Got me right in for a leaky radiator, replaced it and had it ready by closing at 6PM. Fast…read moreservice, reasonable price according to RepairPal and have put 2 weeks and 1500 miles on the repair , no problems. Tony, the mgr I presumed, told me any problems in 12k miles or 12 months, bring it back. The only reason I gave this incident 4 stars was the greasy handprints on the freshly waxed fenders when I picked it up, a minor issue to be sure, but a hit anyway. These guys also do my inspection every year, usually no wait.

Very shoddy service. I used to take the car to the Santa Fe location and was satisfied and thought…read morethe Texas City location would be the same. Nope. They took their time, I know they are busy but they had it forever. They fixed it but destroyed something else causing a short which melted my wiring harness, so I took it back and again they acted like they didnt want to work on it. I am assuming it is an older car and they dont think it isnt worth fixing or maybe I dont have the money to afford the repairs, which I do. It is our only car and we were walking and riding bikes to get to work, depending on friends and relatives to get to places that are not within walking distance. I took it back after the meltdown with the wiring harness in my steering column. They were evasive and said they couldnt find the problem. I got frustrated due to my previous experience with them, so I paid them for replacing my battery cables, which I agreed for them to do, then took it to Mr. Mechanic, who are way more professional. They told me, because they are busy as well, that it would be a day and a half to get to it, which is reasonable. They found the problem and replaced the issue which caused the previous mentioned meltdown. They called and quoted me a price and and it would be done in less than a day. Awesome. They have my business now. I will never take any vehicle to this location again! They say they are busy but any time i go there, they are eating and not really working on any car, maybe one or two but the rest of them usually are jacking around doing nothing. They take their time and dont care about the customer. They say they are busy, i understand that if you sit around all day and do nothing, I can see that you can get behind. They are unprofessional and rude. Now to be fair, the Santa Fe location is a different story. I like them and they are professional. But if you dont want your car fixed with parts from a junkyard (They put a computer from a different model and make car than mine, it is compatable, but wow, why not order one for my car??? It can be reprogrammed for my car but still wow.) They only do very little to fix something the cheapest way possible charging 100 dollars for labor like fixing a four dollar thermostat for 190 dollars, or if you want to keep bringing it back to them, assuring them more business, by all means take it to them, they are making money off of you by making you think its fixed knowing full well you will be back. Classic bad mechanic tactics. Im wondering if any of them are certified. No thanks Cortez in Texas City, I am very happy with the other place I took my car to. Ill never use your services again even if im desperate.
