If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I have never found a body shop before with the nicest, most knowledgeable staff that are only there to fix your car. As a woman, it is incredibly difficult to find a shop where you not only feel heard but respected. A & A is that place. I went for an oil change not that long ago at another shop. At the end, the tech told me he had noticed that I had an oil leak. He had dripped some oil around and left my oil cap off to further prove his point. He quoted his "good deal." I drove around terrified for a few days, checking the levels way more often than necessary, worrying that running errands could ruin my car. I finally called A&A in a panic. The man (the owner, I believe) who answered the phone really listened to me, and called me an hour after I dropped it off to tell me that I did not have an oil leak at all! There was a teeny little part that needed to be replaced, my car would be ready by early afternoon... OH, and A&A charged me half of the oil change tech's "good deal." I tell EVERYONE how wonderful this place is, and it is so great to have a trustworthy auto shop in town. :) Please do not ever go out of business! read more

I was recommended this place by a coworker. I brought my car in for a noise that the car was making. They said it was the lower control arms. I was also having issues with my other vehicle with the A/C, brought that in the same week to get both cars back to normal. We told them it could be the compressor. They stated it was a fan that went out. Then a couple days later the car still wasn't blowing cold air. Brought it back and they THEN said it was the compressor. We fixed it and now when the car is idle, the A/C doesn't blow cold air. Basically the car has to be running at a certain speed for it to blow cold air. I'm guessing the condenser is the issue now but you would think as an auto repair place they would check THE WHOLE SYSTEM. Almost $2000 later, one car is still making the same noise and the other's A/C isn't working. The people are nice, I'll give them that. It's so hard to find a good mechanic. Mom & Pop auto shop, run by their son who evidently grew up in a garage. First time in, I needed them to check engine light. The guys diagnosed my problem and had me back on the street in no time. Had my car towed to AA auto repair for insurance claim I called Xavier and they said they could do the work but the insurance adjuster had to give it inspection .I had the car towed Thursday the inspector came Friday around 2 pm did his inspection then the determined they was not going to fix the repairs i called Hyundai they said the engine had recalls then i told the shop I had was calling a tow the tow came to late and couldn't tow the vehicle when they came back on Monday the car wasn't there Xavier impounded my car on Friday and didn't tell me claiming the owner wanted my car moved it took place only two hours after the adjuster left they didn't put it on a scale it was in a parking spot and i didn't find out until that Monday when my impound fee was 670 dollars a few days later I got my car out the impound 740 dollars when the tow truck company went to tow my vehicle the keys were no longer In the ignition I called Xavier a numerous amount of times and they claimed to give the keys to the tow truck who also disagreed on the car keys why did they impound my car and why did Xavier not call me back this had been stressing me out despite me just loosing 2 siblings and less then 6 months and I need my car to get to school and work they also don't wanna cover the balance for my car keys on top of not paying for the impound taking my car to AA has single handedly ruined my week and cost me money for no reason I'm not lying about anything they impounded my car and lost my car keys with in 2 hours the car was last in procession of A&A if anybody could get one answer why did he not call me and inform me he was gonna impound my car and why was my car impounded in a 2-3 hour radius after the insurance adjuster left And how can you do something like this to a client who chose to trust you read more

My brakes started screeching while driving down the highway after a stop. I had a window stuck down that wouldn't roll up, my last mechanic charged me $75 to pull it up...these guys, well let's just say they took very good care of me AND they unplugged it. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. I get into my car in my way to work and get a low tire pressure notification. I check and see there is a nail in one of the passenger tires. Luckily A&A was close. I arrive and Xavier was very courteous and professional. He saw that I was on my way to work and quickly began to work to patch my tire. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I will definitely be returning for future car needs. Mike from A & A Auto Repair shop really saved my life! My friends and I were going on a road trip up to Tallahassee, and we wanted to stop by Tampa for lunch. We were driving from Broward to Tampa so it was quite the distance. 14 minutes from arriving to a restaurant in Tampa for lunch, I hit a ditch and that caused the left side of my car to create this repeated crackling noise to occur when I drove over 40 miles per hour. I was someone who had no experience with the internal structures of cars. I definitely regret not learning more about my car. So being a group of three college girls, we went to the nearest car repair shop, which thankfully was A & A Auto Repair. When we got there, we were directed to a heavily decorated office. There were many things hung up from the past and the interior design reflected the disco era years. The desk was basically designed as a car and so were some of the seats. And there, we met Mike, who was super helpful and understanding. Mike probably got the feeling that we didn't know much about cars so he explained a lot of things for us. He easily identified the issue by one quick look and fixed what he could for us. He directed us to Firestone so we could get identical wheels to the original ones. He gave us his time and service for FREE, which we really appreciated. His advice led us to firestone which in the end we got two new tires and a re-alignment done. This was my first time at a car repair shop and I was glad it was with Mike and A & A auto repair shop! Amazing help with great people working there! read more

Recently my 2011 G37 convertible had a water pump leak. On this car it's big job. The. Pump is located behind the timing belt. Mike and the guys knocked it out in a day in a half! Change all the necessary parts and got me back on the road quick. That way I've been coming here for at least 8 years now. They are always friendly and understanding. Jack Safie of A & A Auto Repair is the most honest, professional, nicest mechanic I've dealt with in 25 years of owning cars. He was recommended to me by my brother in law and I've been taking my car to Jack for 4 years now. He's always eager to help me out and I've never had to deal with the "laundry list" of things that need to be fixed when I take my car in for maintenance, etc. They do great work there and even though they're always busy, they always take the time to listen to your requests and then they even ask you about your family and how you've been since the last time they saw you! Jack doesn't overcharge or take advantage in any way and, as a woman dealing with a mechanic, that's almost a miracle! I recommend Jack Safie and his shop to everyone! read more

These guys are great!! i called in at 9 am on a friday to see if there was anyway to get my car in and checked out before the weekend. I wasnt sure what was wrong (i figured it was my brake pads needing a change) so i took my car in at 11 and he called me tell me he could get everything done by 6 pm the same day! Being a young female, i wasnt sure really what to expect with car troubles, but he explained everything to me and even showed me my old brake pads to compare to what they needed to be. We were on vacation and my ac went out. I looked up to find an auto repair shop near by. There were at least a dozen of repairshops. I saw A&A repairshop with great reviews. I decided to go to them and they were great! They checked my ac system out and it was working at the time. They told me that the ac and heating switch could be the problem. Since the ac was working at the time, they did not fix anything. They told me to enjoy my vacation and did not charge me anything to check my ac out. I would highly recommend them. read more

My parents own a car repair shop up in Minnesota, which has been in the family for 115 years. Growing up, my parents always prided themselves on providing quality repairs on what NEEDED to be repaired and nothing else, and not incentivising employees to try and sell the customer on repairs that didn't need to be done. When I moved down to Florida almost 4 years ago, I was reluctant to bring my car in because I know how hard it is to find an honest mechanic. Which was proven when I went to two other shops that handed me a laundry list of repairs (none of which turned out to be necessary). Luckily, fate (and a blown out tire) brought me to A & A Auto, where I encountered some of the greatest, most hard working and honest people! These guys are awesome. On my first visit, I had an oil change and because of the great service I came back two days later when my engine light would not turn off. A test was administered to see if the alternator or the battery was the culprit. It was discovered, however, that the alternator needed replacement along with an accompanying part and the serpentine belt. In the end, the manager did not charge me for the alternator because of a prior test that was inaccurate. I can't tell you how much I appreciate that gesture. It goes to show how honest and customer-oriented A&A Auto Repair is. As a result, I plan on bringing my car here in the future for any mechanical needs. read more
