I loved the local fish ahi poke (other fish poke may not be local fish), I choose the wasabi masago, and it was the best poke I've eaten! The kimchee cucumber was also delicious! To top it off my favorite local popcorn, Samurai furikaki with Arare was in stock!

Minus 0.1 because of the mayo sauce that didnt really hit plus the knife work but everything else exceeded my expectations and changed my mind about tuna INDEFINITELY - located inside a liquor store which i thought was pretty quirky and the parking lot is quite empty too; it's giving ratchet vibes but hidden gem - quick service - i like that they mostly serve fresh tuna only and not that many previously frozen ones because foodland has many previously frozen selections IG: @nom.noms.only

While it's a great go-to for Filipino staples--from snacks to pantry essentials--what really makes it stand out is its wide selection of unique treats from all over Asia. From Japanese Kit Kats, unique Lays chips flavors Korean candies, and more, it's a snack lover's paradise. What's really drawing the crowd lately are the viral fruit shaped ice creams -- the ones that blew up on the mainland and have finally made their way to Maui. They do sell out quickly, but they've been getting more shipments in regularly and have added more flavors to the selection to keep things interesting. The staff is friendly, and the store is clean and well-organized. The only reason it's not a full five stars for me is the pricing on some items--understandably higher due to import costs, but still a bit of sticker shock when you've had the same snacks in China, Japan, and the Philippines for a fraction of the cost. While it's tough to justify the splurge every time, once in a while, it's totally worth it. Sometimes I just miss certain treats I've had during past travels, and now I know Mabuhay Mart is an option when I'm feeling nostalgic for those snacks and willing to pay a premium. All in all, it's a worth a visit--especially if you're craving a taste of Asia right here on Maui.

The cashier was really friendly, and once you order, they actually come find you to hand you your order, which was a really nice touch. The açaí itself was really good. The portion is big and comes in a cute jar. The açaí was thick and smooth, not overly sweet, and the fruit was fresh. It felt super refreshing after a long morning, and the whole place just has a great, chill vibe. Definitely a nice stop if you are in the area and want something light but filling. Super cute ambiance and friendly faces behind the counter won me over completely! They have nice lemonades: loved both the ones we tried. I especially loved the avocado toast with the chili flakes. It reminded me of home (Los Angeles) and I was super happy. Açaí bowl was fantastic. Chicken flatbread was yummy too! Plenty of parking in the strip mall. Service is super friendly and food and lemonade is fresh. I love supporting local places when I'm traveling and I will definitely be back when I'm in Maui next time!

You can eat inside, but it is completely wide open. Very cool and very breezy! They have those big ass fans which cool the place right down. They also have an outdoor area which is covered. I feel like it might be larger than when we came on a previous visit. (I may be wrong about that. ) They've definitely grown out the grounds a bit and now there's a nice lawn area where kids can run around or people can play lawn games. The menu has also gotten more diverse. I had a specialty pizza which was divine! My husband had the bao ahi tacos which were also quite good. The beer menu has also become more diverse with a wider variety . You've got to try the beer and if you aren't sure, they can make you flights so you can try more than one. Highly recommend this option. Service is what has really made this place special. On both occasions we had the most amazing servers. As a Maui visitor, we can definitely tell when we are truly welcome and Maui brewing makes that so. They hire the best!

Located in Kihei, this beautiful and spacious brewery has plenty of parking, indoor and outdoor seating, and room for hanging out playing games while enjoying your beverages. This Saturday afternoon there was a singer/guitar player who added a musical, laid-back vibe. Prices are typical for the area and for these tasty beers and delectable flavors, this reviewer feels it's well worth it!
