I was in and out in about five minutes--signed the paperwork, was given a clear due date, and they actually finished ahead of schedule, which I truly appreciated. They kept me informed, called me promptly, and even arranged a rental car for me. Everything was handled in one place, which made the entire experience stress-free. The quality of work on my truck was outstanding. I am extremely picky, and I couldn't find a single blemish--everything was done right. On top of that, the truck was fully detailed inside and out, which really impressed me. worse service ever, don't come here, the owners only care about your money. They do not care about your car or you as a customer. I would not recommend it to anyone. The old receptionist is rude, has a very bad attitude and with no reason. I brought my truck here for repair, they did the worse repair ever, I came back for the same thing and nothing changed. Alvaro and Bill so unprofessional and not willing to work with client. But, they charge a very high price to the insurance. Alvaro was always causing in Spanish which I hate it. Very disappointed, last month car rental was good, this month even with a reservation I was told they didn't have any cars and wouldn't honor the reservation, just told me to call Hertz and get my money back. I had a great repair experience While driving on busy highway 29, an ice chest fell off the truck in front of me and significantly damaged the front end of my new car. Having had a previous good experience at A&B Collision, I didn't hesitate to go back to Alvaro and his crew. I'm glad I did. They were timely, proactive communicators, provided a clean loaner car, made sure I had all new OEM replacement parts and once I had a claim number from my insurance company, they made the remainder of the process hassle-free and the repair job was perfect! I booked a Hertz rental car through A&B collision for this holiday season. No cars were available and I was told I shouldn't have been allowed to make a reservation online. No one had checked for my rental confirmation or called me to let me know there were no cars available. My appointment was 2hrs after they opened for the day. When I asked about their fine print of providing an up/downgrade or a voucher for a rental at another time, I was told to call the corporate office. I understand that things happen, but the "customer service" was unprofessional at best. Christmas is ruined for my 70yr old mother in law who was waiting for us to come to see her. Unless you like to be disappointed Id suggest going to the enterprise rental. read more

my daughter and I were driving over the mountain when a truck passed us on a curve and a pipe flew out of his truck. fortunately.it didn't injure us but the pipe bounced back and scrapped the whole side of my car. So I had reserved a Car A Week and A Half from the date of pick up for this location and I walked in and went to pick up my vehicle and they said we have none. i then asked well what is the point of the reservation if I come here from Ohio across country to see family and there is no vehicle available? I came here for a repair on my front bumper. They did get my front bumper back on, which is where they earned their one star, however, my bumper fell off while I was driving less than a week later. When I told them about it, and I brought them the bumper they got extremely verbally aggressive and wanted to charge me to put the bumper back again and put it there properly. read more

I took my car here and I was never given an estimate before they did any of the work. Alvaro, Bill, and the lady that works the front desk never communicated anything that needed to be done with my car. I knew my car felt unsafe to drive when I brought it in there and voiced my concerns to Alvaro. A & B collision had my car for 3 weeks before Alvaro called me and said the car isn't safe to drive so they couldn't work on it that it was making a loud noise when they drove it , I said why do you think I brought it to you, for you to fix it!? He then said they needed approval from state farm to order the 4 wheels. State Farm gave them the ok. I called them 2 weeks later to check up on my car and the lady up front said I could come get my car and a check for me to get the wheels myself. I asked to speak to Bill, and when I asked what was the noise my car was making, which was one of my main concerns with my car since it had been vandalized, he was oblivious to what I was talking about. And said to give them a few days. I found out later from State farm they submitted an additional estimate claim for the brake caliper to be replaced. Which means they were going to have me come get my car without performing a thorough inspection on it to ensure it was safe for me to drive now. I bought the wheels before I picked up the check. Since I couldn't drive my car away from their shop without them. They have refused to give me the money after asking multiple times. Since they had my car there for over 30 days only due to their incompetencies they started a lien on my car and it was repossessed and now they claim since I don't have the vehicle anymore I am not owed the money anymore. They are scam artists that prey on people who depend on them to help them. They purposely took longer to fix my car so they could file for a lien sale on it and said the car isn't going anywhere until they are paid $450. Disgusting excuse for a business and people!! read more

I tried to avoid this, but I feel at this point it's necessary to inform others. On July 3rd I hit a deer after watching fireworks in Clearlake. I had my car towed to their shop that evening and received a call from their shop letting me know they'd have it done by that Friday, or midway through the following week at the latest. I thought that was really fast, but they seemed pretty confident. 2 weeks go by, no communication from the shop. I contacted them and they said the following week. Waited 2 more weeks, no communication. I contacted them again and they said still waiting on parts. This went on for 3 months until they finally got all the parts and got the car "fixed". They blame it taking over 3 months on Covid, which is somewhat understandable. During this time, my rental car coverage lapsed and I had to pay for a rental car for 2 weeks. I called to see if they could at least split the cost with me, and the guy said he had offered me a free loaner car during the first conversation(which was a lie). If he had, why would I have gone through the trouble to get a ride from my ex wife to ukiah to get a rental, and then have to deal with returning the rental lol. $450 in rental car fees later and they offered me a loaner. Anyway, at first glance the car was fine but after driving it for a day and having time to closer inspect the car, things were not right. The Horn didn't work, they forgot to put emblems back on the car, the smart key function didn't work and there was an issue with one of the windows. I called to notify them of these issues and they told me it wasn't their fault and to take it to Thurston Honda to get it fixed. I told them I didn't pay thurston to fix it, I paid A&B Collision so it's A&B Collisions responsibility to return my car near the condition it was prior to hitting the deer. The guy said "let me make some calls and I'll get back to you." Never did. After another couple weeks of no contact from them, I contacted them to see if they were ever going to try and fix my car. I was told to bring it in, and I did so as soon as I could. They called a few days, maybe a week or so later and told me all of the issues were fixed and to come pick it up. This was in November. I went in and the first thing the guy tells me is that he personally tested everything himself. Awesome. So I get in the car and try the horn only to find it still doesn't work lol. More lies. He tells me he will make some calls and see what happened cuz thurston was supposed to fix it(more passing the blame on someone else). Initially I started to leave in my car but decided I better not, because I might not hear from them again so I went back and had them give me the loaner back. Another week or so goes by and they tell me to come back again.. i immediately notice the emblems they had previously forgot were now installed but looked wrong.. but I wasn't 100% sure so I didn't mention anything. Another if the same car pulled up next to me at a light and I confirmed they were in fact wrong. A&B lined them up with he body lines which angle up, but they're supposed to be level.. parallel with the ground. This was a minor issue that I intended to let slide because I was over dealing with this body shop. They had my car for about 5 months at this point. Last Wednesday I was on my way to Long Beach to get on a cruise.. first time really taking the car out of town since they returned it. About 15 miles down I-5 and the clips that secure the plastic undercarriage broke off and it began dragging on the highway. So I'll be taking it to another shop to get fixed and send A&B the bill. I recommend everyone steer clear of this shop, it has been nothing but 6 months of headache. read more

Did not bother to inform me that car I reserved 3 weeks earlier would not be there, "never are" I was told, after I was told they might have one in after 2pm, not even an apology. Told they can't inform me. Told they can't just push a button that says no cars. I was told I would get deposit returned at midnight when car was not rented (or there to rent) I am still trying to get refunded almost two months later.... useless, lying, uncaring individuals. Took 2 weeks longer than they quoted,had to take back twice to take care of their poor work

I went here for repairs because they offer "free loaners" seemed simple and easy to eliminate a step, but the rental was charged to my insurance (fine). What put me off initially, was that they took $ upfront when I dropped off the car, rather than after work performed. Then, what I was told would be a couple days, took 2.5 weeks. When I picked up the car, they had not completed all repairs, and actually damaged the tint on window. So, back to their shop and tacky mobile billboard for another couple days to wait and have another glitch with squeaky window motor. Now for an inconvenient 3rd trip. read more
