I drove to this place yesterday and got the brakes of my car fixed. Artemis was very courteous and dropped me off at my office that is close to their shop. After a few hours they called me and said that the car was ready. I was expecting a hefty bill but to my surprise it was very reasonable. I met Tim and he was very courteous and explained the work done on my car. This place doesn't look like a car mechanic shop from outside but they are good people, very reasonable and professional. Tim and his dad have a great automotive repair shop!!! I was extremely pleased with their understanding and ability to communicate the specifics of what was required to repair my truck. I must admit that I have been one of those people of "convenience." I always opted to take my truck into a "Kwik Kar or Jiffy Lube" auto service station. However, after my auto mechanic education from Tim I learned that the recent service rendered to me at one of those previously mentioned places was not adequate nor up-to-par. NOT A POSITIVE experience. LIES LIES and holds your vehicle hostage! As my friends and clients know, I always check out any new dealership or service facility BEFORE I recommend them to you. So I saw this small local business and thought that if they were honest place, would be nice to help them. Here's my personal experience with the owner "Tim" so far : NOT the best. In fact, I think that if he were honest with you himself, he'd have to admit that as a customer, he's treated me pretty poorly so far. 1. I took a vehicle to him that I already had 2 other mechanics look at and estimate, so I already knew what was wrong with it and how much the repairs should cost. Tim gave me the highest quote of the 3, and even when "discounting " it for me, was more than $100 over the next estimate, and when he quoted the cost for everything the other 2 places offered to do, he was actually more than $500 OVER them! :/ TIM literally just called me and offered to do what he should have done already (as a part of the tune up service ), for another $136! I refused his generous offer, so he said "Well we'll just close it up like this then." Implying that unless I choose to bend over for more fun out of pocket, then he essentially will give me back a vehicle that's in the same effective mechanical position as when it arrived, but he's got my $$$ , and I get to remember the old adage. .."No good deed goes unpunished" :( As a successful businessman, a man of God, and a person who really trust and believe that God sees and judges everything we do and that's done to us, of course I'm going to pay him the agreed upon price to get my vehicle from him, and I'll let God deal with from there. But I could not and would not be silent about my experience there, because I don't want any of you suffering the same fate by making the same mistake I did. The saddest part is that if the opposite had happened, and it were a good place to come to, he and his business could have benefited greatly from my recommendations and clients for years. MORE GREAT SERVICE!! .....If you live in Southwest Houston and need a great honest mechanic go to Westbury Automotive. My second car repair in a month was just as good. They repaired only what I needed and explained why the problem exist and also showed me the parts after the repair was done. Owe! I forgot to mention the reasonable price. I checked other shops and they were the most reasonable. I have a 2001 Nissan Maxima and needed a right lower control arm and the power stearing hose was leaking. Mind you, other shops said I needed a pump which is more expensive. They did the repairs for much less. It is a family owned business in the community and they are great!!..... no fast talking trying to sell you what you don't need. I definately recommend you to take you car. read more

I broke down on the Fort Bend Co. Toll Road, which you don't ever want to do bacause it is a "Restricted Road", which means even if you have Road Side Assistance Service, they cannot come and save you! You have to wait for the Toll Rd. Authority and a Constable to bring your car off to the next exit. Sooooo, my 2nd tow was to Westbury Auto where Tim and his guys took great care of my rough morning with a repair to my bad alternator. I picked up the car later that day and Tim even stayed late to wait out my Houston 5'oclock traffic cab ride. Fair price also for job performed. read more
