I've brought my car here twice now. Once for significant electrical work due to rabbits and ice for routine service. I've been very happy with Jeno's so far. The service and prices have been great. If you schedule ahead of time, they can offer a loaner vehicle. They are very busy, so it usually takes a week to get an appointment. That's really the only downside to Jeno's that I've seen. I assume they can squeeze in vehicles on short notice on a case basis, but if you can plan ahead, this is definitely a reliable and honest place to bring your wheels. read more

A few months ago, I dropped my Jeep at Jenos because my seat belts no longer retracted properly. It was an expensive fix (I got two quotes), around $900. I spoke on the phone to a technician at Jenos and he said, let me check one thing for you... stepped away, came back and told me he discovered my Jeep had an extended warranty out for this exact seatbelt issues. He pointed me to where I could get it fixed by Jeep for free. This kind do service and honesty is something you rarely see in the auto world. I would have never know nor checked. My wife and I have been happy with bringing our vehicles to Jeno's Auto for over ten years. I took my 2014 mercedes in for an oil change on Friday November 3rd. When I picked my vehicle up I spoke with the owner who basically fired me from ever coming back for any service. He told me that they are not an oil change shop but a mechanic shop. He asked me if I had gone somewhere else to have my spark plugs changed and I acknowledged that I had because the other mechanic charged $100.00 less than Jeno's. First time I've ever been fired by a mechanic, that I had just paid $125.00 for an oil change. He basically refused to allow me to ever bring my vehicle back to Jeno's I assume because I was being frugal. I am hesitant to give reviews and rarely do as it seems that as soon as I do, something happens on the back end that makes me wish I had not done so. I took my Jeep to Jeno's about a year ago for an issue that my regular "go-to" 4 Wheel Parts didn't want to touch. Jeno's knocked it off in minutes. I took it to them again after my vehicle didn't pass the emissions test. Once again, knocked it off in minutes. So, recently I had several codes pop up on my Trail Dash 2 - took it to them expecting a bill way north of $2k. I had to leave my Jeep with them for ~2 days but they gave me a loaner which alone saved me a ~$200 or more. Picked it up today and was given a detailed explanation of the problem was, the bill was 1/4 of what I was expecting. I have to say - Kris - the rep there is probably THE MOST professional person I have ever dealt with. Whoever they have as their mechanics do a great job - they really know their stuff. It feels like an old fashioned, trust worthy place (and CLEAN). I have already recommended Jeno's to others. Cudo's to the owner - I really appreciate good, old fashioned, HONEST service. While this shop was very friendly, and fairly priced they were not very helpful in providing a quick turn around for my wife that was traveling thru. Also, while the app did replace some of the correct parts, they did not replace ALL of the parts that were leading to the issue and further along her trip we had to have both the parts that were just replaced as well as the additional parts that should have also been replaced at the same time. Since we're from out of the area there is not any way for us to take the vehicle back to have this issue resolved. read more

My second positive experience with Jeno's. My Ford Escape would not go into gear while I was in the pick up line at my grandchildren's school. I have never used a tow truck before and didn't have the name of anyone who was reliable so I called Jeno's to get a recommendation for someone that would tow my car to their location. Kris recommended Michael at Descriptions, LLC. Fortunately, Michael was only about fifteen minutes away and he was able to come and move my car right away. My only other interaction with a tow truck driver was less than pleasant but Michael was extremely helpful and polite. He tried a couple of different tricks he thought might work before he towed my car to Jeno's. John checked out the car early the next day and called and explained the problem to me. I'm not a car person but he told me what was going on in a way I understood. He said they had to order a part and it would arrive the next day. They were not sure they would be able to finish that day (Friday) because it was a time intense project. I was very pleased when they called about 5:00 in the evening to tell me the car was ready. We were able to pick it up and use it over the weekend. Jeno's has the best, most responsive and courteous customer service I have every had in vehicle service. I was so disappointed. I called here to find out information about possible charges on replacing brakes for my Honda Odyssey. The person I spoke to didn't seem thrilled to be helping me and told me he would call me back. Never received a call. My husband called Jeno as well and had the same situation where the person said they would call him back and yet they never did. I can not recommend Jeno's. I am a single woman and once I began asking questions about the service I received, John and Steve both became very rude to me. I asked for them to help me understand why I spent $700 with them for a master brake cylinder since there was no noticeable difference in how my car operates. It's a small shop and may take a bit longer to complete your repairs, but they will do the job expertly, with great attention to detail. We have been Jeno's customers for years. Yesterday my 2011 Ford needed a 60,000 mile service and there was a miscommunication about the work to be done and the price to be charged. DON'T TRUST THEM..! They may be AAA but they are rip off's. My husband had them put a brand new radiator in his truck..that was $1200..they told him that he needed a new water pump and it would cost another $360...we said no because we didn't have any more money to put in the truck (it's a 1988 Ford 250 that my husband loves and I hate). So he decided yesterday to take the truck in and get the water pump..we're moving this week end and need to use the truck. Well he gets a call from them this afternoon saying that they busted all the bolts trying to put in the new water pump and it will cost us $1000 for them to fix it!!!!! Now the truck is sitting there at Jeno's with a brand new radiator and they have broken it so bad we can't even drive it home. SO DON'T GO THERE. We take our 'car' to Keller Brothers and never have had a problem. read more

The guys at Jeno's did a wonderful job on my car. It's now running like it did the day I bought it! A chain repair shop had told me I needed extensive repairs and multiple items replaced. After Jeno's inspected my car, they assured me that most of the items that had been previously recommended were not necessary. They did a major tune up and axle replacement. I had a vehicle I was thinking of buying checked out and they said it needed brakes, lights and an oil change. After I bought it, not even 24 hours later, the check engine light came on. Added it to the appointment that I had for the brakes. Since that appointment, I've had to bring it back twice for the check engine light, the last time, they said they couldn't find anything and advised me to try a couple of tanks of gas to clear out the lower quality I put in. Brakes were squeaking after the first appointment. I've had the check engine light come on three times since that last appointment and called, plus asked if there was anything I could do to help the brakes. No response to those last three calls, even though I was asking for them to call back and touch base. Now I have to take it somewhere else to see what's going on with it. read more

I was given three options to repair...brand new, used, or repair existing broken mirror, which was the least expensive. The serpentine belt on our Infiniti broke and our neighbors highly recommended Jeno's. We had the car towed there and the necessary repair was completed (approx $1500). We picked the car up before closing time when finished and on the way home there was a rubber burning smell and steering issue. The next morning our driveway was stained from a leak under the car. As Jeno's was closed that day we took the car to 2 other repair shops, who both explained the power steering failed due to the improper serpentine repair, as the tech did not completly remove the debris. The car was returned to Jenos, who claimed no responsability and charged us $500 additional dollars to complete the power steering repair. Nice guys with a good reputation, but beware. read more

My family have been going to Jeno's for over 20 years. They are the only shop I will send my cars to. They are honest and will let you know if you need, or don't need, work done. There have been many times where I expected work would have to be done and they explained that little, or no, work was needed. When work is required, they always provide you with an accurate estimate and time frame for repairs. They have been especially helpful on conducting a quick check on a used car, to get an honest review before purchase. The last three times I have taken my Jeep to them, it was an emergency and was without an appointment. (I do recommend you make one if you can, they are always pretty busy!) They got my car back to me pretty fast, and even provided me with a safe rental car while they worked on mine. I found Jeno's Auto Service very good to deal with, and concerned with my satisfaction and safety. They will mount and balance tires from the Tire Rack, which will save a consumer a lot of money if you go and pick the tires up yourself in North Stapleton from Tire Rack's warehouse--free shipping! Their price for mounting and balancing the tires is reasonable. John, the writer and the other staff are pleasant and chatty, and when they commit to a price and a deadline, they keep to it. In my case, when my initial mechanic was taken ill halfway through the job, owner Steve Horvath did my work himself, with some no-charge extras thrown in without my asking. The work appears to have been done very well. They lent me a serviceable car to get me home in pouring rain, they offer a discount of 10% on labor (up to $50) for AAA members, and Jeno's offers, for no extra charge, a 24 month/24,000 warranty that most other shops don't match. They have a good reputation in the local community, a lovely newly-enlarged facility, and a very good attitude toward a customer's satisfaction. STAY AWAY! I have recently moved into the Littleton area. I loved my previous mechanic and asked him how he decides to change out the transmission and brake fluid. He said he looks at the colors of the fluid (and that might not have been exactly what he said) . Jeno's said my brake fluid needed done which would have cost me $393 and spark plugs and brake fluid also needed to be done at $613. This was actually my second mechanic in Littleton area to try out (stay away from Eagle too) and I didn't like the answer either one gave me for why it needed to be done. Thus, I decided it was worth it to drive the 30 minutes to Lakewood to go to the mechanic my parents trust; Sun Valley Automotive. When I started telling the super nice guy at Sun Valley that I was told I needed new brake fluid he smiled and said that there is no need to do that (and he gave me a reason). Then when I mentioned the transmission fluid he said he will have someone look at it. I got a phone call a few hours later saying we could wait another 10,000 miles to replace the transmission fluid. When my car overheated early last week, AAA ended up towing it to Jenos. On the third day of being there (on a very busy week for them) Darren called to let me know that my upper radiator hose blew. He said the 1st step to fix was to replace the hose, top off the coolant and test it. That would cost $233. The 2nd step he said is that they usually recommend replacing the themostat and doing a coolant flush - cost of that to be determined. Thirdly, he said , there could be other costs that possibly come up - needing a new gasket...and he finished off by saying hopefully I didn't ruin my engine. Ugh. With every word I felt the dollars being sucked away from me as I was being set up for a super expensive job. But my gut (and a mechanically-inclined friend) kept saying "research, this shouldn't be that big or expensive of a fix." So I did. Then I called another shop, recommended by said friend, a shop he vetted not too long ago and felt confident about. The price this shop quoted me, simply for "Step 1" - $102. LESS THAN HALF THE PRICE OF JENO'S. Same quality of work. Decent, straight shooting owner/mechanic. So I got AAA to tow my vehicle to this new place. Not only was the price right, but it also took less than an hour to fix me up, test my vehicle, (all was good, thermostat, etc), and I was on my way. Same day service! I really wanted to like Jenos, because I trust my AAA. It's taken good care of me many times before. And I checked the night they towed me there - Jeno's has good reviews. But in the end, I think Jeno's caters to a clientele with a more dispensible income. I am very happy I followed my gut on this one! read more

My Subaru died and had to be towed New Years Eve. On January 2nd I was called early to discuss the problem and was quoted a price before they proceeded. I also found out that my back break pads were needing replaced which I had already suspected. I was pleased to have my car back on Friday the 3rd. The people were very competent and nice to deal with. I also found out there is a Subaru experienced mechanic there which made me feel better. Jeno's has been my neighbor for 18 years and I have noticed there are always plenty of cars parked there for repair. Their reviews are always good so it's why I had my car towed to them. I have an old 1989 Buick and I gave up on fixing a really strange issue with it (I usually do my own work). I dropped my car off and they took excellent care of it. They exceeded my expectations, gave me a complete run down on what the issue was and what they needed to fix. On top of that, the cost of all the repairs were more than reasonable and my car is running better than it ever has. I will definitely return for all my car repair needs. I had a quick problem and everyone at Jeno's was very helpful -- it was fixed fast and cheap. John was able to take a look at it the same day I called in (other places around here said it would take 2 days just to look!) and then it was fixed in about a half day. They were out of loaner cars, so they even gave me a ride to and from my house while they worked on it. Update: I love this place even more than when I wrote the first review. They recommended I get something done at the dealership because it would be cheaper there. I've come in since and gotten a loaner car to use, and they gave me a discount on a service because they had a coupon in circulation for it (even though I didn't bring the coupon in), and I have called them multiple times just to ask for prices for services to make sure I wasn't being ripped off by a mobile service or a dealer (in one case I was, and in one case I wasn't). read more
