Simultaneously, I was interested in doing a boudoir shoot with her as well so I paid the deposit. The month I was set to shoot, my company downsized and I lost my job creating a significant financial hardship on my family. I reached out immediately to let her know and see if she was willing to refund me. She said she was not as she was not obligated to fill the time slot but would be willing to apply it to another family shoot with our pets which sounded like an acceptable alternative. I recently started sharing photos from an earlier boudoir shoot and upon contacting her to schedule a family session, she replied with a passive aggressive message on social media saying I "misled her" by shooting with another photographer and she was not willing to make a contract exception now. It's clear in reading similar negative reviews that she is in it for the money versus taking care of or working with clients and then unjustly accusing them. Very disappointed. We will be going back to our regularly family photographer who is phenomenal and willing to work with her clients and make sure they feel truly taken care of. Enjoy your extra money. Karma is real.

We were referred to Jenn Tai by our wedding planners. We spent $4,410 for 6 hours of wedding day…read morecoverage with 1 photographer. Our photographer was Kelly Bowie. From the moment Kelly arrived at our wedding it felt like amateur hour. Even though we met with her in advance of our wedding and sent all the details in writing, she "forgot" pretty much everything we discussed. For example, Kelly forgot to bring the list of family groupings for the family photos. Kelly also forgot that we needed seating for disability accommodations during the family photos and chose a location that required our elderly and disabled guests to walk down a hill and then stand outside in the August heat for almost an hour with no place to sit. Additionally, during the ceremony Kelly's presence was very distracting. We were in a small greenhouse with multiple entrances where she could have easily walked around the guests to get from one point to another but instead she walked down the aisle and in front of our guests multiple times during the ceremony. If it's possible, when we received the photos we were even more disappointed in Jenn Tai Photography. There was a real lack of attention to detail that was visible in the photos and that you expect a professional photographer to be aware of. For example, in several of the photos you can see phones visible in pockets, hand sanitizer clipped to belts, etc. Also, some of the key photos were overexposed and as a result faces or images were so light that detail was lost. We brought a lot of these issues to the attention of the company owner, Jenn, who did her best to address our concerns during post-production editing. Jenn's customer service was great and we know that she worked hard to try to correct the issues. Thank you, Jenn, for doing your best to fix our photos. Overall, we're still not happy with most of our wedding photos, but thanks primarily to Jenn's post-production work we have a small percentage of wedding photos that we love and will cherish.

We interviewed a handful and felt an instant connection. Not only is she super professional and great at what she does, she makes being photographed fun and easy! She photographed both our engagement photos and our wedding. The photos were fantastic and really did capture who we are as a couple! Fast forward to our wedding. She was super organized, able to keep our family in line (it can be like herding cats) but most importantly, she was super inclusive to all of our family and friends. Our photos are beautiful and candid. Looking at them makes you feel like you were there on the day. We will recommend Jenn to all our friends and family and continue to use her as our family grows! We knew how gorgeous our venue was and how perfect everything would be, but we also knew how VERY NOT PHOTOGENIC we were. On top of that, we had seen other wedding photos done and we wanted to preserve more that just a photo of the day, we wanted to preserve the feeling and joy of our union. We ended up contacting Lynnsey by chance and I completely believe we were destined to meet. SHE IS A SUPPORT SYSTEM - She made us feel so safe and comfortable. She made us laugh and we knew, without a doubt, that if everything else failed on our day, we would have Lynnsey by our side. She was more than our photographer, she was our friend and support system through our wild ride of a wedding. AND SHE IS AN ARTIST. I honestly never thought that we could look so good. We have so many beautiful memories to look back on and it is all because of Lynnsey. We literally cannot thank her enough. If we could bring her with us to photograph every life event from now on, we would. AND SHE IS A NINJA - she is so flipping sneaky with her photo skills. We looked at the photos she sent us of our ceremony and went, "Where the F was she hiding while she took these?!" and we got married with around 40 people in attendance and under a small chuppah. Videographers are expensive, and I wasn't willing to pay for a dry or low-quality video. Travel fees for out-of-area videographers were not in the budget either. I gave up. Fast forward to my friend's wedding in Mexico, where Lynnsey captured the most fun, energetic, and touching moments. As soon as I saw my friend's video, I booked Lynnsey immediately! And she's worth every penny. Lynnsey is friendly, prompt, and very detail-oriented. I barely noticed she was filming our wedding day, but she didn't miss a beat. All of the promised deadlines were met, and she made sure that we were happy with the music selections. The entire process was easy and as promised. If I ever need a videographer again, I know who to call. :)

They deserve all of the stars…read more Photography was a huge priority for my husband and I as we planned our wedding, and we simply cannot imagine our wedding experience without Angela and Evan. They are not only artists and professionals, but the kindest, warmest people you will ever meet. From our very early correspondence, when we emailed back and forth and talked on the phone (we live on the East Coast, but got married in Seattle), Angela was thoughtful and dedicated, asking questions that showed she truly understands how wedding photography works. One of the things that makes her such an amazing photographer is the effort she puts into getting to know you before she even gets to the wedding - she walked through our venue with us, talked with me about the flow of the day, and made sure to stay in close touch with our wedding planner as well. Angela is so generous - when we decided at the last minute that we wanted to get engagement photos taken, she recommended a photographer friend on the East Coast for us. Some photographers might have been put out that we were asking for a recommendation, but not Angela. And on the wedding day itself, we were lucky beyond belief to get to work with both Angela and Evan - Angela shot me and my ladies as we got ready, and Evan was with the guys. Both of them were there for our first look, and throughout the rest of our day and night. While I never noticed them taking photos at the time, they somehow managed to capture all of the big and little moments that made our wedding so special to us - I don't know how they did it. It was so special to see them work together, too, as a married couple! My husband and I had booked a standard package, which ended an hour before the end of our reception - but Angela STAYED, out of the goodness of her heart, to capture our sparkler exit, because as she said, "I thought it would be really special for you guys to have those photos." Come on - that made me tear up, and filled my heart with such gratitude. Our wedding ended at 11pm, and we hung out with our guests at a bar until 1am. As we got in a cab to take us to our hotel, I got a text message from Angela with 20 incredible, beautiful photos from the day. Keep in mind - she had left the wedding at 11pm, too. So, after a full day of work, she went home and sent me a teaser of photos because she knew how excited I was to see them. You can't make this kind of stuff up; it's just too good to be true! And the delivery of the rest of the photos was amazing as well. Only a couple weeks later, we got a preview of about 80 more photos, and then the full album delivery about a month later. The quality of the photos is simply unmatched. And on top of all of that - which is already above and beyond what you could expect from a wedding photographer - Angela sent a beautiful goodie box last month with lovely prints and treats for us to enjoy. Again, I teared up. Working with Angela and Evan is one of the best decisions I've ever made - in life, not just in wedding planning. You will love them as much as you love your photos, which is to say: a lot!

We agreed that having great photos of our big day was one of our very highest priorities, so the search was on to comb through all the options to find the photographer for us. After a referral from a family friend, we ended up meeting with Angela and booking with her right away without meeting with anyone else. This ended up being one of the best decisions we made throughout our whole wedding planning process. Angela is an absolutely incredible photographer and an even better human being. Our package included engagement photos in addition to the photos on our wedding day. My husband was pretty apprehensive about having his photo taken and was worried that he wouldn't feel comfortable in front of the camera. Angela is such a pro, she easily made him feel comfortable during the engagement shoot and brought out the best in both of us. From the beginning of working together, she felt like a friend and someone we could be ourselves around, which is so important when documenting your big day. When it came closer to the wedding, Angela went above and beyond to make sure we had the things we needed. Five days before the wedding, I realized to my horror that I hadn't ordered ANY sparklers for our sparkler exit....and it was no longer Summer so it was nearly impossible to find a vendor willing to sell me fireworks. I felt so stupid and, honestly, a little panicked that one of the elements of our day that I had spent so much time thinking about wasn't going to happen. After filling her in on our dilemma, Angela began searching for us and found a bride selling sparklers near me that I could meet and ALSO met a seller herself in Tacoma and brought those sparklers with her to the wedding. Seriously, guys, she's the real deal. When it came time for our wedding she absolutely knocked it out of the park. She was a calming presence throughout the pre-ceremony period, providing gentle and much needed direction so that we stayed on schedule and had time for all the photos we were hoping to get before the ceremony. During the ceremony and reception, she blended in seamlessly, capturing every important moment. We were faced with a large amount of rain during our outdoor ceremony and outdoor reception, but Angela took it in stride and captured absolutely beautiful photos every step of the way. I imagine it isn't easy to shoot under those conditions and with that amount of rain, but she made it look easy. Although the rain was less than ideal, we all chose to embrace the elements and see it as a romantic addition to the day. Angela did the same, and captured the spirit of that perfectly in her photos. After recently reviewing all of our photos from our wedding, we truly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. As mentioned above, she captured the spirit of the day better than I ever could have imagined and, in the process, made all our friends and family look SO good. Looking through all our photos is like reliving the day, and she documented every candid moment with a level of artistry that exceeded all our expectations. We are so proud to share our photos with our loved ones and, honestly, can't wait for an excuse to work with Angela again.
