Delivered a 1975 Corvette convertible to Mr. Joe at Tops Auto Body and received top-notch workmanship and service. Mr. Joe painted the car and the result is amazing. He replaced the soft top skin and the result is fantastic. Mr. Joe had to deal with ill-fitting aftermarket bumper covers, but he assured modifications to the parts and attached them to front and rear of the car. This place did an amazing job with my husbands car. A swinging metal gate door hit the side of my husbands Camaro and left a nasty dent on the side. We checked out a few places that were very pricey. My brother recommended this place saying he had his Evo's bumper fixed a few years back and they did a really good job at a reasonable price. I found this shop here on Yelp and was really happy that I did. I bought a jeep and was looking for someone to help make it a one of a kind vehicle. I spoke to several shops and had actually taken my stuff to another guy who was close to home. The same day, I received a call where the owner decided that this was just too tough for him. It was clear to me that I needed a shop that had competent people to complete my Jeep. I called several shops and after speaking Alex, it was clear to me that these guys knew what they were doing. Alex had described similar projects they'd done and described some of the process that they learned over the years. They called me several times over the week to let me know about decisions I needed to make regarding how to help customize the install which I really appreciated. Joey is a true pro and the work speaks for itself. You could tell he was proud of the job when Joe called me to pick it up. He sounded excited to show it to me. Being a Jeeper, I've seen many attempts to save a dollar go wrong. In this case, pricing was competitive. More than fair for sure. The best part is the paint work is so clean and defect free. As a female most shops always try to upsell me or get impatient when I need things explained more thoroughly. Joey and Alex were so patient with me and truly made me feel comfortable. They have fixed my personal car, my company car, and so many of my relative's cars. Each and every time our cars come back looking better than before the accidents. They always work with our insurance so promptly and keep us updated throughout the entire duration. This place is complete garbage. They painted my Volkswagen bug. The paint job was horrible and started bumbling up in a couple of years. Their bodywork guy has no business doing bodywork. His welds were beginner level almost like a high school shop students first year. They warped the frame and the doors don't shut evenly. I'm pretty sure they painted the car outdoors. The owner came up with excuse after excuse to keep my car longer and longer. Finally after 6 months I got my car back with a horrible paint job. I reached out to a lawyer to sue this clown and they sadly stated it would be a 50/50 chance to win. They stated because the contract was super vague. Find someone else to paint your car. Brought my first new car since 1974 yes a 2016 Nissan Versa white exterior color because it is the most visible and I wanted to be safe. Well got hit 2 times in 3 weeks drivers side door dented At a AMPM ARCO the the entire drivers side was hit again Front bumper fender mirror wheel cover door !!! What a jinxed car !!! Hit and runs stolen car My insurance cashed me out so I was able to have the work done by Tops !! Got it back looking like it is a new car Really great work quick and great customer service The 6 estimates I got varied Tops was not the lowest but $1400 less than the AAA preferred shop. Can't tell it was damaged very minor tell tale signs if one looks close and knows what to look for. Overall I give the work a 98% perfect score I'm picky so 2 dust bunnies and a tiny overspray Gives a 2% deduction I do recommend this family owned body shop over 20 years in business quality at a fair and reasonable price read more

My car door and left rear were severely damaged after being hit on the 15 freeway. Joey gave a reasonable quote and had the car fixed within a couple of weeks. He also ended up fixing it for a couple hundred dollars less then the estimate. You can't even tell it was a total loss after seeing it. We did have to come back because the sound of air was still coming through my car but he ended up fixing it and even gave a ride back to our home while we waited for the repairs . I got into a minor car accident recently and was very upset about it because my car is my baby! I was referred here by a former employee. I'm always nervous about taking my car anywhere to be worked on, but I felt at ease after speaking with the owner and his son. They gave me an estimate for $250 to repair the damage (minor dent and paint was scratched on bumper). On the way home, I stopped by another auto collision repair shop just to compare estimates. They wanted almost $600 dollars! With the low prices, friendliness, and trustworthiness of Tops Auto Body, I felt comfortable choosing them to fix my car. I dropped my car off on a Monday at 11:30AM, and it was done the very next day at 10:00AM. They did a wonderful job repairing my car. It looks brand new! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. Went here a couple years ago, was originally happy with the work. Good price, seemed like decent people. Shortly after getting my truck back we started noticing parts were missing, mainly a trailer hitch that had been custom made for me. Called thinking maybe they had to remove stuff to do the work and forgot to put everything back on, guy said he had no idea. I have no actual proof, but I know these guys ripped me off and stole parts off my truck. Paint they used was cheap shit too, started fading and peeling less than a year later. It already looks terrible. Learn from my mistakes, don't use these guys. They pull you in with a good price so they can rip you off and do a shitty job. read more
