Had sewer issues that the first service could not fix without putting in a cleaning trap at an astronomical price. I called A&B and they sent Brendan. In a little over an hour he fixed the issue. Brendan was great...kind..helpful and gave me tips on maintaining the line. That says to me they care about their customers. The office staff (I cannot remember her name) , was very kind and reassuring. She also gave me a senior citizen discount. This service saved me thousands of dollars and I will always use them in the future. I was happy I got to talk to the owner to express my gratitude. He was a very nice guy. The person who came out and snaked our lines was very good and efficient. However, we were charged a greater price than was quoted on the phone. We told the person on the phone that we had two lines that needed to be opened. She quoted a price for the first hour and a price for subsequent hours as well as a $65 travel charge to come to Eureka. No mention of a charge for doing more than one line. When we received the bill, there was the charge for the hour of work, a charge for an additional line, and a $100 travel charge. Called the office, and the person said "she just didn't think of the extra line charge when giving the quote." Really???? Also, how did the travel charge go up by $35 in two days. We couldn't be happier with the service we received- we recently bought a home that sat empty for about 3 years before purchasing- we had sewer backing up in the basement drain and called Rotorooter before calling A & B - we were told we had roots that had grown through clay tile pipe and was quoted over 6k from rotorooter - decided we wanted a second opinion and were recommended to call A&B - we had someone from A & B come out and I'm so glad we did! They found roots were our issues but where the issue was - was NOT where roto rooter intended to dig - we saved ourselves time and ALOT of money getting the second opinion- when A&B came out they had to dig an 8" hole in our front yard to replace a section of clay tile pipe that roots had grown into - they also installed a clean out- they were honest - professional- and respectful. They wore booties in the house and they cleaned up any mess that might have been left (unlike our experience with rotorooter) they made sure everything was in working order before leaving and IMO went above and beyond- I am SO glad we went with them and won't use anyone but them for future work that may need done. Very happy with this company. Called them about a drain problem, they were here within an hour. Tyler got straight to work. Did the snake down the house drain, then came in snaked the kitchen drain. He had to go 75 feet, but got to the problem. It was grease residue buildup. I do not put grease down the drain, but there is still residue on dishes. He cleaned up his mess and was very informative about why he was doing what he did. Price wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Very reasonable. So thankful for A & B Hunter for a job well done! read more

very happy with the service. basement toilet wouldn't flush and I could smell sewer gas outside, so I called them. Outside line was clogged and it's 200 feet to the road. 2 technicians came out and used a propelled water jet with piping hot water that cleaned the entire length removing the clog. were here for about hour and a half. Very unhappy with this company. They have been in business many years so felt they would be reputable. They first came out 11/11/17 to clean out my mom's septic tank. Said we didn't have the lid dug up enough to do the work. (Website states they will dig for extra charge.) My mom is rural so charged her large fees to bring trucks out and charged time but no work done. We dug up lid and rescheduled for 12/27/17. They called the morning of the appointment to say it was too cold and would do the work the next day meanwhile people were waiting to give them access and wasting their time! No phone call ahead the day before is unacceptable. Will never use them again and find someone who treats their customers better and doesn't overcharge without doing any work!!! read more
