since their website clearly states that they do clean wood floors, I never received an answer and was hung up on. Needless to say it was a very unpleasant experience which lasted no longer than 2 whole minutes.
