I found a nail in my tire when I was changing the rotors on my car so I made an appointment to patch my tire. I arrived on time for my appointment but was told there were no available bays and I would have to wait at minimum an hour before any of the bays would open up. Since I had an appointment, I asked if there was any way my car could be taken back sooner, or if a mechanic could just jack up my car (since it was just one tire), to which the man replied "What's the rush? Our appointment times don't actually mean anything. It's all first-come, first-serve." Don't make an appointment here expecting to actually have an appointment. read more

This A & E Tire location was recommended to me by my mechanics who I've been going to for 16 years, Comprehensive Car Care (see my reviews for them). I'm so glad they steered me towards A & E. They were able to get me in very quickly for a four-wheel alignment on my '15 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, and from walk-in to finish, these guys were nothing but friendly, professional, and on-the-money from a technical standpoint. What I really appreciated about my experience is that they completely understand that an alignment on a truck with a lift kit is different than one without. I hate to say it, but in my experience over the years with three different lifted trucks, most tire places have no idea how it's done (especially the national chains). Not the case with A & E. My Tacoma now tracks perfectly, rides like a champ, and A & E exceeded my expectations. I'm always a little wary of trying a new business when it concerns my trucks--even when it comes highly recommended by someone I trust--but A & E totally won me over. They were closing in 15 minutes and snuck me in to get a nail out of my tire other shops would have told me to F off that close to closing time. The mechanic was great real nice explained to me how to check my tires and make sure what to look for when I need to get my tires changed he also checked all the other tires to make sure they were at the correct weight, I was out of there in 10 minutes and was only charged 17$ what a great experience I will be taking my company vehicles since they are right up the street from me. read more

This place is an over priced rip off garage. I had my car worked on there and afterwards noticed there was a large dent near my rear glass of my Ford Explorer . I NEVER open my glass. I only open the "hatch" but there was a very mysterious dent along the frame by the glass with white touch up paint. The work was shoddy at best. They quoted me 650.00 dollars to replace my radiator on second occasion, when I told them I was going to look around the attitude changed completely. Instead trying to work with me they got all pissy when I came to get my vehicle. By the way got the same work done and replaced my radiator for 450.00.. Do not go to this place the only reason the have work is because they are near a lot of business's. read more

The young man who came out to fix our blown tire was very knowledgeable. He was able to pinpoint the reason our tire blew and help us to get back on the road. Even in the rain and mud he was able to easily replace the tire. read more

I have a large truck that needs new tires and I was promised by two different sales reps at A & E that they can do the job. It has been nearly 5 months and still nothing, they wont return my calls (a half dozen voicemails) you would think they could at least call me back. It has been absolutely terrible. This place is far superior to the big box chain stores. They are fair, knowledgeable and rank high in customer service. The waiting room is clean and comfortable but truly can't speak highly enough about the exceptional service. I need good tires for traveling back and forth from the mountains but am on a budget. They didn't try to oversell me but listened and took excellent care to get me the right tires. I followed Matt and his team here from another store/location because they are the best. read more

1200 W Dartmouth Ave, Englewood, CO 80110 location Unfortunately, my family's experience with this shop was not very good. A good friend who uses them a lot recommended them, and he has been pretty reliable with other referrals. I went to get an estimate on several issues with my Mazda. I worked with Wayne and he was very helpful initially. When I picked up the car, I was told that it wasn't really worth fixing and I should trade it in. The problems were not mechanical (air compressor, struts and a problem with the gas tank). I was kind of surprised, but he didn't charge me for the estimate. Since then I was able to find a shop who were able to fix it for a reasonable cost. I then referred my daughter to them with a Subaru that had a check engine light on. She took it in and left it. They gave her an estimate and she agreed to the work. When she went to pick it up, they charged $150 above what they had quoted. They said they repaired some oil leaks and that was causing the check engine light to go on. They refused to honor the initial quote. A week later the check engine light went back on. She brought it back in and they looked at it again and said it seemed ok and couldn't find the reason for the check engine light. She asked if it was OK to drive it up to Aspen and they said yes. On her way back the car started having trouble and she took it directly back to A & E. They told her that she had blown the head gaskets due to oil leaks and that it would be a $3200 repair. They refused to credit her the $600 she had already paid them. She talked with Matt mainly but also the owner. Since that seemed outrageous and perhaps dishonest, she took it to 2 other shops getting a quote of $1800 from one and $1300 from another which was a Subaru dealer which would normally be high. The entire situation really smells of someone taking advantage of a young woman who doesn't know cars and was not respected by the person she works with at A & E. This has put her in a bad situation financially due to their handling of the repairs. What a shame that people still behave this way. SO, WATCH OUT! I feel badly I recommended them. Better to find a more honest shop. read more

I needed to have a tire replaced. The phone interaction was professional and reasonable, price was reasonable as well. Here is where they went wrong: Their website says they open at 7am, nobody showed up until 7:30am. As I was waiting for them to open, when the person who I believe is the manager finally showed up he parked his truck next to my car but too close to open his door. Instead of moving his truck, he glared at me until I moved. It was an awkward two minutes of him glaring at me, glancing at my car, followed by glaring at me again. Big open parking lot, but he apparently had to intimidate his first customer to start his day. I had an appointment and I was told it would take "30-45 minutes". It took nearly two hours to replace ONE tire. I won't be going back. read more

These guys just saved my day!!!! I live down the street and was setting up an event at the convention center. For some reason my theater lighting stands had rusted together and I was unable to get the adapter off. This made it basically useless for the event. I came in and the gentleman at the front desk dropped everything he was doing, to help me free the rusty adapter (which was a B*&$% to say the least). It was above and beyond what I expected, and I appreciated the generosity. He didn't even charge me. I will be buying my next set of tires here no doubt!!! read more

I went to A & E Tire for new tires and when I got my car back one of my wheels was scratched pretty bad from I'm assuming what was the tire machine. I went back and spoke to Matt about it and he said he would get it figured out for me. They called me a couple days later and Wayne told me they have a new wheel for my car and I can come in at my convenience to get it put on. When the color of the wheel didn't exactly match, instead of just putting it on and sending me on my way, they sent it back to get repainted! They went above and beyond to make sure my "car was the way it was when I first brought it in here." A & E Tire has EXCEPTIONAL, friendly customer service and I couldn't have asked for more when it came to the condition of my car. I will definitely be bringing my business back to A & E! These guys are AMAZING! I went to their website after finding out at 6 am that I had a flat tire. I requested a quote to have them come to my place and swap out my rims with my stock tires. Gary emailed me back at 7 am and said he would have someone out in an hour. I didn't see my phone until a few hours later and after reaching out to him again he sent someone to me right away. I managed to show up on the wrong day (completely my fault), but the lovely gentlemen at A&E tire were kind, understanding, and fit me in even though they were busy. 5/23 Took the truck to Colorado Chassis. Trucks alignment was off. (after 2 attempts, a ton of time, and excuse after excuse from A&E) Colorado Chassis had the truck fixed in no time! Truck drives great, no more issues. Final Conclusion= A&E Tire does not know how to do proper alignments. 5/22 A&E is refunding money. Talked to Wes the owner. We will take truck to Colorado Chassis and see where we go from there. Agreed to tell Wes what the problem was when done at Colorado chassis Will post more info as it is available. ORIGINAL POST: STAY AWAY! Took my truck down for a front end "check out" and repair whatever it needed. They FAILED. Did an "alignment" and sent me on my way with 2 trashed front tires and shocks. didnt even recommend a wheel balance, offer any remedy. . Went to TDS, they showed me they were "oval" and replaced both front tires and recommended a Shock change. (this was Friday 5/18) Turns out both shocks were trashed. Why didnt A&E notice? Saturday 5/19 took the truck Back to them, they said they couldnt do anything until monday, and it was probally the tires... REALLY!? New tires... hmm. Took truck BACK in Monday 05/20, they put it back on the alignment rack, truck still pulls. The Truck is actually WORSE then before I took it to them, pulls to the right all day long, with two brand new front steer tires and new shocks. Multiple Mechanics says its an alignment! NOT MECHANICAL. Will be attempting to get my EXPENSIVE alignment charge refunded. PS. Alignment tech is extremely RUDE! read more
