Hit a deer and had hood and grill damage. Went to Classic Auto Body and was assured if they did job that it would be back to " pre-accident condition". Grill was used junkyard crap with pits and bubbling all over chrome and repainted hood and fenders had "orange peel and fisheyes" all over hood and fenders. This is how my car was presented to me the "first" time. This place does not inspect it's work what so ever. Had to go back three times to have half-assed work corrected. When I picked up my car for the "final" time there was swirl marks all over hood and fenders where they attempted to polish, polish all over the front of my car and paint overspray on my fenders and windshield. Once again THEY DO NOT INSPECT THEIR WORK!!!!! Maybe this place was once a good business but I would not recommend to anyone!! read more

So I took my dirty. almost three year old, Prius in for some paint and trim repairs. I had scraped up the front and side severely. (Thought I knew how to drive, but since turning 70, all those skills seem to have flown out the window) I chose Clasic Auto Body because they were able to fully restore my car as new, all without needing any costly replacement parts. I wouldn't even give them one star! I was rear ended by one of Geiko's clients when I was at a stop sign, I went to them only because that is what Geicko reccommended I did. When I went to pick up my car after repairs were so called finished I am pulling out of their parking lot and noticed I now have a crack down my windshield that was not their before? I go right back in very upset and they said they didn't do, I said well who did you had my car and it was not there when I dropped it off. So they made us pay $50.00 towards new windshield and billed Geicko for the rest saying it must have been done from the accident. Four months later the dent reappears in the same exact spot that itwas repaired. We went down to Classic Auto Body and spoke with one of the technicians he looked at it and agreed they needed to fix it, so we left are car there it was a Friday and we get a call on Monday to pick up our car they are saying that this was new damage in the same exact spot. So I am furious I call Paul from Geiko the person who did the first inspection on the car and he agrees to come out to our house and look at the dent. He says this is not right and Classic Auto Body will have to make this right! He told my husband and I to call Classic Autobody and schedule an appt. to drop the car off so they can fix the repairs. My husband told Paul my wife will needs a rental car because she has to able to get to work and back. He said that will be no problem Classic Autobody will have it set up for you. We drop the car of on a Tuesday my husband gets the rental, then on Friday they call and say they will not fixing the dent because it is new damage and to come pick up your car. THEY ARE FRAUDS! I am so upset I can't even believe what has happened to us my car was brand new before I was rear ended. I recently had a deer try to use my rear car door as a drive-thru window and it caused immense damage to my Corolla. As a nursing student on limited income I was very concerned about the damage being so much that my insurance would total it. The guys at Classic Auto Body in Lakeport, Ca. took VERY, VERY good care of me and my car!!! They worked with my insurance and made sure the cost was not so great that my car would be totaled. They then went "above and beyond" with "additional measures" to make sure my car was put back together properly and in time for my rental (conveniently located next door to them) to be returned on time. Their customer service was OUTSTANDING and their work was simply impeccable!!! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know and they will always be my choice in the future should I have need their expertise again! read more

They got the parts in for my repair in a timely fashion. The color match is spot on! The only reason I'm giving them 3 stars instead if 5 is because they apparently lack common sense.... if a customer brings in a car to repair that had been in an accident, you would think certain elements would be double checked to make sure the car us running up to standards..... when I brought my car to them, I told them my alignment was wayy crooked as a result if the accident. They didn't fix it.. they actually took my money for the repairs and let me leave the premises with the car still driving hella crooked. And then pawned my car off to some other shop to get the alignment fixed... Also, I've discovered today, they didn't bother checking the headlight on the side they repaired... because there is visible glass just chillin in the light cover. Seems to me like they did just enough to get that insurance check.... never going here again. I'll be taking my business else where. read more
