However, I can no longer reach anyone there. They no longer have a receptionist to handle calls. No-one answers their calls. They seem to always be closed, and there is no way to leave a message. Our pharmacist has sent them multiple requests for prescription re-fills via email and and even FAX- to no avail. No answer of any kind. I will probably do as my pharmacy has recommended - find a new dermatologist.

Before moving forward, I specifically asked whether the procedure would leave a scar and was told it would not. At my follow up appointment at the beginning January I was informed by Dr. Regina O'Brien that all stitches had been removed and was advised to start using scar treatment. Later in January , I realized that what I thought was a scab was actually a stitch that had been left in my chest. I had to schedule another visit to have it removed. The area had to be numbed again, which meant going through additional discomfort and inconvenience that could have been avoided. I asked that my insurance not be billed for the corrective visit since the retained stitch was due to their oversight and negligence. I also requested a discount on the bill I received, but that requests was denied by Dr. Regina O'Brien without consideration of the circumstances. Since the removal of the remaining stitch, the scar has developed into a tender keloid. It is very noticeable and cosmetically upsetting. I underwent this procedure expecting improvement, but the result has been disappointing And heartbreakin. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision

Dr. Moore pulled out her prescription pad and wrote me a antibiotic for my chapped lip, why would i need a antibiotic for a chapped lip ( yet again dr moore doesnt explain y just hands me the prescription) than continues to write me 2 other prescriptions for my "acne" on my chin. I dont have acne i only break out once a month or so when either the few little hairs grow back or it time for my friend to come. I went home threw out the prescriptions and switched my soap to a 100% natural glycerin soap and my skin has been great! than i got a bill in the mail for 15 extra $ that the insurance didnt cover. I sent a check a few months after getting the first bill than receive 2 more bills after sending the check, so i call they said they never received the check so i said double check ur papers and call me back if you still cant find it ill pay by Credit card. they called me back so than i called them back to make the payment, i left a message with the billing department and proceeded to call 2 times after the message still no answer and no returned phone call until 2 and a half hrs later when the billing department called i missed the call and the message she left was " that they got my message and i could call the receptionist in the morning to make the payment the office is now closed" i called back literally 2 min after missing the call only to get a answering service! Within the last five months I decided to give this another try. I went again and had difficulty with insurance covering my bill(that's definitely not their fault, though) It wasn't that expensive. However, after I discontinue going for the second time, I still receive monthly bills. Thankfully, it is placed on a card that I do not own anymore, however, I'm still surprised after not being there for three or four months now I'm still getting bills for an appointment that I never even went to or booked. I was OK with doing that, but within this process, it still didn't improve and at this point I feel like this dermatology clinic is NOT qualified to help people with more sensitive skin like me. Within my time here, I've talked to two different doctors and just have not gotten the results that I have wanted or honestly any results at all. Any result I have received has been from my own research and work. I definitely expected a lot more especially since this is something I have struggled with for over five years. I gave them two chances to help me out in both were around six months and I feel like six months is enough time to be seeing results. What sucks is when I started researching and talking to some of my friends who are in cosmetology and aestheticians I got completely different advice from the dermatologist and now my skin is so much better and less time compared to when I was working with a dermatologist. But unfortunately, I struggle with vasovagal syncope (fainting during medical procedures, especially those that involve needles). I met with Dr. Rao for an hour to discuss options. She answered every single one of my concerns and I got the sense that if I decided never to come back, she would be totally okay with that. I was pleasantly surprised that an aesthetic professional would be such a proponent of staying totally natural if that's what I wanted to do. I was also shocked to know that she gets some of these treatments done herself, because she looks so natural and normal. Dr. Rao's values about helping people achieve very natural looks aligned with my goals. The day of the treatment came and I was very anxious and afraid of the new experience. But Dr. Rao was extremely patient and kind. I was able to bring my partner with me for moral support, and the two of them were champions at coaching me back to life when I started to black out halfway through the injections. We were able to finish the process from there. My results are fantastic and my self-esteem is restored, since now I don't spend about a thousand thoughts a day obsessing over my forehead.
