Just so you know!! And yes I believe you should do right by the law in all ways. So not looking to hear my car should have had a tag and not where it shouldn't have been.Because it did belong and I was taking care of it. I had just transferred my tag to my new car and waiting for my buyer to get my old car, but someone called about my car not having a tag and C&H came and got it. Open 24 hours is not for picking up your car so be aware! After hours is a $53 extra charge!!! My car was there less than 24 hours and my total charge was $353. Also they want only cash to get your car back so again if you leave it there is only going to cost more Than that. My question why only cash sales, You just have to wonder right, lots of questioning comes to mind for that!!! read more

Owner is super rude. Forced me to pay in cash (which is illegal in the Florida statutes). Would not let me see my car before I paid or signed for it. Got super upset and wouldn't let me inventory my car and told me I wasn't allowed to take pictures. All of which is illegal. See attached statutes. read more

Mind you, it's the day before Thanksgiving & these incompetent beings towed my car from an apartment complex that I LIVE IN because my complex decided to post a tiny handwritten sign that I'm unable to see AT NIGHT regarding temporary zone parking. I call to find out the location of my car and whoever it is that answers phones is extremely rude. LOL. Sir.. I didn't tow your car, you towed mine. He tells me it's $165 & they don't accept cash. LOL.. I have to take a Lyft to the lot just to find out this poor excuse of a tow company doesn't even have an actual office. They rent the lot from a car mechanic. I'm somebody who bases almost everything I do off of reviews, but am usually too lazy to get around to writing my own. But I had such a bad day today and such a good experience with A & H I decided to take a second to write about them. I have a Mercedes, and today after work I went out to start it and the battery wasn't dead but it wouldn't start. Needless to say, I needed a tow. My warranty company chose the towing company for me, so I got what I got. They quoted me it would take 45 minutes to arrive, and they got there in 35-40 minutes. The tow truck driver called me to confirm before he came out as well. I was stranded there, and he let me ride in the truck to the dealership where my car was getting towed to and my friend could take me home from later. Riding with the employee Nathan was not awkward or weird at all, even being a single young female in a truck with a strange man. I would recommend this company due to the fact that they are contracted with my warranty company so obviously they have to be reliable, their promptness, and quality employees. Thanks for making my horrible stressful day a little less crappy, and the free ride across town, I'm sure I'll be spending that money I would have spent on a taxi on some part I didn't know I needed for my car that isn't covered by warranty. (*sarcastic "haha") Oh, and P.S. - I was talking to Nathan as he was pulling my car up on the truck about the other hassles I've had with this Mercedes, like when my silly self locked my keys in my trunk, without a spare - and NO other company would even take my call, he said he could have helped me out getting them out. Seriously on one call to an auto locksmith when the man asked what make and model my car was and I said Merced-- he cut me off and said "Sorry Ma'am"...and that was that...I ended up having to rip out my back seat the ugly way myself, with bolt cutters, and a lot of hours, tears, and even a little blood. So if you've come across this review because you typed in something relating to "keys locked in Mercedes trunk" and came up with very little comforting help, and no locksmith will help you, try to call this company. So called "owner" was unbelievable rude, they said it would take an hour for my car so I called to check on the time and the owner said I was "out of line" while yelling and cursing at me multiple times over the phone. completely unexpected and out of context. extremely surprised this place is still in business. I attempted to use this tow truck company and it was the worst and the most unprofessional experience!!! I first spoke to someone they had given me one quote which seemed reasonable so i agreed to have them come get my car then as soon as the had my car on the truck the quote was not honored and the price was completely changed. So I then decided that I no longer wanted to use their towing company since it was not the price that I had originally agreed upon and asked them to drop my car and that I found another company who was going to do it for much less. Now the towing company wants to charge me $65 service fee for absolutely no service done at all except for wasting my time. Oh yeah and now all of sudden can't accept and charge cards they want cash only by this time I was over it! They would not drop my car and out of desperation I handed over $60 cash and they rudely damaged 5 more dollars as I was reaching for it. Now that was the cherry on top, I got my phone to call the cops because at this point I felt like I was being forced into doing something that I did not at all agree with and I felt like I was being robbed and the drive sped off. Called State Farm and they said 45 minutes and they would send A&H. In less then 15 minutes Steve from A&H called and said he would be right there. 30 minutes later I'm safe and sound back at the house ready to dig into my car and figure out what the problem is. This is by far the worst towing company I've ever dealt with. I contacted them about getting my totaled car towed back to my house from their lot. Every single time I called them, said the same thing "let me call you right back when I have the total". Hour passes by... still nothing so I called them back. Put me on hold for 15 more minutes. I had no idea who to call in the area to get my car towed, and when I saw the two good reviews A&H had received I decided they were it. The receptionist was so kind and helpful, and she dispatched Billy, the driver, right away. He called within 5 minutes and arrived in less than 30. Not only was he able to get me to my apartment complex for a flat rate, he made it a point to try to get me the best deal possible. He also showed me the mechanical issue I was experiencing and explained a way I may be able to repair it. This towing company illegally tow my son's vehicle from his apartment complex. The owner "Harold" charged him $100. to get his car back that should NOT have been towed. He then suggested that my son should file it on his insurance to get reimbursed. In essence, he suggested we defraud our insurance company stating that it overheated. Looking Pensacola Towing companies I got 3 pricing all in range 400$ but only one was available to tow my truck Friday on 22 of July 2016 from Pensacola to Panama City. I talked to A&H towing located at 4201 N Palafox St Pensacola, FL 32505 United +1 (850) 380-6181 owner personally at 11.11 am and she agreed to take up the job for same money. I offered to pay immediately but she said no credit cards and I should pay when they arrive. She said that I can pay over the phone when driver reached Panama City. When I called her to pay her she said she is out of office and cannot take payment. When driver arrived (James) he said that he would not work for 400$ and he will take truck back to Pensacola if I don't pay additional 150$. I was surprised and told him that owner said 400$. He called me a lier and showed me text from owner. We tried to call owner but she didn't answer. I payd 550$ what they asked but I would not recommend them nor use again. I know towing is tough business when people park wrong place or smt else but I wasn't suppose to be blackmailed like that due I was just towing my car on agreed terms. read more
