I had 2 other moving companies cancel on me at the last minute (one never even called) so I gave A & A a try. Adam was very quick to respond to each and every email that I sent and after a little back and forth, he came up with a very fair price for a seemingly easy move of a washer and dryer and a refrigerator of about 40 miles. I was considering doing it myself with a friend or two and a U-Haul truck, but was very thankful that I went with A & A, as it would have been a nightmare without the professional hand truck, experience, etc. I was under a time constraint and had to have the move done right away and they were able to fit me in at the last minute shortly after Christmas. The day of the move Adam re-confirmed with an hour window time and the driver called from the road to let me know when they would arrive (which was actually a few minutes early). The movers (Stephen & Deontae) were friendly and professional through and through. They took their time and showed great care in moving the items and securing them in the truck after wrapping them up to avoid any potential damages. They then put them right were I wanted them in my home after moving my older units into the garage. Needless to say, I was very happy with the entire move and would highly recommend them. After having another moving company flake on Me on My move out day I was stressed beyond belief. I called around to many of moving companies looking for Movers that could come on short notice and be reasonably priced. As I called number after number feeling more hopeless with each call I came across A & A Proffesional Movers. I'll admit the fact that They quoted Me the cheapest price had a big impact on My decision as probably would most. However that did not do much to calm My anxiety about what I might be getting Myself into thinking with My wallet, But I refused to be duped just because You probably could smell My desperation oozing through the phone. I honestly didn't have too many options that worked within My budget I had set so I held My breath. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at the outcome. A & A was on time, courteous, and came prepared (because as diligent as I thought I was I still managed to forget some essential things). Adam was the best to coordinate with and schedule with. He responded to literally all of my emails within minutes, almost to the point that I have a sneaking suspicion that "Adam" is actually a supercomputer somewhere posing as a real person. The rate was very fair. The movers showed up two and a half hours late, but Adam informed me when I called of a new ETA, which was close enough, and that the reason for the lateness was that the last job had much more than what had been disclosed. And I believe that to have been the truth. The movers moved everything perfectly and very efficiently, including a desk and a bed that I was worried would be a headache to disassemble and reassemble. The movers stayed very late to get the job done because things got started late. Nothing was damaged at the end of the day. read more

This was our second move with A & A Professional Movers and we would definitely use them again. They are professional, courteous and the moving team are dedicated, courteous and efficient. They handled our possessions like they were their own, covering items that could get damaged and had a plan for loading to utilize most of the space. The team worked very well together and you could tell they all got along. They were very interactive with us, always asking questions if they weren't sure of something or pointing out things that we needed to know or address. You could tell they had done this many times before and that made us more comfortable with the move! They were fast, but conscientious and got the job done in a timely manner. If I could give more than 5 stars I would; these three guys were absolute work horses! My move was for a full 3 bedroom home with 2 stories into a three bedroom with three stories, and the doorways and hallways were a real challenge, but these guys never waivered or complained. They figured it out each and every time, and their strength constantly amazed me. They were friendly, fun, and obviously experts in their trade, and not a single item got broken, nor a single wall scratched. I highly recommend this company! BTW, I priced a few other companies before I decided on this one, and this one was by far the best price. Outstanding! I had to make my move on very short notice, and three different local movers could not fit my move into their schedule. It was with trepidation that I contracted with an out-of-town mover called A & A. They showed up when scheduled and I have never seen 3 men work harder! Our basement was filled with very heavy items and they managed to haul all of them up some treacherous stairs and into the truck. They had to disassemble and reassemble 2 pieces of furniture, which I did not anticipate. No complaints from the movers. They worked a very long exhausting day and I never saw them take a break. They remained pleasant throughout the day. They dealt with whatever came up, and took pride in doing a good job for us. read more

We had a complicated move and had contracted a different mover that took a $200 deposit before they started the job. They showed up and did not like what was involved and walked out, keeping our deposit. We were desperate to say the least. I ran across A & A Professional Movers and had a wonderful experience. They sent a team in to help box what needed to be boxed and loaded us up and moved with no difficulties. Adam, the owner, was a pleasure to work with as were the guys who came to do the boxing and loading. They were all very nice to work with and changed what was turning out to be a horrendous experience into one with a lot less stress than expected. Adam was a pleasure to deal with. I contacted him multiple times, for different reasons, with regard to our move...including changing the date and time of our move. He never failed to either answer the phone immediately or to call me back in a timely manner when I left a message. He went out if his way to rearrange the schedule to accommodate our originally booked move date because closing was pushed back. The three-man team of movers we had were just great! The price you truly cant beat!!! There were three guys who came to move us a family of five. They were efficient, nice, and hard working. We had almost our whole townhouse moved out in 7 hours. Staff was on time, very efficient, very attentive to my treasures, nothing was mishandled.
