Had draining issue with my aerobic system. They came out and pumped the tank. My system is not…read moreeasy to get to and they quoted a a price to come back and investigate and fix what thought may have been a collapsed pipe. I had other company's a few years ago state the wouldn't work on my system as they couldn't get equipment into my back yard. Sam looked and didn't see any reason he couldn't get a mini-excavator back there. We reach an agreement, and set up an appointment. They arrived on the day we agreed on, even though it had been a bit rainy the day before. Found that the issue was a clogged distribution box, and tree roots in two of the runs. The fixed it, back filled it and were done in a few hours. They even adjusted the price down a bit since they didn't have to repair a collapse. They were knowledgeable and friendly. I was impressed and very happy by their service, approach and concern for my house and property. Flash forward about a week or two. I get a hand written thank you card from them. I am old, and I remember what really good customer service and relationship building looks like. You don't see it in many company's anymore. All of the people at Coal Creek Septic understand customer service and relationship building. Use them, you will be impressed and your problems will be taken care of.

Had 14 days to get a septic inspection done per the real estate contract on a house I am buying. I…read morescheduled an appointment with coal creek over a week in advance after speaking with several other companies and deciding i liked their song and dance the best and they are only a few miles away from the property, even though they were over twice as expensive. They called me at the time of the appointment to notify me they were canceling due to "conflict of interest" because they had done work for the current owner before. I had the seller of the property contact them to say it was ok to do the inspection, and they still refused to follow through on their obligation. After speaking with a former realtor and several other septic companies, none of them have ever heard of a septic company backing out last minute due to a conflict of interest. Conclusion I have come to, is that they were trying to intentionally block my window to getting an inspection done within my contractual window. If I can't get the septic tested beforehand due to this, and an issue arises after purchasing the house, I will be filing a lawsuit for damages, and my company lawyers will back me and win. I will never use this company, no matter what! I will never recommend this company to anyone! I will actively spread word of this incident to the thousands of employees and union members associated with my company, as well as, everyone else i can that could be current or potential customers. Coal Creek, you have made an enemy!

Checking with others, this repair should have cost around $2000. The company claimed they replaced a vent pipe but just added a one foot extension. We were billed for pumping water that took all weekend that we did. ourselves We even had Roto Rooter there and located the exact location of the repair and showed them where to dig. We tried, along with the realtor, to come to a resolution but they gave us the runaround. When we asked for an itemized bill, they said it wasn't happening, as this would expose the scam. If you want a company that charges double what it should, bills for services not even done, can't provide an itemized bill, and lies about what they did, this is your company. Throw in some arrogant employees and crappy customer service and this is your place. Beware and stay away. I would never recommend this company.

The original septic work was satisfactory except for the huge mess they left. I took pictures,…read morebecause it was so bad. However, later on we ended up with a sinkhole. I've contacted them several times to come and look at it and give advice. I haven't seen them even though they claim they were here. Even if they were here, they have not fixed the problem. The original work was done in the spring. It is now Dec. 30.
