Let's see where do I begin, this weekend I went out to dinner with some girl friends down here in Belmont Shore. Well let's just say turned out to be a very expensive dinner. As usual there's no place to park down here so I parked in the only available space I can find unfortunately that business after an hour and a half had me towed. I won't name the business because I understand their situation. Least to say I was not a happy camper. When I called the towing company to find out where my car was I gave them a piece of my mind. The whole way up to the tow yard I was furious. When I got there there was already somebody in front of me yelling at the guy at the window. First I was happy that someone else was upset and these guys are getting yelled at but then after I continued to listen to the conversation I realized that the poor guy at the window was being as professional as possible to this guy who just got towed. This person who got towed was just plain belligerent and mean and personally I think he was a little drunk. His excuses made no sense and all he was doing was wasting my time. I came to realize after listening to him for about 15 minutes that it really wasn't the towing companies fault they're just doing a service for the businesses that hire them . Once this guy was finished and took his car out it was my turn. And as I mentioned before the guy was polite and understanding who was helping me out. He didn't have that much information for why my car was towed but the little he did have he was able to explain it to me properly. Least to say when I was ready to yell at the guy I just couldn't. It's amazing the perception you may have of a place until you realize everybody has a job to do. I would hate to have a job like his where you get yelled at every time someone comes to pick up a car. And the best part is you're yelling at somebody for your own stupidity. It is so easy to blame everybody else for our own mistakes. I would have given this place 5 stars for the professionalism in their service if I didn't have to still pay to get my car out . Oh well as I said earlier on in my review all in all it turned out to be a very expensive dinner next time going to pay attention to all the stupid towing signs that are around. read more

Thank you A&A, I came home late one night from work to find someone in my parking space. Checked to see if I knew whose car it was but did not recognize it. Called A&A, they had someone out in 15 minutes, I was tired and upset, and actually got a little mad at the driver because he asked me whether I was authorized to have the car towed and wanted to see some proof. The driver was very understanding and explained that he needed to make sure I wasn't some jealous ex-girlfriend or something of the sort wanting to tow someone. He was just covering his but to make sure everything was by the book. Once we got that all cleared up he picked up the car and was gone in a flash. The next day the prick that parked in my spot had the guts to actually come and yell at me, I gave him a piece of my mind and he left with his tail between his legs. He got my name from the manager of the building who doesn't have the balls to tell anybody anything. In my complex people visit their friends and park where ever they want, finally I did something about it. Next time someone parks in my spot I know what to do. No mercy. And by the way for all the people who are complaining about their cars being towed illegally, first learn to respect someone elses property whether it is a business or a apartment and if you don't own it don't park there. It is a shame to see people who are so pompous that they think they can park where ever they want and then whine about it when they get towed and then blame everybody else but themselves. read more

About a week ago, I found myself stranded off the 405 in Long Beach while it was raining. I called my insurance company for roadside assistance and proceeded to wait TWO HOURS before calling back and finding out that a tow truck had been sent but had broke down on it's way and no one from the company thought to tell me. I went to call A&A since they were right up the street from me to check their rates but decided that I should just wait for my insurance to send a truck since I'm supposed to get free roadside assistance. Well, after waiting another hour, my insurance company ends up sending A&A anyways when they should have just sent them from the very beginning since they were less than 3 minutes away from where I was stranded. When I was picked up, Echo and Tango took me in and treated me very well. It was nice to step inside the truck where he had kept it very warm and I had been in the rain for over two hours prior to that. They were very warm and friendly and took care of me. If I were to ever find myself in a situation again where I am stranded, I'm just going to go to A&A and not my insurance. Insurance companies are always going to try to find the cheapest tow truck that they can pay for and not care about anything else, which happened in my case. I should have just asked A&A from the beginning especially if my insurance company was going to end up calling them after letting me wait for two damn hours. My car was towed by these guys, let me tell you it was one expensive dinner. But I have to say it was my fault, I had no place else to park so I parked in a back ally in another businesses spot. The sign was clear but I thought I wouldn't get caught I was only going to be gone for a couple hours to dinner. For the fact that my car got towed I have to say the experience was pleasant, the tow company was really cool, they let me inspect my car, they showed me how they towed it, they showed me all the documentation of the business that called to have the car towed. They operate a service like I do, nobody is happy when there car gets towed but you wouldn't like somebody parking in your driveway at home either. They get called out for idiots like us. Word of advise, park where you are suppose to and if you get towed hope it is a good comapny like these guys. read more

Wow what a day it was yesterday! As everyone who owns a car fear is unexpected car trouble can happen especially when it is most inconvenient it seems. I stopped at the grocery store to get something to eat for breakfast and to my surprise my car wouldn't start. Really though, it is only 3 years old, Ugh!! I called AAA for assistance needing a tow truck. I was told I was going to be assisted by A and A Towing and 15 minutes after my call Adam arrived he was the nicest and most caring person. As soon as he got down his truck he said "Good morning" he then asked me if I was ok I suddenly felt at ease I knew it was going to be ok and he was there to help until he knew I was taken care of. We were on holiday visiting the area and booked a rental car for the two week stay, great idea... Until the car cuts out! Thankfully we had a safe place to stop, we did a few google searches and thought A&A looked pretty good, and we weren't disappointed! Although it did put a damper on the day, these guys arrived an were very patient and helpful (even with clueless me!), they kept everyone calm, took us to a service station for repair, and then helped us with directions to where we originally wanted to be! Sure, it would have been nice if we didn't have a breakdown, but we couldn't fault A&A Towing for their service, and by the end of the night we all forgot we ever had any troubles! read more

I know there are some bad reviews on here but I used them becuase no one else wanted to help at 2 in the morning. Came out of a club and my car wouldn't start. Called A&A and they had someone out in less than 15 minutes. You would think at 2 am you get some weird guy, but I was wrong, he was extremely courteous and had me and my friend on the road in less than five minutes. They only charged me $45 which was well worth it. I asked the driver why they had so many bad reviews and he explained that there primary business is to impound cars and people are never happy about having there cars impounded. And some of the other reviews were by competitors who had nothing better to do. read more

A & A towing was very helpful. I was visiting family in Long Beach making my rounds for the holidays when my rental car broke down. I know, it's a rental and I had the insureance... but I called them and they said they could be to me in 2 hours!!!??? 2 hours was way longer than I had to wait at that moment so I asked them if I could call another company and bring them the receipt? They said yes.... I Googled quickly and found A & A. They told me 30 minutes on the phone and they were there in 15. I was blown away and couldn't have been happier. I would give zero stars if I could. A big tall coward by the name of Sonny just finished man handling a woman. He banged her car against the car and shoved her to the ground. Called the police who could do nothing because they said it was the company property so they could retaliate and say we were trespassing. Horrible service with employees who feel it's ok to pick on women more than 2 times smaller. There was obviously no threat to the worker. They are scammers and break the law. Assembly Bill 2210 (Goldberg, Chapter 609, Statutes of 2006) protects consumers against the worst of illegal towing. Under AB 2210, if you spot a tow truck driver taking your car, and the tow truck is still on private property, the driver must release your car to you unconditionally. A tow truck operator who violates this law is subject to a civil misdemeanor, a fine of $2,500, and/or three months in jail. Also, consumers who can prove they have been charged illegal or excessive towing or storage fees are entitled to recover four times the amount of those fees in small claims court. read more

The worst staff ever, this driver try running over my daughter on Sunday the 11,2025 on Mother's Day! They come to your private property and tow your vehicle without management permission! They insult you and are desperate for money ,, this guy on the photo isn't even on uniform and is rude and so disrespectful, he called my daughter dumb and started recording her as well, they charged $436 dollars and made us wait a long time talking about is a hour to prepare paperwork. These guys know what it means to give great service. They are very knowledgeable and the tow driver is so helpful. I was stranded at the corner of 26th Way and San Francisco Ave due to what I later found out was just a dead battery that wouldn't allow me to start. I called them up after searching on Yelp and Mike was there in like 20 minutes. He as nice and helped me out by giving me a jump and letting me know it was the battery. Awesome company I would definitely recommend them if you are in a bind. read more

Stole my legally parked car out of a restaurant, I have list of names of witnesses, and their phone numbers, photos of the lot and employees who all saw me there. Per others' recommendation, I guess I have to pay their outrageous made up fees, and then file a claim in small claims court. I intend to do that, and moreover, I recommend complaining to CHP (refer to their number CA261976) and also google "predatory towing" and report it to authorities in your area like District Attorney or City attorney. read more

This company is a total racket! These people work with local law enforcement to harass innocent targeted individuals in Long Beach. They do not know the laws regarding towing. They unlawfully towed my vehicle and went through my whole car while it was in their posession. Then they unlawfully charged me over $300.00 for stealing my car when I attempted to get it back. Great Deal on a Tire Change! We needed a tire change because my friend's car had a spare tire but no jack and no wheel wrench. We called two other companies and they said they didn't have anyone available. I found A&A Towing and they came out within 15 minutes and swapped my flat tire for me. They also gave us great advice on where to get a little jack and a new 4 way lug wrench so that we wouldn't have that problem again. I am now prepared if I get a flat tire. Thanks so much. read more

My friend drove over the median on the street which blew out and destroyed her front left and back tires. Called A&A Towing and they immediately picked up and got someone to come down with a towing truck within 20 minutes and solved our situation quickly.. at 3 AM! All the other private companies that claimed they were "24/7" didn't pick up. He charged my friend a very low rate which was amazing. Call this towing company! I was out in Hell A for business when my cruddy rental car broke down. Ignorant rental car company couldn't get anyone out to me for 4 HOURS!! I called A&A and was rescued in time to catch my flight out of hell and it was absolutely worth it! Thanks guys...and I will be disputing my rental car charge on my credit card.
