My husband recently passed away, and I truly did not know what to do or where to begin. From the moment I arrived, they were considerate, patient, and understanding. I felt genuinely supported, as if they had taken me under their wing during a very difficult time. They addressed my concerns promptly, clearly explained everything, and fixed the issue. I will be trusting Pride Auto with my car from this point forward and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I'm sharing this experience because…read morethe fear tactics, story changes, and manipulative behavior used by the shop manager Josh to cover what was likely an honest mistake at the time. What started as a simple oil change on my 2023 VW Atlas at 55,800 miles turned into a $500 bill and one of the most unprofessional customer experiences I've ever had. During my inspection, Pride flagged both my front and rear differentials as contaminated, showing me photos of fluid samples in paper cups. They told me the fluid was too dark, warned me it could cut my car's value in half if I wasn't under warranty, and said it was a VW-only service they couldn't perform. They told me to get to a dealership asap and to not delay. This was a Friday at 5:30 PM. I was at VW when they opened Monday at 8:00 AM. VW informed me the fluid in question is gear oil. It is naturally dark. That is its normal color. Pride created urgency and alarm over fluid that was behaving exactly as it should. The rear differential service I had done was based solely on the concern Pride raised, which VW confirmed was unfounded following the inspection Pride themselves recommended. As for the front differential, Pride accessed it during the inspection and compromised the plug in the process. VW informed me that once that plug is removed, a fluid service is mandatory with no option to decline. I was forced into a service on a component with no documented issue, solely because Pride accessed a system they admitted they couldn't service and didn't have the parts or fluid for. When I called to understand what happened, shop manager Josh was condescending and dismissive, telling me he was "glad VW serviced what was obviously a needed service." It wasn't due for another 4,200 miles. He then left a voicemail insisting they did nothing wrong, that the dealership was screwing me over, and asked me to remove my review before I had even posted one, as I was still trying to understand what happened. He claimed they only accessed the rear via a check plug and never touched the front. He then texted me claiming the front differential is sealed and that VW was selling me an unnecessary service, while embedding Pride's own inspection report in that same text showing a photo of front differential fluid in a paper cup labeled as contaminated. I replied asking "How'd we get this for the front?" He never responded. There is no innocent explanation for how Pride obtained a fluid sample from a system they claim they never accessed. Either they accessed it without the knowledge or equipment to do so safely, or they fabricated the finding entirely. What pushed this from frustrating to unacceptable: I never told Josh which dealership I went to. He called every VW dealership in the Denver metro area until he found the one I was at, then called and berated their service staff. VW confirmed this to me directly when I picked up my car. Josh claimed VW was ripping me off. If that's true, why was my entire $500 bill limited to servicing what Pride should not have accessed? On top of everything else, Pride flagged my battery as failing and recommended a nearly $400 replacement. VW tested it and confirmed it is in perfect condition. Not a single additional repair was recommended or sold to me at the dealership. I have the inspection report, voicemail, text exchange, and VW invoice to document.

Even better, I got a flat tire near there on a busy Saturday, and pulled into their parking lot to call for help. I was alone with two kids, one of whom was a screaming baby, and it was a crappy situation. The SECOND I pulled into the parking lot, an employee ran over to my car and said "why don't you take the kids inside and I'll put your spare tire on for you." They're not a tire place, and they didn't know I was already a customer, but they still rushed to help me with an emergency, and that saved the day for me. Took them about 5 minutes, and they did it free of charge (I wouldn't have even thought to ask them--they just volunteered to do it). Thank you so much to Tom/Tommy and the younger man who helped him this past Sunday. Dave was also very kind. I promised I'd bring them back donuts, but by the time I got back they were closed, so I'll bring them next Sunday! You guys are like superheroes.

I walked in and the first thing that was said to me "Here for an oil change go ahead pull up to bay 1." After making me walk back out and re park my car into a bay, they immediately had my car sitting for 10 minutes with 3 open bays. My car then was moved to a whole other bay that they had moved the car to which wasn't the one they told me to go to. My car was then brought in and watched as the "certified" mechanics couldn't figure out how to open my hood for 3 minutes. After waiting for another 30 minutes, my car was finally done after being immediately turned on and gaving the engine being revved and held for 12 seconds after immediate turn on and then immediately turns it off. RIP MY ENGINE. After they messed up everything the head of the store tried to up sale me on, "Filling the car all the way with oil", which i thought was supposed to happen. Then was told by the same person who told the person infront me who drove a KIA that not only there car but my car, had to be acquired with a "special filter, that involved paper." Yeah wow I feel like i'm losing brain cells. Will never be taking my car here ever. Everybody is inexperienced and nobody has good customer moral support. They are greedy thieves. Please take some advice and never bring your personal car here for your pockets sake and your mental health sake, and for your cars sake.

It looks good."), and I was out in 15 minutes! They even topped off my tires for free, which had gotten low during a cold blast. Stayed in my car the whole time, which is wildly helpful with a 1 year old in tow. They had a coupon online I could use too. The *only* thing I had to ask about was the resetting my van's oil alert, which they happily did. 10/10, an amazing experience. Will absolutely be going back and recommending to my friends!

They'll ask what you need. Get some information on you and your vehicle if you haven't been in before. You wait in the car. Pay. Roll out. The national commercials show the bottled water and window cleaning. That wasn't my experience but it was quick and easy for sure. Price is about what you would expect for a quick in and out. Maybe a tad high but all the prices and services are clearly marked online. They do have coupons so maybe peep and save yourself $10-25. Doesn't hurt. I don't think this would be a regular occurrence for me but if you've somehow forgotten to get your oil changed or only have 20-45 minutes between appointments this is definitely a strong contender.

A couple of concerning points: - Progress status. While I loved receiving a text message with details from the technician and then an email with estimated costs, once I approved the work (love that BTW), I had to call multiple times to find out when my car would be ready for pickup. Why this was an issue for me is CBA is not open on the weekends, so not knowing if u would have a car less than 1 hour before closing on Friday (6PM) was concerning. - The parking lot is TIGHT and it was hard to turn around to find an available spot due to how the lot is configured. Would I return? - 100% yes. Now I know how CBA works, I can better set my personal expectations that I will not have a car for the entire day after drop off (I dropped off at 9AM). Not a huge concern - just understanding the playbook. I do recommend CBA for car repairs. Were they pricey? I say yes, but no more than other places I've been to in Castle Rock. Plus, I love that they provided upfront costs in their message and that I was easily able to approve or deny.
