They add their own insurance to what you are already paying. It's doesn't begin to cover what I have stored there. Also I did not sign up for auto pay but they suddenly signed me up for it and refused to take it off after I told them to. Can't wait to get my stuff out of there. read more

This location is the absolute worst storage facility that I have ever dealt with. The customer service skills of the female manager have been anything but welcoming. She is not only rude, ignorant in her job skills, overbearing, interrupting in conversation and hangs up on her customers rather than taking the time to listen with understanding as any professional business should do. I pay $100.00 per month to store everything in which I own in an 8x20 unit due to moving out of state because my daughter is joining the military and I needed to be closer until she leaves. I am very unsatisfied as well as uncomfortable in continuing my business with this location and do not feel that my belongings are safe. *DO NOT RENT FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT! read more

When moving in, management promised me that my annual rent increases would be only a few dollars. However, they have been raising my rent as much as 14% in a single year. They are not trustworthy. They won't even respond to my last 2 emails asking about my latest rent increase. I would recommend demanding a written agreement for future rate increases from whatever storage center you rent from when moving in. read more

Rented a unit from this establishment and found a different storage unit very quickly. Staff is very unpleasant to talk to and they will lock you in the gate promptly at 6pm. If you try to leave the property at 6:01 the man will come out screaming at you like you just killed his dog and refuse to let you out. Then you have to call the police and have them let you out of the gate, and the next day you are finding another storage unit because you can't support this business. Good luck read more

This storage facility overlooks Idyllwild Mt, and orange trees. Can't get any better than that! I stored at this facility I believe was in 2009 or earlier. The facility is clean and quiet. This company has been the only storage company I have ever stored my belongings at in Hemet. The free move in truck beats any other place. The man who runs security is extremely hostile. One rainy day in September the gate did not work. I went to inform the office and asked if I could use the phone to call my husband. My cell phone had died and I was stuck behind the gate and my car was stalling because of the rain. The man who is security verbally attacked me and said that he could not help me because he was on his lunch break. His profanity and word choice was uncalled for. I decided to forgive the man and figured we all have bad days. I went back a month later to find him yelling and cursing at a woman who had just lost her mom and she was cleaning out her storage unit. I stopped to ask what was wrong and she was in tears saying the security has harassed her all morning. I advise you not to use this place for storage. The man who runs the security is unprofessional, has no customer service, and is easily aggravated. read more

as I read these reviews for this storage facility, I am seeing how old these reviews are, and feel they need to be deleted for the fact that those employees who sound dreadful, and upset these customers above.... they no longer work at that particular A American Storage facility any longer also I wish to say that the staff there now , I myself rent from , are absolutely wonderful. They are very helpful, courteous, and even tempered as well as far from vulgar . Most even tempered management team I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Not only have I NEVER ONCE HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY BELONGS BEING TAMPERED WITH, I PERSONALLY HAVE NEVER SEEN EITHER ADRIAN OR BRIAN SHOW ANYTHING BUT A GREAT PRIDE IN THEIR ROLE AS, A AMERICAN STORE'S "MANAGEMENT TEAM". They cruse the property regularly, as I witness every time I am in my storage unit . sometimes Im going thru it for hours and they watch the place carefully., up and down every isle. Also these young men are very capable of calming someone down who may try to start a verbal assault on them. Very calm and very well mannered and very professional. I know from my own , personal experiences with them, and I've been their tenant , well over a year now. probably closer to two years really.
