Dr. Danny Del Campo has such a welcoming approach from my 1st visit He made me feel like a person not just a patient he showed genuine concern in regards to my suffering condition with prompt & professional solutions to tackle my discomfort. This man expresses true compassion and kindness. On a more recent visit For some lumps I had got under my eye I was referred to Dr.Gorchynsky (I hope I spelled correctly) to remove these awful lumps and Iris. I was so scared i thought it was going to be so painful and nerve wracking but to my surprise Iris and Dr Gorchynsky was such a great team together and the both kept me calm it was so calm i could have feel asleep at the end. I must say I think they must all be Angels, I've never felt such a calmness at any Dr.s I highly recommend them all as well as the staff is very friendly & professional. read more

Be prepared to wait! I had a 2:10 appointment, receptionist told me last appointments are 2:30 but I should get there by 2:10 to avoid a $75 late fee. I arrived at the office at 2:10 and waited for 15 minutes in the waiting room. I was then directed to another room and was told a nurse will be right with me. 45 minutes later a nurse arrived took down some notes, said Dr Danny will be right with me and left. 10 minutes later Dr Danny and the nurse came in. Dr Danny reviewed the Nurses notes, asked a few questions and left the room, basically a 5 minute evaluation. After an hour of waiting and a 5 minute evaluation I was billed $187. Not the kind of service I expected at all. Especially being told last appointments are 2:30. I had to miss a portion of my work day to sit around for an hour and wait. read more

I tried this clinic because of the Google reviews. The staff and Dr. Danny are very kind. Unfortunately, after going there for over 8 months and trying lots different creams that Dr. Danny prescribed, using all precautions possible, there was zero and I mean ZERO improvement with my pigmentation... it actually kept getting worse. I asked Dr. Danny about any other option besides creams because they obviously weren't working (12% hydroquinone included) but he said he wanted to continue trying different medicated creams then prescribed yet another cream which made my 4th prescribed cream from him with zero results. When I called them to tell them there was no change they asked me to back... again. I did not. Obviously making money was more important to them than helping me with the pigmentation on my face. I was tired of wasting my time and money while my pigmentation was getting worse so I went to another dermatology clinic. They checked my skin and right away recommended a chemical peel. Problem solved! I do not recommend CSC or will I ever go back. read more

My first appointment at Chicago Skin Clinic was great. The check in staff were great and I loved my initial appointment check in with Talisa. You could tell she was taking thorough notes about my experiences at the dermatologist and ensuring that she got everything down that was pertinent to my care. Danny was great. He talked me through my options and provided me with insight to the products I was currently using for my skin. Walked me through my new skincare regimen and how it works down to the cellular level (I loved that!). So far, I've been using my regimen and have already saw general improvements in my skin overall and it's only been a few weeks. I'm looking forward to working with this office! read more

I was referred to this clinic by a co-worker. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The clinic is clean but a bit update ( doesn't really have the feel of a skin care facility). Cartoonish painting of both doctors on the wall and poorly promoting of their brand. My first appointment was with Dr. Danny. Dr. Danny in my opinion doesn't really represent his profession well as his personal attire looks a bit unkept (scrubs, old pair of old gym shoes). I still decided to give it a shot, I explained the reason for my visit, Dr. Danny looked at the areas for my concern, he explained what they were gave some creams to apply and reschedule me for a surgery with another doctor. Second appointment- Had a complete different Doctor do the minor surgery, surgery was quick and easy staff again was great. Third appointment with Dr. Danny again. I was under the assumption I was going to be treated for 3 things, once in the surgery room Dr. Danny and his assistant only treated me for 1, It basically took 10 minutes After it was completed I was given a appointment to be called at a certain time and date for a follow through, I never received a called at the time that the appointment was done and no follow through until I myself called the clinic to find out what my results where. Overall the clinic has numerous policies for appointments basis you have to leave a CC on file just in case you miss appointment they will charge you a fee. When you make an appointment they text you a reminder, call you to remind you and finally the email you to remind you as well. This was my first time visiting a Dermatologist and yes I made the CHOICE to proceed with treatment by this Dr, but I honestly should have done a bit more research before continuing with there services. read more

I've been going to Chicago Skin Clinic for all my skincare needs. Both Dr. Del Campo & Dr. Danny are truly expert dermatologists who poses deep medical knowledge of the skin, complex disease states, and the science behind treatments. I see Iris for aesthetics: facials and botox and she is also incredible! She is extremely knowledgeable in all facets, allowing her to guide you into appropriate treatments that will give you the BEST results you're looking for! The office also speaks various languages to assist as many people as possible. What sets the entire office apart from others is how much everyone truly cares about YOU! It's a real family dynamic, and you feel you're being treated and cared for as if you are family. Betty at the front of the office is so helpful and also always so kind and patient! She makes sure you leave with a good understanding of what was discussed in your appointment. Hi, I was a patient recently of Dr. Danny Del Campo, and I received excellent care. I was greeted politely by front desk. I was taken to the room by a very pleasant assistant who needed to know my reason for the visit. Dr. Danny is an excellent doctor! I've been to a different dermatologist for years trying to figure out a recurring skin condition which Dr. Danny was able to help with successfully after one appointment. He's helped me out with several concerns over the years and always has his patient's best interests in mind when considering what prescriptions would be the most effective and cost efficient if price is a concern. I deducted one star due to the difficulty to set up an appointment at the clinic. They are open only a few days a week which makes it very hard to find time quickly if you have an issue with urgency (not emergency room issues but general urgent issues). I wish they were open more days a week to accommodate the demand. This office is very busy because the doctors are good. read more

after an initial consult I was scheduled for a minor surgery, with a different doctor. everything seemed fine, my insurance was taken and I paid the rest on my card. came back for the surgery and again insurance and card to cover the costs. immediately after returning home from surgery the sutures split, had to go back. the next day the sutures split again, had to go back. the sutures ultimately split 3 times and I had to go back to get restitched, but everyone was helpful and nice and I didn't think much of it. months later I get mailed a bill for 600 dollars and then a letter from a lawyer to collect the debt, and the big kicker here is the massive scar on my arm from stitches that popped open multiple times. scam artists. read more

I made two appointments for botox, neither of which were honored and I never received the treatment. The first time I made the appointment for botox and a consultation for another skin issue. After the consultation for the skin issue the assistant forgot that I was also scheduled for botox. She told me I'd have to come back the following week. This was very frustrating as I was clear when I booked the appointment what I was coming in for and received a confirmation of the appointment. I live 45 min from this office so coming back was going to be a hassle. I booked the second appointment anyway. After waiting in the reception area for more than 30 min I was taken into a room where I continued to sit. In a cold room with blaring music. For an additional 35 minutes. I was already made to reschedule my first appointment due to whatever mistake on their end, then to come back a second time and wait for over an hour is unacceptable. I finally walked out without receiving my service for the second time and an hour and a half commute in addition to the hour I waited in the office. I've seen this office respond to reviews about long wait times due to having to unexpectedly console cancer patients, etc. Respectfully, this is BS. The office was overflowing with people both times I visited. They clearly have a problem with overbooking. Had there been someone to at least let me know what the problem was or how much longer I could be waiting I might have been more forgiving. If I am spending hours of my day to give you my money for an elective service I expect more than the way I was treated here. I won't be back. I am supposed to go for follow ups for my other issue but will be seeking out another dermatologist to continue treatment. Avoid if you value your time. They clearly don't. read more

Wonderful dermotalogist, very busy but we we're seen promptly, may be 15 minute wait. Great advise and prescription have been spot on. The check in process was a breeze. The staff was very polite and is multilingual, so if you are English challenged, it helps too. Parking is very easy for the busy city location. All in all, great doctor and care. read more

I have known Dr. Del Campo, Dr. Danny and his staff now for a few years. They are both excellent doctors and very knowledgable when it comes to the skin. Whether it's taking care of an acne cyst on my face or explaining to me why I have the irritating, dry, flakey skin on my hands, they do it with kindness and passion. First of all i had to wait 30 minutes after my appointment for him to show up for and barely look at my scar and tell me couple of obvious things and after 5 minutes he tried ti stand up and leave without letting me ask him anything... Waste of time... I've been there twice now. The first time I waited an hour and twenty minutes just to get put in a room where I waited another twenty. Today I only waited thirty minutes. I knew what was wrong at the first visit, I had a cyst on my nose I wanted cut off. Instead he put me on antibiotics they said probably would not work. Why try something you're 90% sure will not work?? When I saw them for a second time they confirmed that this is should be cut out but I would have to schedule a third appointment for that. What was the point of me taking an afternoon off work for an appointment to do nothing? At first I have an amazing experience. A month later I have received more than three different bills from this office. Even though I have a very good insurance. I suggest you do your research so you won't be surprise months later with All kind of bills from this clinic. I was a little nervous to get a mole on my face removed, but when I went here, Dr. Danny Delcampo was very helpful and accommodating. He explained the procedure to me and the steps he was taking, and by the time he was done, the mile was already removed and I felt absolutely nothing. I got a skin condition and I was pretty worried. Did some research on Yelp and I decided to go to Chicago Skin Clinic. Luckily someone cancelled their appointment and I was able to sneak in on the same day appointment. I saw Dr. Danny, who was very nice and knowledgeable of my condition. He was able diagnose my condition and gave me the right treatments. With the med and the cream that Dr. Danny prescribed, my skin cleared up in 2 weeks. Thank you for your help! read more

Stay away fm this place. I went for a cortisone shot for cystic acne and I had to pay out of pocket due to their incompetence. I informed them my insurance would cover for it and aSked for the codes they would be billing my insurance and the dr campo did not like it.he seemed really nervous about it. I don't think he even gave me the correct injection bc the lesion was still inflamed and it usually subsides within 4 hours. I went to another dermatologist months later and my insurance paid for 2 injections and for the procedure itself, which is why I had to pay dr campo out of pocket bc he claimed no insurance would pay for it- they just don't know how to do their job. I'm so Mad at myself for having dr campo treat my face because like I mentioned before I went to see another derm. The derm injected 2 lesions, the one dr campo had already injected weeks before and one on my chin. Well the lesion on my chin is gone but not the one dr campo treated :( I do not know what he injected me with :( read more

They are the best... staff is really friendly and Doctor Dani Campos take his time with every patient, and help you a lot with finding you the right treatments without spending a fortune. Love Dr. Del Campo! Since I was a teen he has been my dermatologist. I recently had light therapy and boy do the lasers work! I am mediterranean so it was not painful and little redness. Sorry forgot which laser therapy name but This is the laser that you get at lunch or anyday and no one will notice. Results most of my freckles light sun damage gone and pores have shrunk. I am telling you all of my retinA and alpha hydroxy creams never given me these results. Ok I guess I am a typical fast food nation/results American but i love my skin. no more wasted money on high end creams dept store labels. I did buy TNS vitamin C and retinol from the doctor which I use three times a week it is pricey but worth a prescription of Retin A without the burning and that has maintained my" RADIANT" look like Charlottes Web pig. read more

This drs office has an excellent support staff, a positive vibe, and the doc gave an on target treatment plan for my weird rash. You are promptly greeted and seen within minutes of your appointment time. So glad I had Dr Danny to turn to when a totally unexpected skin condition came up. I had a few friends who would fly in from FL just to see this physician because he was the only physician who was able to finally help them with their issues; 2.) he has been numerous times on television for his expertise; 3.) he has lasers that many other dermatologists do not have In regard to the below posting, the reason why you had to wait is because THE DOCTOR IS REALLY GOOD AT WAIT HE DOES!! Dr. Del Campo is a no nonsense kind of guy. I came into the office without an appointment because I was desperate for help with my rash on my face. The staff gave me no problems about not having an appointment and I was able to see the doctor that day. I did have to wait but not any longer than I have had to wait for other doctors. I could tell right away that the staff does their best to help each patient. When I did get to see the doctor he knew right away what I had and that made me feel so confident in his knowledge, he looks like he's been doing this for a while. I left already feeling better, not as anxious and started to see results within a few weeks. For my follow up the assistant remembered me and it was like part of the family already! I recommend this Doctor to all of my family and friends for their skin issues! read more

Extremally disappointed with the staff. I would not recommend this office to anyone. I will be as brief as possible. I do not want to waste too much of my time as I wasted enough time in that office already. Confirmed my appointment four days prior to my appointment. I called to make sure Dr. Danny will be able to perform the procedure on Friday before my out of state flight for a week. I was clear about it. Asked the receptionist twice to make sure this can be done. I re-scheduled my appointment on Friday to an earlier hour because of a bad winter weather condition. Again, on the phone I explained the reason for my visit. Receptionist said: "no problem." I took off 2 hours from work that day to see Dr. Danny. My appointment was at 3:10 pm. I was taken to one of the rooms 40 min later(!). Sat in the room for another 15 min until an assistant with long curly hair came in and asked me for the reason of my visit then left the room. After about 10 min she comes in again and in a very casual tone of voice says "Unfortunately, we don't have the product, so we won't be able to perform the procedure today." What??? Why would you not call me to tell me this?! I was stunned! Dr. comes in few minutes later. Says the same thing. But at least he was apologetic. At this point I was speechless, upset, disappointed...I am waiting for an hour at his office only to find out they do not have the product!!! They knew about my visit 5 days prior to my appointment! Dr. Danny said he can refer me to his colleagues and they can do this procedure for me today. As much as he tried to be helpful - this was the last thing I wanted to do. Drive in a terrible winter traffic! I just left, extremely upset. Because I was leaving for a week the next day, I had many errands that day but I prioritized his visit. I wasted 2 hours of my work pay. Wasted over an hour at Dr. Danny's office for NOTHING. His staff obviously is completely incompetent and schedules appointment for the sake of it, I guess. So, I wasted another hour driving to and from his office in a terrible snowy condition - I was just praying not to get hit by another car because of an extremely slippery road condition that day. There would be no problem if the staff would call me and inform me of the fact they run out of product. BUT no - that didn't happen. The other thing that did not happen was the fact that none of the receptionists nor the Dr. himself even bother to call me and personally apologize for this incident clearly because of their own screw up. Over 4 hours of my time - completely wasted! My time is as important as yours!!! Very, very unprofessional staff! I have seen Dr. Del Campo (the father of Dr. Danny) in the past but because the staff handled my visit in the way they did and left a very bitter feeling - I will not be returning there. Great practice, highly recommended! Because of an emergency I needed a dermatologist shortly before 6pm right away. 3 other doctors turned me down. Dr. Del Campo took me without an appointment even his practice was crowded and it was late. He gave me the right medication, cured my disease and even gave me coupons for discounted drugs. Don't waste your time... I called and made an appointment with "technician Iris" for today, saturday at 9:30am. After an hour commute and paying for parking, I walk in at 9:28am and wait there for 4 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me and that was because I stood there staring down the hall waiting to see someone. Then I'm told... "Technician Iris" is not even there! and they don't take appointments! WTF... Totally disappointed. What a waste of my time. I was very impressed by the professionalism in this office . The doc was very nice, intelligent, and willing to help me. The nurses that helped me were so incredibly kind and helpful through the whole process. I encourage everyone to go to this office even if it's a little out of your way.
