On 12 Feb, I called Tau's shop because a neighbor highly recommended him. I spoke to Sandi in the…read moreoffice. She said she would ask David to call me before the end of the day. David did call, and, after hearing my problem, he said he would drive to my home on Friday to see what he could find wrong with my Camaro SS. Sandi & Joe showed up well before noon. Joe plugged in his high-tech malfunction analyzer. The indication was a continuous misfire on the #7 cylinder. I replaced the coil, the plug, and I checked the wire for resistance. There seems to be a deeper issue so, I called Sandi again and she told me to call on Monday morning to see when I can have the car towed up to the shop. When they left my house on Friday, I asked how much I owed them for driving down and checking the car. Sandi said, "No charge". WOW! I'm hoping to get the car up to them today or tomorrow. More to follow......but how many shops, anywhere, spend valuable time and then say, "No charge"? Thank you, guys.
