These guys are the real deal! This is the kind of old school place that has stacks and stacks of keys and I've had many positive experiences with them over the years. This time they were able to cut and program a key fob for my 2021 forte while I waited. They quoted me a price over the phone that I felt was fair and when I got there and they looked at everything, it was even less. They could've just charged me the price they quoted and I wouldn't have known any different. It just goes to show the integrity of the people there. This is the kind of small business that is disappearing. They have expertise, they're honest, they're friendly, and they're fast. It's almost unheard of in this day and age. I needed a key fob for my 2014 Audi Q5. The dealer wanted $650. I called other locksmith in Northeast Ohio and was continuously told that I needed to go to the dealer. The Best locksmith in Akron! if they can't do it no one else can. they can make almost any key, they can pick safes, they're open when they say they're going to be open, they take credit cards and they don't over charge customers like most locksmiths do. we have a construction business with lots of trucks and lots of keys and abracadabra always helps us. A-Abra-Cadabra has been a life-saver! I have relied on them for over 20 years. Once, they made a house call when my fob stopped working, and my key froze up. They literally saved me from having to take several days off work and having my car towed. They always get me back on the road. Today, I took our nephew's truck to Abra-Cadabra because there was an issue starting it. They diagnosed it as an issue with the ignition... NOT the key. They offered to replace the ignition for us... These guys do everything, even automotive. The choices for me to get a key cut and programmed for my 2003 Honda Accord where a 24/7 provider, a dealership or Abracadabra. When I asked for quotes the dealership and 24/7 mobile lock service asked for 165$+ The price for getting my key cut and programmed at Abracadabra? 53$. The staff were extremely friendly and you can tell they know what they are doing, Isiah was able to cut and program a key I bought myself with no problem. Even if I move out of the Akron area, if I ever need automotive key/lock service needs, I'll make the trip to this shop. read more

These guys really came through! Lost the only RF chipped key I had for an Avalon, had the car towed to a Toyota dealer in Akron & was told by the dealer I would have to replace the computer in order to get a new key, all in all the dealer wanted to charge nearly $1,200. Someone from the Arkon police gave me the name of A-Abra-Cadabra who was able to make a key on site at the dealer's lot w/o changing the computer, the job was done quickly and saved a lot dollars. Wow...this place is amazing! I needed a Ford Key cut and it couldn't be done at Walmart so I looked around online for a auto locksmith. The ones I found online wanted $200 for a new key. We really just needed a 3rd key for our new driver. We bought the key fob and key online for $25.00 and after I brought in the other 2 keys they cut the key and programmed it for darn near nothing! I had agreed to paying for a new key (which was a very decent price)from them but after seeing that the key I had would work they just charged me for a key cut! My husband lost a set of our tow vehicle keys. We ordered blank key and remote on Amazon after getting the price of a new key from the dealer. We struggled to find a locksmith who was able to cut the key and program our chipped key. I was thrilled when I heard about this place. I went to the store site and had this done. Within a half hour I drove away with my new key! The gentleman was nice, worked quickly and also programmed my remote for me while I was there.
