NEVER USE THESE CROOKS! TWICE THEY HAVE BROKEN MY CAR AND MADE ME PAY FOR IT! Took my 2014 Pathfinder (only 4 years old) in for an oil change. When I arrived home, I was not able to get out of my car because the inside driver door handle was broken (which was perfectly functional before the oil change). Took it back and they figured out that the door handle was broken. Not sure how they broke it, but they tried to convince me that door handles breaking is part of the normal wear and tear on a vehicle and it was just coincidence that it broke while they had it. Instead of taking any responsibility, or at least giving me a break on the price, they want to charge me $35 for the new part and $120 to install it. Can't believe they would lose a customer over a $35 dollar part (that I found online for $15). Matt was unwilling to even give me a coupon to fix what they had broken. If this was the only occasion, I might be able to overlook it. A couple months ago, we let them replace the alternator in our 2010 Odyssey. When we got it back, the belt was slipping, so it made a chirping noise (that they didn't notice before they gave it back to us). Turns out that they broke the pulley tensioner when they replaced the belt. Again, they made me pay full price to fix what they had broken. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I guess this time it is shame on me for not realizing that they do more harm than good (not to mention their untimeliness in getting my cars back to me). read more

I love this place and am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. Everyone that works here is honest and only tell you what needs to be fixed and what doesn't. They don't try and upsell you or try and pull anything shady. When I call they know my husband and I by name and are always willing to work with us and our schedules. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I brought my car to C.C.C.C. to have a problem diagnosed. For some unknown reason the good alternator was not recharging the battery. I called for an update after they had the car for 5 days. Matt checked with 2 of his mechanics and told me they were unable to diagnose the problem but guessed what it may be. I told him that I would pick it up the next day before they close. I asked Matt if it was possible for them to charge the battery so I could drive it home because it's probably close to being "dead" since they had been driving in to their shop to work on. Matt said they could jump start it for me when I come to pick it up. I said that wouldn't work if the battery is not recharging. That would START the car, but not keep it running. I told him that I, myself, had to completely charge the battery to be able to drive it to your shop. Matt told me they could put a trickle charger on it for me. I walked a mile and a half to pick it up. The guy behind the counter who was checking the car out to me was going to charge me the diagnostic fee that Matt had told me they wouldn't charge me because they couldn't diagnose the problem, so Matt hadn't taken the charges off the computer. The other guy behind the counter caught on to what going on and said, "..... no, just give him the key, we're not charging him because we couldn't fix the problem." I got my key and went to leave, but the battery WAS now dead. I went back in to ask about it and told them Matt said he was going to have it charged. The 2 mechanics by the shop entry door and the guy behind the counter couldn't understand why Matt would've told me that because they don't even have a trickle charger there. They have NO WAY to charge a battery. I find it strange that an auto shop doesn't have equipment to do something as simple as charge a car battery. So, now I have to PAY for a tow truck to pick it up and take it home and waste MY time to do it! And, I now had to walk a mile and a half to get back home, so I'd now walked 3 miles, which was painful because I'm disabled. ): JW read more

Colorado Car Care Center is everything an automotive repair shop should be and something that the big chain stores should strive to match, but never do. The owner, Kyle Douglass and the guy who typically works up at the front desk, Eli both do an amazing job and provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism that you just typically don't find in the automotive industry. These guys never try to sell you work that doesn't need to be done on your vehicle, the prices are very reasonable and the work is done quickly and efficiently. This is a shop I trust...which I've never said about any other mechanics in the past. I drive all the way from Downtown Denver and will continue to do so, passing dozens of other shops on the way because I am always taken care of at Colorado Car Care Center. read more

First I should point out that I had been going to CCC for over 10 years for my automotive service on 5 different vehicles. Back in the day when Nick was the service manager it was great. Lately we haven't been quite as confident so my wife went to the Acura dealership for a list of services they said needed to be done to fix her car and as a double check she went to CCC to get their opinion. They said it was nonsense and said it needed a new starter which we agreed with and had the work done. When we got the car back it was running poorly and we brought it back to find out it needed 2 new O2 sensors at a cost of over $900 with the explanation that they couldn't find the sensors for less than $300 (you can buy OEM ones for under $100) and they were giving me a discount! I realize they make money on the parts but that's excessive. Since I thought that sounded weird I took the car away and put my code reader on it. It did show a fault one ONE O2 sensor so I opened the hood to find it was unplugged near the starter that they had just replaced. I also noticed there was a bracket that was supposed to be attached using the bolt for the starter which was dangling free. I plugged the sensor back in and ... no fault codes. I went back in to confront Matt on the misleading diagnosis and asked him for an explanation and he blamed the technician. He said he would correct the problem with the bracket so I dropped off the car. When I picked it up he told me there would be no charge for the work to reinstall the bracket. The following morning I get an angry call from my wife saying there was a football sized dent in the passenger side! I called Matt to ask if there is video surveillance in the lot and he said it's broken but he personally pulled the car in and out of the garage and he didn't hit anything. Basically he said sorry about the dent but he wasn't responsible. I try to support local small business but this is one I am going to leave behind. read more

Had really hoped this would be our new place but based on a few experiences I have to give it a very negative review. Here are the facts: Took our SUV in first thing in the morning for a diagnostic on the check engine light, my husband called around noon and it wasn't ready. I called around 2 and they told me they had already talked to my husband and it was ready. We drove over and it wasn't ready after all; they said it would be ready by 6. At 5 they called to say they needed to keep it overnight because they hadn't gotten to it yet. We needed the car so we went to pick it up. When we got there they said they ran it through a "partial" diagnostic and that they found the problem but needed to do a more thorough check to be sure. i.e. They didn't know enough to know the fix BUT they still wanted payment for running the diagnostic. We pushed back and they agreed not to charge us. We took the SUV to the dealership mechanic across town rather than take it back to Colorado Car Care. Then we took my husband's car here for an oil change to give them another try. Oil change took all day but otherwise it was fine, until the next day when we noticed oil leaking. Took the car back to them and they said that there were likely multiple seals failing and that they would need the car for a day to diagnose and likely a couple hundred or so in fixes. My husband pointed out that there were no issues prior to the oil change. They were unconcerned by the timing and unwilling to consider it was related so we took his car elsewhere. We found out that the oil filter was improperly installed and that was causing the leak. We also discovered none of the other fluids were topped off. 30 minutes with another mechanic to fix the filter and no more oil leaking. Maybe there are plausible reasons both of the above would happen but the people we dealt with in both instances were far from apologetic or even communicative. We won't be returning. read more

Really good prices. Nice enough people but their communication is terrible. I took one of my cars in for tires and they never called me the whole day. After 6or 7 hours I called them and they said it was done just waiting to get an alignment check. So I said I'd just come do that another day. Then a couple weeks later I bring my other car in and once again it's there for 6 hours with no word from them. We call and they had to order in the tires and they still weren't there. So they say they will call us and 3 more hours past and still nothing. So I just go there and they are still waiting but they are closing soon so I ask when they expect or if they will be able to today. They said they would be able to do it today so 15 minutes to their closing and still no word so we just head there because I'm not going to leave my car sitting outside over night there if they weren't able to do it. Luckily it was fine when we got there. Then i ask when I can make an appointment to get the alignment checked and he says to just bring it in in the morning. So I do. I dropped my car off at 9am. We haven't heard anything at 2:30 so we call and check in and they have a car up on the rack that's waiting for parts and so they can't do any alignments till that happens. So we give it more time. And 2 hours later I came in. They still haven't got the parts. I took my keys and won't be back. Here's the problems. First absolutely NO communication with me. Had I been given the choice I would have just come back another day instead of spending a day without a car when I'm trying to get things done. Second poor management of their resources. I may not understand how it works in a shop but to be it's just a wasted resource if a car sits on a rack all day and instead of getting maybe 5 alignments fine while waiting in parts you in fact frustrate the customers and lose some. read more

I would just like to write how awesome of an experience Colorado Car Care Center has been for not just myself, but for my partner as well. We moved out to Colorado in January and my jeep broke down shortly after the drive cross country. I had got my Jeep towed to a Jeep Dealership nearby and was lied to, and they tried ripping me off and wanted me to pay over $2,000 to have my Jeep repaired, their diagnosis was that everything was wrong. I would like to ad I am not a car person and could easily be ripped off. My boyfriend hear from a friend to go to Colorado Car Care and we figured give it a shot. After getting my Jeep was Towed to Colorado Car Care, we first spoke with Matt who extremely welcoming and friendly! They fixed my Jeep, they were honest about everything, it was $30 to repair total. They explained I needed a new transmission filter. Again, as a person who does not know anything about cars, and could have been ripped off coming here was a great choice. I have not had any other mechanical issues with my Jeep. My apartment complex was doing construction and I rode over nails 2x and brought my Jeep to Colorado Car Care both times. I live off Colorado Blvd, I could easily go to several shops nearby, BUT I won't go anywhere except here from now on. It's a 20 - 30 minute distance for me but 100% worth the travel. My boyfriend had electrical issues with his Mazda and they were so helpful and honest. I I would recommend anyone to go to Colorado Car Care Center. The owner Kyle is a great person. We feel extremely lucky to have found this car shop. read more

Just moved to the area and started to have car problems. I was referred to a few shops and called them all. This one was very friendly on the phone and seemed very genuine. I choose this shop based on the phone call and I'm very happy I did. I spoke with Matt on the phone and when I got there and with the owner Kyle when I picked the Jeep up. Overall, the service was excellent. They worked on the car in a timely fashion at a very reasonable rate. It is hard to find a good trustworthy shop, but I would definitely return to these guys. They were so nice and explained everything to me in detail, kept me updated throughout the day while they had my car and I had amazing service. They ordered my tire promptly the day prior, and the day of had no problem adding an oil change and a new air filter and all of this was done in less than 2 hours. They are amazingly efficient.
